Can I add the Adwords conversion tracker inside a button instead of a thank you page?

TIA!

Hi Hutch42,
Here's what we did.
What do you think? We haven't implemented this yet. It's still in planning stage.

First you will need to create an event.
You may need to wait until this event is populating in GA to continue, but then you will need to go to the Admin panel of GA and create a Goal. Select the option for Event here and add in your goal's details.
Assuming GA & AdWords are linked: Once your goal is registering in GA, it will appear in the "Import Conversion from Analytics" tab in Tools > Conversions and that will allow you to bid against it as a conversion.

Hi Jasmine,
How do you do this?
-
I'm not sure about the specifics around using the AdWords code for this (you may need additional code to tell the conversion tracker t, but here's the way I'm most familiar going about it: you will need to make the button click a goal in Analytics then port it over to AdWords.
-
Yes you can, make sure that you don't just add it into the button but you use an onclick command to call a script that will run and place the code onto the page. Be careful because if you do it this way it will send a conversion on the button click even if it does not lead to the proper conversion (such as if you placed it on a form submit button but the user had not completely filled out the form).

Is there way to have several AdWords Ad for the same keyphrase?
Hi guys. Can I have 2-3-4 ads come up for the same keyphrase? The situation is: I'm bidding for client's company name, there is no other competition (nobody else bids for client's company name), I'm bidding only for exact match and phrase match. Is there way to have, let's say 4 ads come up when somebody searches for exact matched company name? P.S. I know it's weird question, all this is done under reputation management for this company, I'm trying to occupy as much space at the top of the 1st SERPs, so people don't see ROR article in organic position #4. If you have other suggestions - please feel free to put it here. (SEO is being done, not-index pages are being optimized to try to come up as several organic results, backlink building is in process, Social media profiles are being optimized as well). I'm just trying to have some temporary "fix".

Set-up remarketing through Analytics or Adwords?
I am setting up a remarketing campaign and wonder if anyone has any thoughts on whether to do this via Analytics or Adwords? Doing it through Analytics appears to be more straight forward - and I like the idea of broadening the data set that comes from an Analytics report. I therefore I wonder if it comes down to personal preference? Would be grateful to any thoughts for or against.

Hi guys, I have an 85% bounce rate on a ppc term and ad, vs a 51% bounce rate for the same term via organic. Same term, same landing page. Any thoughts why? Cheers, Jez
