Help with google+ Please??

Hello, we have recently created a google + page.
We have entered our URL however i do not think that it is set up correctly.

There is no button on the header to follow or to +1
there is no mention of our URL within the header, and i have found on many others the url is displayed, linked with a tick and a little globe next to it.
i am presuming that i need to link the google plus page to my webiste and verify it some how? But i am struggling to figure out how too do this. can any one help or shed any light on this? Thanks

A little lower than you have on your image you should see a link page with "your website" and a little tick next to it the tick means its been linked.

I have managed to do all that but i cannot understand why it has not linked. it shows our URL but not as a hyperlink?

Did you make sure to out your G+ number where it says yourpageID?

Link to your website from your Google+ page's profile.
To edit your page profile:

Make sure you're on the Google+ page you'd like to edit.

Click the profile icon .

Click Edit Profile.

Click Website. You'll know it's editable when the color of the section changes to blue.
On the "about" section you want to edit the links section if you want find it don't worry edit any of the boxes then you will see tabs at the bottom (circles) Second in from the right is one called links you can add your website there

Update your site's home page by adding a link to your Google+ page, like this:

There is no section that says website? or "edit profile"?
I click "edit" on my google plus page and it brings up a box to edit the content...
People, story, work, education... but no section called website.
Its been bugging me for days!

Fetch for Google
Hi there! A short question from Holland: My developers made a mistake with a template on a subpage in Wordpress. When Google crawled my site again, Google found an empty page. The same day we loosed our #1 position on the main keyword and now we are on position #6. We restored the page the same day and asked Google to recrawl the page again (fetch for Google). But 48 hours later nothing changed. When I look in the cache date' the page still has the old date, while my competition has a newer cache date. We send some traffic to the page and did some facebook post on this page. Does anybody knows how to kickstart this page again?

Google Play rankings?
Hi everyone, I've spent the last hour or two googling information on Google Play app rankings, and a few websites mention that standard pagerank of the app page is taken into account when calculating rankings. This seems to make sense, though I'd estimate it's probably not a large factor, with daily downloads being a much higher factor IMO. So my question is, how much of a factor does standard link-building for a Google Play app webpage have in the rankings?. We're trying to increase exposure of an app we've built (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.onedirection), and though we seem to have more downloads, reviews and +1's than others, we seem to be ranking beneath them. Connecting a Google Places & Google+ Account?
Does anybody know how to connect Google Places to Google+? When my company name is searched in Google, the Google+ page appears on the right hand side like it should. However, under the meta description of the first search result there a link saying 'Google+ page' which links to a Google Places Local account. Does anyone know how this can be sorted?

Anyone use the new "Social Settings" in Google Analytics?
In the past couple of months, Google rolled out a tab called "Social Settings" in the Admin area (see image). It's an optional setting, and Google is rather vague about what it does. GA already tracks social in "Traffic Sources," so what is the advantage of using Social Settings? If you've used these new settings, what have your experiences been? Were the settings helpful? One of the main benefits of using Google+ for your business is that your Google+ posts are indexed in Google. The more you post, the more likely your content will show up in search results. Google + Rules on Running Product Giveaways
I read in the Google+ Guidelines that running a contest, sweepstakes or other forms of contest is against the rules for Google+ However I have seen a few contests going such as share this with your friends to get entered to win. How is Google enforcing this rule? My company runs product giveaways each month on Facebook but I did not know if I would get banned for posting a link to it or building content around it on the Brand Page. Google+ and its effects on SERPs
Hi all, With the recent launch of Google+ I've looked into the possible effects of +1'ing sites and whether or not it has a direct effect on other people with whom I'm connected within Google+. So far I cannot see any direct correlation, however I running a bigger/wider experiement with more people to get a definitive answer. What does scare me as an SEO, is that Google+ users will (most likely) use Google search whilst they are logged in, which, as we know personalises results based on a myriad of suspected metrics such as previous visits, personal +1, etc... How is this going to effect the SEO world if/when a Google+ attracts more users. Experienced this first hand when a client called me to congratulate a jump from position 9 on Google to first position over the weekend, which when I checked, the website hadn't shifted, the client was logged into her Google account due to the fact she had been playing with plus.
