I noticed that my company owns a few exact match domains that are relevant to our business. Is it worth doing anything other than just redirecting them to our homepage?

It turns out we own a few exact match domains that are relevant to our business. Is it worth doing anything other than just redirecting? (We have owned these sites for a long time, over 15 years.)
The keywords are moderate to low in traffic and moderate to high in competitiveness. (Right now they 301 to our main site.)
I know exact match is not as valuable as it used to be and that there are mixed opinions about microsites...

I'm still getting great results from several EMD's that have very good content on them and which are updated regularly. My EMD's also do very well with Bing/Yahoo, who seem rank this signal higher.
I think you'd be ok if you found a unique purpose for the domains and put excellent content on them. In our case, we have some software products that solve some broad problems, but also several niche problems. We used the EMD's to focus the product content like a laser on the niche.
Google doesn't like EMD's with spammy content, but thankfully it still likes great unique content.

Exact match Domains aren't as effective as they were 1 year ago. Matt Cutts made a Youtube video about this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAWFv43qubI This one is a little older.
Also, it depends on how much effort you have to put into marketing this domain. The only time when I think I would use an exact match domain would be if my site was ranking so high for all the keywords that I wanted to hog up the SERPS by taking slots #2 and #3.

Alot of 302 Redirects, what to do?
I'm currently auditing my companies website, and we encountered thousands of 302 redirects. The 302 pages are products page, which is a question and answer module at the bottom of each products page. What best practice should I do to get rid of the 302 redirects? add those pages to the .robots.txt? Or do individually and add a no index? This would help boost our rankings up correct?

Do deep pages issues affect homepage chances of ranking?
Hello community, I have a general question: let's say you have some issues in deep pages, like duplicate pages without a canonical tag, or missing description or missing titles, etc.. Will these issues affect the chances of the homepage ranking if the homepage is optimized (no duplicates, canonical, good keywords volume, alt text, etc.) and has none of the issues present in deep pages within the site? Can you canonical from one domain page to a different domain page
We are a boating site and have our main site with all it's products. We have an engine section within our main site. But we also have an outside domain, specific to a certain manufacturer of engines. So we want our customers to still find the engine information for this manufacturer within our main site, as well as find the manufacturer targeted engine site in the SERPS. My question is this: Can I canonical those pages within our main site to pages on the outside domain? Or does are canonicals to be used only within the same domain? Thanks,

Can a country level domain perform well in international SEO if all the targeted keywords are related to that country domain?
Hi fellow Mozers, I am doing international SEO on Google US, UK, UAE and Saudi Arabia. All my targeted keywords have my country name in it, for example, export companies in France, best import companies in France and so on. Finally, my website has a country level domain i.e. www.xyz.co.fr _Hence, my questions are: _ 1. Is it good have a country level domain in this case or should I go TLDs? 2. Should my Google Plus page be a local business page or company page from SEO perspective? I have more than 10000 users who have +1 my website. _Thanks in advance. _

Opinions On This Homepage
Hi Folks, I'm pretty new to SEO, I just updated our home page (http://alabu.com) to have some actual content (used to be just product images basically). Anyway, I'm trying to optimize for the term natural skin care products (and some variations on it), as well as goat milk soap a little (actually going to optimize a category page for goat milk soap, but since it's our flagship product I'm putting it on the homepage as well. Moving our current homepage to a new URL
Our homepage currently speaks to a specific product and we're re-doing our homepage to be more about the brand which links to the product. The current home page has PA of 62 with thousands of links to the page. Question is are there any best practices around this or any risks? So current page is: www.xyz.com which we will be refreshing then moving the existing content to www.xyz.com/product so all the subdirectories gets shifted over 1 Thank in advance for the help!

I built a website on magentogo - IrisScottPrints.com. The seomoz crawl report states 301 rel canonical crawl notices. What if anything should I change?
Wondering if I should remove "IRIS SCOTT PRINTS |" from all the title tags and/or change the url structure of the pages, to not include the breadcrumbs... I don't really understand the whole rel canonical structure thing. Also lots of errors on page title too long - does that really matter? Lots of faith in everyone here. Thanks in advance. Marcia

Forcing keywords into domain structure
Hi there, Over the last few years, I've seen people structuring their site so that their main content is all housed in a folder named after the site's primary keywords. For example, if I had some content about home insurance, normally naming conventions state that I might put the content at a URL such as: www.mydomain.com/home-insurance However, some sites, may change this structure to include their main keyword again in the URL string: www.mydomain.com/insurance/home-insurance The folder 'insurance' would normally hold the site's Sitemap to increase internal linking strategy too. I'd be really interested to hear whether anyone has seen any serious benefits from re-structuring their site in this way? What are your thoughts on this? Thanks,
