Multiple Blog Postings

Hi!
Will posting more than one blog a day help with SEO? For example: I’d like to post 3 times a day if it will help.
Thank you!

We both posted at the same time. We both recommended Rand's post and I like how you say that sometimes the site or the niche might not require sending out the entire United States Navy.

I would post once every three days and put three times the effort into the post - to increase the quality of the site.
I could post three short, quickly-written posts per day. Instead, I think that it is better to post once or twice per week and put all of that work into a small number of very high quality pages -- pages that will be among the best on the web for their topic. That's what I do.
I think that Rand's recent post explains this idea well.... Why Good Unique Content Needs to Die
-
Hi there
There's really no yes or no answer to this. It really depends on your audience, how much content they consume, and also how often you think you can write without repeating or creating duplicate content.
If you feel you can write a quality blog post everyday that will help your users in an entertaining and informative way without burning yourself (but mostly them) out, then I say go for it.
To me, it doesn't sound very necessary unless you have a huge site with a huge audience that spans multiple facets of your industry, but I don't know, only you know that.
I would focus more heavily on writing unique content that has a clear goal in mind for the user. I would distribute that content more meaningful ways that actually reaches your target audience and they can see it when they need to.
If you can nail the steps above down, then creating THAT much content isn't necessary, because the pieces you ARE creating are thought out and have a clear agenda and are easily measurable.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

What's more valuable, a Blog or a Forum, and how to integrate?
We want to start a blog or forum (maybe eventually both) and are unsure what is the best way to publish it from an SEO standpoint. If the blog is published on our domain, like domain.com/blog then that obviously helps the site but if the base site is a for-profit business wouldn't it get less credibility, eyeballs, links as opposed to if you started the blog as it's own separate community on a separate domain and then just strategically linked to the for profit site (sponsorship links)? Essentially the question is, if I'm the Lucky Soday Company, do I start a Blog on the Lucky Soda website, or do I start a separate website to grow a soft drink enthusiast community blog / forum? I would guess a blog has more SEO potential than a discussion forum?

Best practice recommendations for enabling multiple languages on your site?
I find that the advice for multi-language sites is always tied with multi-region, but what about US only sites that want to be multi-lingual? What are the best practice recommendations there? HREFLANG tags necessary? TLDs? Do you need to purchase yoursite.us , yoursite.sp , etc.. or would yoursite.com/en yoursite.com/sp suffice? Should the extensions be region based even if the language is the only difference?

Blog subdomain not redirecting
Over the last few weeks I have been focused on fixing high and medium priority issues, as reported by the Moz crawler, after a recent transition to WordPress. I've made great progress, getting the high priority issues down from several hundred (various reasons, but many duplicates for things like non-www and www versions) to just five last week. And then there's this weeks report. For reasons I can't fathom, I am suddenly getting hundreds of duplicate content pages of the form http://blog.<domain>.com</domain> (being duplicates with the http://www.<domain>.com</domain> versions). I'm really unclear on why these suddenly appeared. I host my own WordPress site ie WordPress.org stuff. In Options / General everything refers to http://www.<domain>.com</domain> and has done for a number of weeks. I have no idea why the blog versions of the pages have suddenly appeared. FWIW, the non-www version of my pages still redirect to the www version, as I would expect. I'm obviously pretty concerned by this so any pointers greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mark

Should I Remove Dates From My Old Posts
I have a web site that has content about home improvement topics but the site has no new content since 2010. All the posts on the wordpress site have the date which are all 2010 and prior. Is there a downside in terms of search engine rankings to remove the dates or changing the dates? What are the risks to removing the dates? Could I lose rankings if I do this? Do you have any personal experience with this situation?
