Should I optimize/link build all my pages at once?
-
I'm currently starting to optimize about 30 area specific pages for a property maintenance company and was wondering, what's the best way to link build multiple pages at once?
Should I link build for all of the 30 the pages at once, or maybe focus on 5 individual pages - get them ranking well, then focus on the next 5 and so on?

If you know now that you will optimize 30 pages then make your plan now. Determine which pages will focus which key words or phrases. This will help you avoid cannibalization within your own site. You can also start now with building anchor links between each page as you optimize them.
As you build links or otherwise improve your first few pages, you may encounter an opportunity for another page. You can then either take notes so you can easily backtrack later, or you can stretch and include the extra page while it is convenient. An example is you may have a site which sells insurance. You might contact an auto dealer and obtain a link on their site referring car buyers to your site. At the same time perhaps you might think about the health or life insurance needs of the car dealer's employees and find an opportunity there as well.
One last thought. Once you feel your first 5 pages are optimized, I would not recommend waiting for them to rank well. Go ahead and jump into the next 5. It takes time for SEO to work. There is no benefit to waiting. Get started now.

As link building is a very long process i suggest you do a perfect on-page SEO so each page targets specific keywords and what ever opportunity arises to get good juicy links to your website no matter the page just do it as even if you target lower pages for links your home page still gets some juice from it.
Hope it helps.

Link Building Companies
Hi Moz Community, I'm currently looking into hiring a link building company. I found one promising lead out of Boise, ID who only specializes in white hat link building tactics but unfortunately, I found some tainted reviews as well. Any one has adice/recommendations on great companies out there? Many thanks!

Inbound Links from Broken Pages
Hi all, We have a client who has a lot of inbound links from external pages that are broken/404. The 404 pages are EXTERNAL and linking to my client's pages, but their domain still has authority and their home page (and other pages) still load. My question is: what should we do about this? Do we detox those links, or are they still sending some juice given that they have domain authority, despite the fact that the pages linking to my client are broken? So in other words: - My client is: yyyy.com - They have a link from vvvv.com/services, which is a broken page - So what should we do about this? Thanks all! Gavin

So my questions is; Does it really matter if the link is relvant to property or real estate if I have got ranking increases? Or will it later harm my site?? Thanks Gareth

A few questions about link building?
1. Is it worth gaining more then 1 link on a website when link building, for example if I did a guest post on a blog, is it worth doing another guest post on the same blog linking to the same website? So 2 guest posts on 2 blogs, or 4 guest posts on 4 blogs? 2. When building links through guest blogging, you have two options, a link in the byline and a link in the content. Will a link in the content have more benefit then in the byline as its surrounded by relevant content? 3. Does having a link higher up the page have more benefit then one lower down?

Which parameter does google value more: number of incoming links or on-page optimizations (meta data and keywords)?
I am just starting with the SEO and I have a client in the travel industry whose website is not ranked well on the search engines. After doing the seo audit we see that the website's on-page optimization (meta titles, meta description, meta keywords and h1, h2, etc tags) is bad. At the same time there are very few incoming links into the website. These are the key 2 issues we found. In order to proceed most effectively, what do you think would be more effective to focus on first? Doing the on-site optimization or focusing more on the link building? Do the search engines, in particular, google - weight more either of these parameters? thanks so much for all your advice! all the best egle
