Submission Question for MOZ Local - Potential Issue with Submission and Facebook
-
I will be setting up a MOZ Local account for a client with two locations. My question/concern with the facebook page matching up with the information submitted for the business. This plastic surgery practice has two locations but their facebook page only allows for one address. Could the secondary location submission possibly be rejected due to the address not matching the information on the facebook page?
Thanks for your help!

Hey There!
I'm glad you've asked about this. From your description, it sounds to me like you may not actually be running the 'right' type of Facebook page for the businesses in question. Moz Local validates against Facebook Place pages only - not social/brand-type pages. In order for validation to succeed, you would need to have a unique Facebook Place for each of business locations. Facebook Place pages can typically be identified by the fact that they have:
-
Reviews
-
A map
-
Complete name, address, phone number, website
-
Visits (not just likes)
If you discover that you need to change the type of Facebook page for a business, you can investigate this directly with Facebook by going to:
https://www.facebook.com/help/343548832389235/
Click on the heading ‘How do I add a map or address to my page?’ to see Facebook’s guidelines for changing the type of page.
Alternatively, we can validate against a Google+ Local/Google My Business page, instead of Facebook, but likewise, each location will need to have a unique page, and the pages must be postcard-verified with Google in order for us to see them.
Hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. If you need to show me the Facebook page in question, and don't want to post it publicly, you can PM me. You can also start a ticket at our Help Hub for private assistance.

Moz Local Review Management/Customer Feedback help, tutorials, anything? MOZ do you even like your own tools???
I am STUNNED and frustrated that a great tool like Moz Local has the great feature like Review Management/Customer Feedback and have ALMOST ZERO content, tutorials, FAQs, or easily found content that quickly explains some important details. You don't have ANYTHING findable to help me explain to employers or fellow new SEOs how to implement YOUR OWN TOOL. Why? WHY??? • I have multiple locations signed up for complete features - want to share individual location with individual property managers - how? • Exports show "recommendation" as "true" or "false" which I understand - but where in your dashboard is this explained? • I want to customize my property review report/export - I don't need a lot of those columns which are duplicate info or unknown to the property managers. Possible? Seriously - should not be this difficult to track down info/direction/shareable info for YOUR OWN TOOL!

Does Moz Local update/correct business listings?
Moz Local distributes your business listing to the important data providers, but what if your business information is already in their database? Does Moz Local update this info for me, or am I still required to go through the manual process of doing this myself on the data providers website (for example, Yelp or Hotfrog)?

Should I use Moz Local?
I have put the time in to review all our business listings and updated it individually. Are there more advantages in using Moz Local besides the convenience? For those that use it, what else have you found to be beneficial? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks,

Q: At what point in time should I submit a "corrected" NAP to MOZ Local in the process of cleaning up NAP in the directory ecosystem?
1- Can I submit a "corrected" NAP to Moz Local and trust that all the incorrect info in the entire directory ecosystem will get corrected? If the answer is yes, how long would this take? 2- Should I change the incorrect NAP listings in the "other" directories that MOZ doesn't have an agreement with, before I submit a "corrected" NAP to MOZ.? Thanks for the info:-)

Moz Local Duplicating Street Address
Hi, Whenever I done a lookup for a client we were hoping to get on Moz Local, the listing that appeared has a repeating street address. For Example 123 Some Street, 123 Some Street, Some City, Some ZIP Code I have checked Google Plus / Google My Business and no such repetition is there. If anyone has any input on the matter it would be greatly appreciated.

Does Moz track mobile queries?
Sorry if this has been asked before (searched to no avail), and it's probably a dumb question... but if you're still reading... 🙂 I'd like to determine which pages of my site show up on MOBILE searches (i.e. user is on an iPhone). I know that Moz shows searches "from" a certain location, but my understanding (which may be wrong!) is that the SERP on a mobile device is sometimes different from a desktop search. Ultimately, I'm trying to decide whether to create a whole different layout for my home page ONLY for mobile devices, and if virtually everyone finding my site on a mobile phone would see that page first. I figured if Moz tracked "mobile SERP rankings", then I could simply see if any pages besides the home page are ranking for my targeted terms. Any thoughts or clarifications greatly appreciated! 🙂 ~ Scott

Linking Google Business Page to Moz Local?
I'm working on updating an existing Moz Local account, and one of the listings says that there is "No listing found on Google." However, there is a Google Business page for this listing, it just isn't linked to my account. And the only option Moz gives me is to "create listing" on Google, which takes me to the page to create a Google business listing. So my question is this: how do I link an existing Google Business page to a Moz local listing that is already mostly set up?
