My last rankings report dates from 10 june. How is that possible since it is supposed to happen every week ?

Ahh yes, those were temporarily removed and you will actually see the detailed changes in your next rankings reports which two of them have already been sent this morning.
Hope that helps!

David,
I've just checked my entire spam e-mail box. No messages from MOZ. But what I meant was the rankings reports. For my KBDB campaign I did receive exact rankings with number of improved, declined, stayed the same rankings. But the other e-mails contained a message that a new crawl was completed and that there were new rankings. I did not receive a message with changes in rankings.
I checked if I could send you one of these messages but that wasn't possible due to the fact that I've already deleted those. I'll keep a close eye to the receiving e-mails.
The other stuff I'll just wait for more patiently then.
thanks for your help david.
Regards
Jarno

Hi Jarno,
Just our branding and marketing were updated so no software changes yet (not until Moz Analytics roll out to everyone). As for your reports I do see the others completed and emailed to you on the 18th. These also completed and emailed the prior week on the 11th. Let me know if you can find the reports in your spam/junkmail folder.
Our Community Manager Jen Lopez goes through and manually reviews mozPoints about once a month, but the process timeline is not set in stone and it's all dependent on that manual review. So I'm not sure exactly when you'll be getting the refund - it does take a lot of time for Jen to review all of the accounts. Someday we'll automate it! Until then, just keep an eye out and we'll get that to you as soon as we can!

Dear david,
you commented that problems with campaigns shouldn't exist so far due to software changes and everything. Although I do not have any problems with crawls, so far, I've noticed that I haven't received rankings reports with detailed information for the last 2 maybe 3 weeks.I received one today for my campaign kamperen bij de boer but the other campaigns haven't received them so far.
I have another question. A couple of months ago I received well over 200 mozpoints in a single month. Only when i look at my credit card statements I haven't received the 99 dollar refund sofar. Could you check this too for me?
regards

Hi Cristian,
I took a look at your campaign and do see the last update was on the 17th, do you remember when you added your keywords? The next update will take place this Friday.
Jarno,
I would like to take a look at your campaigns as well. Our branding changes should not have affected crawls or ranking updates. Let me know what campaigns are not updating and I will get them pushed through for you today.
Cheers!

Hello Jarno,
I certainly hope it will not take 2 weeks...
Thank you for the response.
Cristian

cristian,
i think this is a minor glitch due to the transition the the new moz system. I've not received rankings reports for 2 weeks and now their back so I would give it a couple of weeks for the problem will be fixed.
regards
Jarno

Unsolved Wild fluctuations in ranking, any thoughts on why or what to do about it?
We have a keyword which is important to us and used to have rock steady rankings for over a decade. Over the past 9 months or so it has been fluctuating all over the place. Jumping up or down 20 places or so overnight. Any thoughts on this behaviour and what we should be doing to stabilise the ranking?Screenshot 2024-05-13 at 09.47.jpg

Last click conversions (Assisted conversions report vs. Channels report)
Hi Mozzers, Does anyone know why the last click / direct conversions (by channel) in the 'assisted conversion report in Google Analytics do not match the conversions in the Channels report. I thought conversion data in the channels report was last click / direct conversions? Thanks for your help!

Longevity of robot.txt files on Google rankings
This may be a difficult question to answer without a ton more information, but I'm curious if there's any general thought that could shed some light on the following scenario I've recently heard about and wish to be able to offer some sound advice: An extremely reputable non-profit site with excellent ranking had gone through a re-design and change-over into WordPress. A robots.txt file was used during development on the dev site on the dev server. Two months later it was noticed through GA that traffic was way down to the site. It was then discovered that the robot.txt file hadn't been removed and the new site (same content, same nav) went live with it in place. It was removed and a site index forced. How long might it take for the site to re-appear and regain past standing in the SERPs if rankings have been damaged. What would the expected recovery time be?

Have i got a manual action on rankings?
Hi guys, so recently Google released the 'manual actions' tab under 'search traffic' in Google webmaster tools. Recently hit by panda i checked this and got: " Unnatural links to your site—impacts links Google has detected a pattern of unnatural artificial, deceptive, or manipulative links pointing to pages on this site. Some links may be outside of the webmaster’s control, so for this incident we are taking targeted action on the unnatural links instead of on the site’s ranking as a whole." However was this not the message before saying it was not a complete manual ban, just affecting a few bad links? I was hit badly in the rankings but still have some good terms and traffic is not that bad still from organic non-brand. I have fixed many of the bad links (horrible articles submissions that went out of control in 2009) - do i do a reconsideratikn request? i have disavowed the bad links that are left 3 weeks ago? so do i wait to see if disavow works or do a reconsideration request?I was sure this was like the message sent out before which meant it wasn't that bad for your site, just a few links ignored? Any advice much appreciated, thank you.

Page Optimization score is An A but Rank is dropping
New to company in SEO and they wanted a page to rank high for certain term : knowledge management on this page: http://www.apqc.org/knowledge-management Ran SEO Moz optimizer and did suggested changes. Moved score to A and ranking was on google first page but now it's dropped considerably last 2 months as the bounce rate has gone through the roof. I'm at my wits end and don't want the higher ups on me for the drop. I'm not sure what to try next.

Google Analytics Report throws up Google as a referrer
Good morning from Wet & Windy 12 degrees C wetherby UK... Using Google analytics I've noticed in the traffic sources refferer subsection some traffic is categorized as originating from Google. Whats puzzling me is.... I know a huge amount of traddic stems from Google but as the below screenshot illustrates only 21 visitors come from Google: http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc53/zymurgy_bucket/google-refferal-sources-top-levelcopy.jpg And when i drill down some are coming from Google mobile 😞 http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc53/zymurgy_bucket/google-referral-sourcescopy.jpg Is traffic categorised as Google referrer down to Google hiding searches via ssl as explained here: http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc53/zymurgy_bucket/google-referral-sourcescopy.jpg Any insights welcome 🙂

Will Google start trimming 'stale' sites rank?
With the recent focus on Google to reduce rank of farms and low value sites, I am interested to get SEO view on if you think Google will start devaluing stale sites. I do find it a bit frustrating that in the top 5 for my main key phrase, there is one site that has NO content just an error and another blog that has not updated content in 2 years. How can blogs that do not blog be considered high enough value by Google to rank in the top 5? How can sites that just return 404 or 500 for ALL their pages be even considered a site let alone rank 2nd. I am interested so see others experiences and thoughts on 'user experience' clean ups by Google and why these types of sites get missed?
