When you think you are doing it right but the results are quite the opposite.

I have a website that just doesn't rank well against what at first glance appears to be a lower quality competitor site. So far - I, and "no one" else can work out why they sit above me in search. I have to concede and respect that they must be doing something right, but what? I just can't get to the bottom of it, and I've been trying for two years!....
Sometimes we can't see the wood for the trees and right now that seems to be me. I genuinely just want to know what I'm missing.

Both www. and non www. versions of the site work

I also found this site - is this yours or someone else? Reason being, this is the exact content that lives on your bee removal page.

Your robots.txt is an accident waiting to happen - check out Moz's best practices

I would also use Open Site Explorer and Majestic to take a look at your backlink profile

It looks like random domains (some irrelevant and others stuffed with keywords) are redirecting to your site

This could look potentially spammy
I would take care of all duplicate content and technical issues first. Then, I would look at my backlink profile - what can be cleaned up? Removed? Disavowed? So on and so forth.
Then I would look at my competitor's backlink profile. What is it about their content that other (RELEVANT) websites like and are linking to? Am I doing that on my site? What do I need to change?
Hopefully this helps, if I find anything else I will let you know - this was just a quick skim.

I presume your site is waspkilluk.co.uk. When I went to your site, the content doesn't load immediately, but rather only when you scroll. Can you just double check what Google actually sees when the page loads - in webmaster tools try fetching and rendering the homepage.
Everything may be fine, but there is something niggling me that maybe google doesn't actually see your site properly.

Strange Key Word Results on Google
I'm trying to rank for the keywords "Chicago General Contractor" My landing page is https://3fconstruction.net/chicago-general-contractor/ However, in Google a variant page on my site (How to apply for a General Contractor's license - https://3fconstruction.net/how-to-apply-general-contractors-license-chicago/) that is optimized for "General Contractor License Chicago" is coming up first and the target page does not even seem to appear. Google is NOT showing up the right META DESCRIPTION
Hi, Recently I changed titles and meta descriptions of some pages. The problem is that google have updated the titles but not the meta descriptions.. Ive also checekd the source code of the google cached version of the pages crawled and the meta description reflect the changes i did...but the changes don't appear in google. Do you have some solution/advice for the issue? Tx so Much

I've just manually edited all the page titles and meta descriptions on a site, when will this show in Google results?
I've just manually edited all of the page titles, meta descriptions and optimised the copy on a client's site. I submitted this for a new crawl on Google via Webmaster Tools but when I do a Google search the old versions are still showing. Will it still take a few weeks for the new versions to show even though Google has crawled it via Webmaster?

Page Analysis - Helping Product Pages Outrank Search Results Pages
Hi! We have a lot of our search results pages that have been indexed and outrank our product pages and in some instance the actual product pages barely show up at all. Here is an example query that includes our brand name: http://goo.gl/cgB6W So, we have loads of actual product pages, video pages, etc that should be showing up here, but are not and this is just one example. Unfortunately, there are a LOT of these Search Results pages out there and utlimately we would love to de-index them altogether, but it's going to have to be carefully done. So, was wondering if anyone would want to check out one of our product pages and give any feedback as to what we could change to possibly improve rank or to make them more search friendly or hopefully to help them rise above these indexed search results pages? I think I`ve caught some kind of google filter on my site.
What if the PA and the DA on my domain and the entire site is 1. Most of the pages on the site were empty or not unique. Now I`m adding new pages with unique content. I have only one position in the top 10. The remaining 15 positions are above the top. What should I do to increase my PA & DA and to have top 10 positions by other keywords?
