What is the easiest way for me to pitch a blog post for inclusion on SEOmoz?

I want to write a post about why PR people have been doing content marketing for decades. It is just that most don't realise it. I then want to cover 5 content marketing tips from the PR industry, looking 'beyond the infographic'.

If you are asking that question, I guess you are very new. I suggest you spend a while reading through SEOmoz so that you do not create a post which goes against the grain or goes nowhere

Hi James,
On the YouMoz blog, posts that tend to be accepted and do best are those that contain the most actionable information and teach how to do something that is of value to the community. Opinion pieces are typically not the type of content our community wants, but posts that teach are super. We carefully consider every submission YouMoz receives and will look forward to reviewing your submission if you decide to write your article!

You could write a blog post for YouMoz..
Go to your profile page and look in the right column under "My Moz Stuff"... then "Manage YouMoz"... then click on "Compose a Blog Entry".
I think that anyone can submit a post... but they have a filter on what gets published to keep crap off of the site. If you read what's out there you can see a lot of really high quality postings. The best ones are promoted to the SEOmoz blog.

Authorship for Company Blog -- What if Employee Leaves?
This question has been sort of asked before but I haven't found any concrete answers. We've never really had a consistent author on our company blog. We had an internal employee writing, and then we outsourced for a bit, and now we're moving back to an internal writer. With all the transientness of our authors, who should we be using for authorship? If the new writer leaves our company, they take all their AuthorRank with them. Would it make sense to post all content under one of the founders or maybe even a fictitious employee? Edit: Orrrr do we get the new author to create a separate G+ Profile tied to their company email address that we can retain control over even if they leave?

Where can I install a blog (not on the domain I'm optimising) which will help my search rankings?
I've got my hands tied, and I cannot install a blog like Wordpress on the domain I'm optimising. My question is, where then, would the next best place be? I've heard stories about subdomains being completely useless for affecting SEO of the root domain, and so anything external would probably have the same effect, correct? Would love to hear what some of you do in these situations. Cheers!

Content Duplication for Job Posting
Hello! I am responsible for SEO of a job portal of a recruitment agency. We get 30-40 jobs every month which we post on a) our job portal b) other job portals (like monster, career builder, Naukri , etc). How do avoid content duplication? We can only post the same job descriptions everywhere. We always post the job on our site first and then the other job portals**. How to ensure that Google knows our portal is the original job posters and not other job portals.** Thank you.

Guest Blogging Question
Hi Everyone, Bit of a serious question here for me, Is it worth doing a guest post on a blog more then 2 times? As an example one blog I guest post on has a homepage PR6 which I have posted 2 times, now they have requested another guest post but im thinking would it just be better to guest post on a different blog? So my question in simple terms is: 5 guest posts on two PR6 websites or 10 guest posts on ten different blogs with PR3

Opinions for the Long URL strings in WordPress Blogs.
We use Wordpress for our agency Blogs. The URL's are very long and the Moz does not like the long URL's. Should we use the stubby, short Wordpress URL's for each blog post? Is there a "Best Practice" for how one should use the Wordpress URL string?
