MOZ Local

Is MOZ Local considered a direct competitor to Yext? My company currently uses Yext for its local directory listings, but it is very expensive. Is MOZ Local a superior substitute?

Great answer Garret! Moz Local provides a little bit of a different service than Yext, by updating the core data aggregators that the primary local search engines rely on for their baseline data. While we are not a direct competitor, we certainly do offer a similar service.

I have used both Yext and Moz Local as well as a few others. Moz Local is without-a-doubt the best option. Less expensive, better management dashboard, more control over your listings. Neither services goes through and actually cleans up duplicate or inconsistent listings, but Moz Local does a great job of notifying you of those so that you can handle it. Yext might have improved since I used it last, but we had a terrible time with duplicate listings and Yext was no help at all in finding, claiming and cleaning them up.
I use Moz Local for all of my clients now and highly recommend it. Local listing optimization will always need to have a personal management element to it, but Moz Local does a great job of eliminating as much as the hand-on work as possible. You will not regret making the switch!

Unsolved How can I cancel my Local subscription?
I signed up for Moz Local with an annual subscription and I don't have a store front, so most of it is not relevant to me.

Moz Local - Multiple Business Customers
Hi,
Moz Local | | rufo
I've looked at Moz Local as it now seems to include UK based submissions.
It looks great. However as I have a number of customers that would benefit from the service I wanted to know if MOZ lets you submit numerous businesses or is it just for the business that you have your account with. I really want to use the service for customers but I'm not sure whether its just a single company with the possibility of multiple addresses or if its multiple businesses. Thanks in advance,

Moz Local Duplicating Street Address
Hi, Whenever I done a lookup for a client we were hoping to get on Moz Local, the listing that appeared has a repeating street address. For Example: 123 Some Street, 123 Some Street, Some City, Some ZIP Code I have checked Google Plus / Google My Business and no such repetition is there, however, under the Incomplete section it's showing Google as the one that's incorrect, but when I click through to Google the address is correct - see attached images... I have gone through all the other listings and they are correct from what I can see through the Moz Report. Also, this is happening with more than one address that I have checked - see attached images. If anyone has any input on the matter it would be greatly appreciated. I have posted this before and got no definitive answer, it then hit page two and we all know what happens when it does that. 4FwVXZi.png OEF0JzZ.png CoiU0tt.png jrKdHYU.png 3Rnm6Jz.png mVtALyn.png

Moz Local Address Issues
I've been having some issues with addresses recently that I've been submitting to Moz Local and I'd like to see if other people are having similar issues and how they are resolving them... So Moz local requires you to have any Suite or Floor info on line 2 and I am having a hard time making this work with Google. It seems like they always add it to line 1 and when I call to get it fix it is like pulling teeth to get it right. There has been a couple times i've had to fight to tell them its not formatted right. All this trouble has really made me think about if it is worth it using the service if this is going to be an issue.

Closing Old Locations with Moz Local
I'm sure the answer is pretty simple, but how are we supposed to report an old location as closed in Moz Local? I'd like to mark an old address as closed in all of the major data providers. Of course, I can claim the new location, but I do I need to claim the old location and then somehow mark it closed? When I do a search with Moz, it gives me five results for a doctor who has a single location now (I'm not posting the actual name because I just don't want this forum to appear for searches for the doctor): <address>Dr. Doctor Name, DMD Verified

Moz Local - "Not Submitted"
After a successful CSV submission to Moz Local, the only one that isn't submitted is Acxiom. It says "not submitted, not updated". Why is this? Will it just take more time? Is there an issue and if so, how can I rectify it? Thank you.
