Advice on how to handle Guest Blogging between multiple brands
-
How to you manage your guest blogging efforts between companies. I blog for 4 different companies, and just started….I am confused if I should blog as myself, or should each company have an "author" set up, and then guest blog under each author?
I want their website to get better rankings, and the brand to get more engagement. I am not concerned about myself and my authorship rating….but should I be? Would that be more beneficial to have all blogs tied to me, to help with engagement. Or am I shooting myself in the foot by not increasing my authorship. What's more important? Authorship or blogging about the relevant content from the author that makes the most sense? Just looking for tips from anyone that has to blog under different brands. How do you do it?!?! (also, looking into myguestblog plugin)

As I understand authorship, the goal of google launching it is to identify authors who are popular and authoritative.
The person who produces great content has the best opportunity to benefit from authorship, and his/her clients will benefit at the same time. At present, google might not be using it to rank pages in the SERPs, however, it is very likely that they will use it in the future.
A person who is producing utility content might receive very little benefit, or even dilute the value of his/her best content.
So, what I am doing is claiming authorship of the premium material that I produce (that being defined as a page of content that is one of the best on the web for its topic) and not claiming it on utility writing.
Part of authorship is claiming YOUR brand. If you produce great content then people who search frequently in the topic areas where you produce content will see your photo beside your content in the SERPs. That can build a tribe of people who like your work and might earn you higher CTR over time. This will benefit you on all future author-claimed work. It can also benefit your clients - which can make you a more valuable author - especially if authorship becomes an important factor in ranking webpages.

Keyword Restrictions - Advice on Best Practices
Hi. I looking to the community for support around how others have dealt with restrictions involving keyword usage. I have a client that is within the health supplements industry, and though not as highly regulated as medicine, they still have restrictions on words they CANNOT use on their store/website. Which of course is restrictive when you are trying to help them rank for Diabetes Supplements, but they can't mention the condition at all. So, what say the community, have you dealt with a similar issue? If so, how did/would you solve it? And can you share the solution/case study/website? In general, I was thinking they create a stand alone blog that talks about alternative medicine, health conditions, ingredients/recipes, etc. First identify what people around, e.g. Diabetic Supplements are searching for and then build content around those searches. Then once the community has had time to grow, start offering banner ads that direct them to the types of supplements they are selling on their direct website. *Just so you know, I'd also advise to put a disclaimer on the blog so people knew who owned it.

Looking for a Proof Reader for a Moz Blog Post..
Hello everybody, After being here for 4 years I decided to write a post for YouMoz. That was about 3 months ago, and while I have read, re-read and proofed this thing a dozen times since, I know my own limits. I honestly want the post to be the best it can be, and while I stand by my article, I know my forte is not with writing. My article is about Beginning SEO and Where to Start, yes it maybe cliche but I find myself answering many of the questions on these QA boards that I address in this article. It would be nice to have a post I could point to when such situations arise. What I'm looking for is one or two persons with a strong knowledge of basic SEO, the ability to understand me (a cluttered mind), and strong grammar skills. Credit will be given to those who want it. The article is basically in what I consider a finished state, I just need to add a compendium video for one of the sections. I have done my own artwork, research, and document design. I just need a keen eye to snuff out those grammar errors I always miss and somebody to tell me if a section doesn't make sense. If you are interested please let me know here, or send me a PM. I would like to have something to review to make my selection so if you're not active here, a link to where you are would be beneficial. I know that might be asking a lot; help and you also get vetted, but the idea is I don't want to send out what I think is a very good article only to see it appear on another site. Thank you, Don P.S. To the Moz staff. Once I make my selection I will mark at least one response as Good so it don't keep annoying you as an un-answered question.

Best way to handle blogs for a customer with a chain business?
I have a new customer who owns three local gyms. Each one has its own unique url. I intend to do some blogging for him, and would like it to be effective for SEO. Obviously, publishing duplicate content is out, but writing tons of new posts each month is beyond our scope. Would you recommend having one separate blog (with its own url) that is linked from each of the 3 main sites, or would it be better to create a blog on each site and alternate publishing articles on each one, putting a unique intro and link to the main post on the other two?

Guest blog on my web site.
**I received this email from a lady who wishes to write articles and post them on my site under my news section . Ok, if its quality I dont mind hiring somebody to create a post. Her proposal is as follows and this is her email :-**Basically what I can offer is to write a couple of articles for your News section, something fun and interesting for your visitors which will hopefully drag some traffic your way. I could make them well suited to your site and I could include in each a link to a client of mine - one who wants to be exposed on a good site like yours - and for doing that I can offer you compensation of £33 for each client link - 1 per article. For example, one client is Watches of Switzerland, so I could write an article about ideal wedding gifts for a groom maybe, or something about a perfect Honeymoon destination like Switzerland, and slip a link in there. Other clients include Weddingsite and Lampcommerce - which could be included in something about making a matrimonial home. There are a few stipulations I would need to abide by, like - the article would need to be 500 words, it would need the link to be a 'do follow' link, it would need a picture or two, and it would need a couple of 'sacrifice links' (just links to Wikipedia or something to make it more Google friendly). Question. Is this what a guest article is ? and also is the format ok ? Sorry if this seems a dumb question but still learning guys . King regards to everyone Peter

Any thoughts on how many blog posts per page are enough for SEO? Assume about 800-900 words per post.
