How long does Google Analytics store data?
-
Hello All,
How long analytics keep the data for one website?
- at least two years
- at least 25 months
- other
I guess that they guarantee at least 25 months, but it might be more.
Anyone has any other suggestion?Thanks,
-
Hello guys..thanks for your answer.
Option No. 2 is the best fit for it. Analytics data will remain in account for at least the past 25 months. Anna from the Google Analytics team said, "data is stored for at least 25 months," when using Google Analytics.
Thanks a lot.

We seem to have data going back almost to the launch of analytics under the Google brand. No sign of data being deleted yet.

The account I manage has got data stored from 2007
-
I have data still in my account from 5 years ago. I think they guarantee 25 months, but since archiving data over the last few years has been dropping fast they probably don't make a habit of deleting anyone's data anymore.

If you search the forums there are reports of 25 months back in 2009 as a minimum, it would not surprise me that they have been expanding since then like they do for storage on other products.
I have an account with GA data going back to August 2008 to current - so that is almost 4 years.

No Search Data in Google Search Console (Search Analytics)
Wondering if anyone has experienced 0 data in their Google Search Console (Search Analytics) and found possible solutions to retrieve data? We have a few clients who, prior to the update to Google Search Console, were getting data regularly in terms of the Search Queries report, but ever since the update to Google Search Console, they are no longer receiving data. As an FYI, both the www and non-www versions of the website are verified in Search Console and the XML Sitemaps and Robots.txt files are clean, tested and working fine. Any insights or experience of sites showing 0 data in Search Analytics? Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Google Analytics Average Position
I'm looking at Google Analytics -> Acquisition -> Search Engine Optimization -> Queries reports. I'm looking at keywords and the average position. What Google reports and what I see in a Google incognito search is different (usually my search is much lower). For example, for one search term, Google reports 5.8 average position and every time I search it is 8. My local result is 4. Anyone know why this is? I'm wondering if Google is averaging the Local results into number?

Google Analytics - Not provided info
Morning all, i am using Google analytics for some time now, One of the issues that i don't have a clear answer for is, when i am looking at Traffic Source --> overview In the Keyword column, that is a line (not provided) What we think here is that we cant see the keywords if someone arrived to our website but was logged-in to Google account Is this correct? is there a way to find the keywords behind this (not provided)? - i have many visits for this line (17.3% of all visits) and i don't know which keywords people used. Thank you SeoWise

What is click2.scour, and why is it showing up as Referral Traffic in Google Analytics?
I've noticed that a couple of my clients in the insurance industry have been receiving a pretty large boost in Referral Traffic from a source called click2.scour.com and click2.efacts.com. What surprises me most is that the traffic has a low Bounce Rate, a high Avg. Visit Duration, and is made up of 100% New Visits. What is this? Why would they be getting so much traffic from these two sources all of a sudden? Thanks in advance for your help!
