"We were unable to validate the following listings with Google or Facebook"
-
Hi,
I'm trying to submit the Moz Local service and it keeps saying unable to validate the listing even though our Facebook and Google accounts have been provided and match the listing. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be struggling to find our listing for some reason.
-
Currently, Moz Local doesn't accommodate service area businesses because a number of our partners don't accept an address of that format. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we do need a full street address for the business in order to publish it.
-
What do you do for a business that is a SAB?
-
Thanks, I think I'm talking to you about this by email too, assuming you get the replies
-
Hmmm, that sounds rather peculiar. Would you be able to send a link to the relevant Google+ or Facebook page over to help@moz.com so we can take a look? Thanks!
-
Thanks but I've just checked and we meet all those guidelines!

Hi there!
We've got a little blurb about that in the FAQ tab of this page on our Help Hub: https://moz.com/help/guides/local/listingI'll slap it in here as well
Facebook
-
Must be a Facebook local business page. An easy way to see if your page is a place/local business is to see if it has the following: About, Address, Hours, Contact and Reviews.
-
Make sure that your business’s name, address and phone number are listed exactly as you would like them to appear in your Moz Local listing
-
Ensure that the page is publicly accessible (Check with incognito browser to see if the page is available prior to logging into Facebook. Also, possibly give a screenshot of a functionally configured Facebook page’s privacy settings.)
-
Make sure to have at least 2 check-ins to verify the physical location of your business. Not sure what to do here? Head to Facebook's resources to see how to let people check in and how you can check in.
Google+
-
Must be a Google+ local business page. Look for the ‘Review Summary’ section on the page. Some other things to look for: Verified check mark next to the page image, Address, Hours and Reviews. Here's an example of what the page looks like.
-
Make sure that your business’s name, address and phone number are listed exactly as you would like them to appear in your Moz Local listing. Note that service-area businesses (SAB) without their full address listed will run into complications with Moz Local since not all of our partners support SAB's.
-
Must be a listed as a “verified local business". Remember that check mark we mentioned earlier? That's what you need!

Updating Local Listings that Moz Local Won't Update completely?
I use Moz local and have for over a year, so my profiles should all be spot on by now. How can you update some inconsistent info that Moz does't provide or is not updating. I have tried to go in and claim some of the listings that the information isn't filled in properly or the ones that don't have the categories filled out that I know Moz Local won't do, but it is saying it is managed by Moz and won't let me claim it. What can I do.

Has anyone found a way to change the Google page linked to a Moz local account AFTER it was purchased?
Before realized that the Moz listing should have the correct GMB account connected to it, a few local listings were purchased. Is there a way to change the GMB page it is pulling data from and sending out to directories? Thanks!

3 Locations = 1 Facebook Page or = 3 Facebook Pages
What is the best practice? I have a client with 3 locations with an actual address and not virtual. He has 1 Facebook page with the address and phone number of the main location. Do I add locations in Facebook on that main FB page or do I create 2 more FB pages to have one for each location?

How do I claim a YP listing with the wrong number listed?
I have a listing in Moz Local associated with a YP listing. Most items on the listing are correct but the number listed is not one of our numbers. When I try to claim the listing they want to call the number listed and give them a code. Of course we can't answer the phone because it doesn't ring on our end. How do I either change the number or claim the listing in another way?

Updated validation changes
I want to submit a listing, but the validation screen indicated Google has an incorrect phone number (which was only listed as an alternate contact number). I've removed the number from the Google My Business page, but the correction is not listed in the Moz Local Validation page. What should I do to get the updated Google listing to be recognized by the Moz validation process? Thanks!

MozLocal Listing Results
Hi there, Within the last week, I've signed up for MozLocal with the intent of improving our listing score (we're currently listed at a 67%); I'm wondering how long it generally takes before I see any improvements to this score. Thanks!

Moz Local Validation
I am trying to list my business under Moz Local. I have filled out all of the documentation and had no errors. However I am stuck on Validation. It says "We were unable to validate the following listings on either Google or Facebook Places." I have checked both my google and facebook pages they are up to date with the most current address. Any ideas where the problem may be?
