How to calculate how much traffic and how much revenue we shoudl expect?

I am trying to select some keywords and keywords I selected i know that it'll be bring traffic but how would i know how much traffic it could bring and what revenue i should expect?

There are only ten positions on the first page of Google.  If you don't earn one of those positions then your revenue is going to be close to zero.  And, since there are usually thousands of pages competing for those ten positions, the probability of revenue is really low.

So, if you think that you are going to toss up a website and make a pile of money, it probably isn't going to happen.

For most of the websites out there the only people who are making money from them are hosting companies and designers.

If you use the Adwords Keyword Tool, you can find out the search volume for your keywords (make sure to uncheck "Broad" and check "Exact" in the sidebar):

Once you figure out the search volume, you can then calculate how many people will actually click through to your site. This will depend on your keyword, meta tags, and ranking, but a conservative estimate would be 40% for #1 position, 25% #2, 15% #3, 10% #4, etc. You can find more info here:

Your revenue then would be your expected traffic * your conversion rate * amount of revenue per conversion.

To accurately do this, you will need good volume of historic data. Even if you have this, it may not be that accurate. You can figure out rough volume numbers (Google trends) and figure out how many clicks you  and your competitor's may get (few tools out there). A kw arriving at a good landing page should probably convert 2% and above. Multiply this by your average revenue and you can come up with a rough number.
