Translating other people blogpost to other languange and post on our blog

Hi, I am new to the blogging industries. I just want to know if Google penalized me if I translate other people blog post from English to other language and post it on my blog? Please let me know what you guys think. Thank you in advance for your time.

I would make sure you mind your canonical tag, but I would also look into opportunities that search engines provide such hreflang and language tags. If you have translated variations of your site, you can also look into country targeting for both Google and Bing.

I don't know if it was just one post, but if you don't have permission and no matter what language you translate it to, that is plagiarism.
Even if you have their permission, Google is very good at translation so they are likely to know if this has been posted somewhere before.
You really need to be creating unique content rather than relying on what has already been said somewhere else before. This is not a practice that is good for SEO.

Firstly it is not something to be encouraged copy someone's blog post. I am assuming you have permission to re-post. Duplicate content is confusing for the search engine, which page to show to the searcher? The below link details duplicate content issues.
In your instance I would imagine that if someone was to type in a query in the language of the blog post - then that may mean your blog post would be returned as the most relevant to answer the query.

Does posting frequency matter?
Right now my company is blogging five days a week, which is way more than our competitors and most other companies do. Back last September, we dropped our blogging frequency to once a week or so, and our organic conversions dropped. I had ascribed that to the drop in our blogging frequency, but now I have my doubts: maybe it was a rise in competition, or part of a larger drop that has been going for over a year and a half. My question to you is: what has been your experience when your posting frequency (or your clients' posting frequency) has dropped? Have you seen a drop in rankings, or have you held fast? Today, I was reading Google's official article on Multi Regional website and use of duplicate content. Right now, We are working on 4 different blogs for following regions. And, We're writing unique content for each blog. But, I am thinking to use one content / subject for all 4 region blogs. Recently, We have published one article on USA website. http://www.bannerbuzz.com/blog/choosing-the-right-banner-for-your-advertisement/ And, We want to publish this article / blog on UK, AUS & CA blog without making any changes. I have read following paragraph on Google's official guidelines and It's inspire me to make it happen. Which is best solution for it? Websites that provide content for different regions and in different languages sometimes create content that is the same or similar but available on different URLs. This is generally not a problem as long as the content is for different users in different countries. While we strongly recommend that you provide unique content for each different group of users, we understand that this may not always be possible. There is generally no need to "hide" the duplicates by disallowing crawling in a robots.txt file or by using a "noindex" robots meta tag. However, if you're providing the same content to the same users on different URLs (for instance, if both example.de/ and example.com/de/ show German language content for users in Germany), you should pick a preferred version and redirect (or use the rel=canonical link element) appropriately. In addition, you should follow the guidelines on rel-alternate-hreflang to make sure that the correct language or regional URL is served to searchers.

Difference in Forum and Blog for SEO
I was pushing my employer to agree to switch to add a blog onto our site and he asked me, what is the difference between the blog and a forum for SEO purposes. Besides the general look and feel and a forum being more community oriented, is a blog better than a forum for seo, and if so, why? My eCommerce cart is BigCommerce. It is not possible to use my domain name to add a blog on there server. Onsite Blogging Vs Guest Blogging
Hey all! I have a limited amount of time allocated to writing instructional blog posts for my company. When I complete an article I can do whatever I want with it: pitch it as a guest post on an industry blog, or post it on my company's onsite blog. I know there's not a magical solution regarding the percentage of time one should devote to guest blogging v. focusing on the company blog, but I figured I'd throw the conundrum out to the Mozzers anyway. In your opinion, how many of your writing resources should be devoted to guest posts, and how many should be devoted to maintaining the onsite blog? What if our onsite blog isn't currently receiving a lot of traffic? Thanks! Meg

Simple question: How many words optimal for blog posts
Hello, We're adding a blog to one of our sites. How many words should be in a blog post for it to be optimal for the search engines? If it varies from industry to industry, please give a couple of examples. We were going to do 500 words but that seems a bit long. Thanks!
