SEO Conferences...
-
Hi,
Besides MozCon, what other SEO conferences do people recommend? I'm specifically interested in:
1. SEO
2. Local SEO
3. Conversion Design Strategies
Thanks.
-
And then there's the whole globally sized SMX conferences...have been to many and spoken at the ones up here in Toronto too...well worth the time/costs too!
-
I am planning on SearchLove London in 2015, really looking forward to it.
-
-
- MozCon and Searchlove are definitely one of the best SEO conferences.
- Sorry can't help you here.
- MeasureFest in London is also pretty good.
-
David Mihm and Mike Blumenthal run the Local University group of great SEO experts and yes this is WELL worth the time to attend...been at 2 myself and loved learning something new at each one!

Pubcon is definitely a must go! I've been floored by presentations at it a couple times. I would also recommend SearchLove. There's actually a Local SEO conference in Seattle this February. I think Moz is remotely attached to it, but it may just be a member of their team.

I have been to PubCon (a large conference covering a lot of things) and Conversion Conference (which might be of interest to you because of the focus on conversion) and I liked them both. Next year I am going to MozCon, which I am very excited about!
-
I didn't even know they had a London one. Thanks again for the info!
-
Nope - I went to the London one, but really want to go to Mozcon next year.
-
I was thinking about SearchLove, the one in SD, right? It was good? I'm thinking of going next year.
-
I have just been to first major conference - Searchlove. It was amazing and I would highly recommend them. Will be back next year
cover a wide range of topics and have some great speakers ( including moz speakers)

Although we no longer attend these conferences, Reach Local seems to have great information as far as reaching local SEO goals. Constant Contact is another great one to attend if you are looking to reach out to your customers. It helps to bring more attention to your business.

How to increase pageviews for a news website when all the most common SEO strategies were already used, and they´ve reached a plateau of visits?
These clients are regional news’ websites which have already reached their apex of visits - most of these results were linked to the SEO strategies developed by our team in the past few years. But now, the most common SEO strategies don't show the same effect: a higher number of pageviews. What kind of strategies you suggest to increase this number? Thank you!

Do I learn (SEO) differently than you?
Hi, I learn best talking and listening and bouncing ideas off of other people in real time. I've done a little posting on Moz.com and a little last year at Mozcon but I would welcome more opportunities to do this face-to-face and maybe even meet people from the Midwest doing SEO. If you're like me in this way and you'd like to meet while at Mozcon 2013 in a couple of weeks let me know. I plan to be at each class and each after-seminar event. Meeting up would be great. Thanks! SEO MozCon 2012
Hello All, I'm new here in SEOmoz and I'm a Pro member. I currently have a couple of clients and growing. 🙂 My question is, I recently got an email about the SEO MozCon 2012 in Seattle going on in July. For those that have been to one of these in the past, can you tell me if this is worth the investment? Can you convince me why I should go? Thanks in advance! Jocelyn

Can anyone recommend Boston/New England SEO conferences/events?
One of my goals for 2012 is to network more, so I'm trying to find some SEO conferences to attend this year. Unfortunately I don't have much of a travel budget, so I'm looking for events/conferences in the Boston/New England area. I'm open to both large conferences and small local events. Are there any Boston specific groups I should join?

Where can I find an SEO mentor?
I've been having difficulty finding an SEO mentor that can answer my questions and rate the strategy that I'm currently using, as well as bouncing ideas off their experience. Basically, most SEO companies will not want to do this, and will more likely want to sign you up for a monthly plan in link building, however I want to learn SEO on my own with my team, and many companies in Sydney, I guess, see us as competition and don't want to reveal their 'secrets'. I've read a bunch of books on SEO and we are starting our SEO campaign now, however having someone to speak to now and again to get feedback on our strategy would be invaluable, however is proving very difficult to find. On one hand, I know I just have to take action towards link building and other things,

however on the other side, it would be good to have someone to give a helping hand and bounce ideas off who has experience. If someone is interested in becoming a mentor for myself as I work to build my digital agency in Sydney pleaes get in contact with me. The pay is $30 - $40p/h depending on experience. Regards0 -
