How To Remove Fake Social Media Likes

Hi there Mozzers,
Unfortunately I used a black hat seo company for my website at http://greatedmontonhomes.ca in the past. Over the last while I've been able to clean up quite a few of the bad links going to the site, but the company also engaged in buying fake Facebook likes and Tweets.
Is there any way to clean these up?

Right... and I bet that they would be really embarrassed to say who is "liking them".... or maybe they would spin the explanation into some real BS.

I dont know about such tool, but let me say this: I would not worry too much about purchased likes, as # of likes or followers aren't a piece of Google's algo in determining rank. Rather, I would do a very thorough job cleaning up crappy and unnatural links and those you cannot get rid of disavow and show the genuine efforts you have made in cleaning up the mess. This should position yourself well for a fresh start.

Social Media Integration plugin switch
I am wondering what would happen if I switched my plugin for social media integration on my WordPress site. For instance, if I have been using Sociable for a long time and have accumulated +1's, likes, shares etc. and then I switch to Flare or Social Stickers, what will happen to all my counts? Hello Everyone, When i run a report on Open site explorer, it says that our website has 129 Facebook likes and 129 tweets. However, our website has had over 4k Facebook likes and i imagine much more than 129 mentions of our url on twitter. Can any one shed any light on this? Thanks 🙂

Social Signals, do they help? Looking for a solid Yes or No.
Hi, I've read so much lately about social signals and got basically 3 completely different responses. 1. Yes they are going to over take normal link building in 2013 so get on it. 2. Yeah they do help with rankings but not massively, don't focus to much on it. 3. Na they don't help, you need to gain 1000's of signals and even then it will be a short SERP increase and then back down you go. So... What im looking for now is a straight up Yes or No, should you be on social signals now? Should time spent on gaining social signals be increased? If your doing 10% of your time on social should this percent now shift to a larger percentage? Cheers

I just wanted to see what your opinions were on this. Does being active on social media help with your SEO efforts. I'm not talking about having a link to your website on your Facebook page, but in general commenting on news stories and having conversations.
