If your brands are enterprise level, Hootsuite has extremely impressive, but expensive tools.
Rival IQ is the best for keeping up with the competition.
Rowfeeder is slick for pulling in hashtags and the like to comb through.
Meshfire's doing interesting things around finding influencers and creating Twitter lists for you, but depends on size and scope.

Sorry was in a hurry to get this posted before my tea break
We want to keep an eye on our brands & company for mentions and negative social media activity, also need to keep an eye on competitors.
Not quite so interested in the analytic stage of the moment.
We are busy growing a major brands and haven't got time to do it manually.

- What are your key points of interest regarding analytics (meaning, what do you want monitored and to what detail)?
- Are you running campaigns, advertisements, etc. that require monitoring through the software/tool?
- Do you have any other guidelines, restrictions, or specifications for your needs?

Facebook Likes, Google +1s tactic - is this a good idea
Hello, For our eCommerce site, we're considering doing the following: When people call in to place an order by phone, we take their order and tell them while we have them on the phone that if they click the Facebook Like button and Google +1 button on our site's home page, we'll knock $3 off their total. We would just show them where the buttons are and refresh our screen to make sure the count went up by one like and one +1 when the customer said that they pressed the buttons. Then, we would continue with their phone order and just knock off $3.00 I may not do this just because it may be grey hat, but it seems 100% safe forever. If you recommend against doing this, can you think of any 100% white hat way to do the same thing? Thanks.

Tool to get all the Social Shares for a Domain
Does anyone know of a tool that can get you the total, or close to it, social shares an entire domain has received? I know of... http://www.sharedcount.com/ - but this only gets shares for the entered URL not the entire domain. http://www.pagesort.com/ - this seems to dig a little deeper but not deep enough. I know opensite explorer gets some data as well but still seems very limited.

Can I change URL structure and maintain social signals?
I have recently updated an area of our website that had lots of content and some great social signals such as tweets, pins and facebook likes. The URL structure has changed and URLs have been redirected, but I'm wondering if we have now lost all the social signals? No pins, likes etc show on lots of popular content since the URLs have changed. Is there any way to preserve these or are they lost forever? Thanks in advance

Social Medial Plugins For Wordpress - G+1 & Facebook Like buttons that don't slow down site
I have a wordpress website and have been trying to figure out the best social media plugins to use...........That DON'T dramatically slow down the page speed load times. Does anyone have recommendations? What social media plugins have you used that don't have a huge negative impact on page load times?

What is the best Practice for Adding Social Buttons to your Sites from SEO Perspective?
Hey Guys, As you all know there are many social buttons out there that can be added to your website. Facebook Like button, Twitter's Tweet and Follow buttons, Google +1, and AddThis buttons are just a few to mention. All of these buttons can be customized, eg. you may choose to point your FB Like button to your homepage, to a specific inner page, or to your Facebook Brand Page. Same with your +1 button. Moreover, you may choose to add Twitter and Google+ Follow buttons to your site's pages, and so on. My questions are very simple: Is there any best practice for adding social buttons to your site from SEO perspective? if yes, Which social buttons to add? Social Media For Doctors Office Help!
I have a client that I am doing web-work for...I recommended for him to claim his Facebook Place page as well as create a twitter account. He's a little skeptical and doesn't think that a doctors office needs a Facebook and twitter page. I strongly disagree with him and would like to show him some facts. Social Media Convergence Issues
Hello and Good Morning, I have a tech convergence question... In our social media package we have listed that we will subscribe to hubpages and scribd. a lot of these services do the same thing (twitter vs identi.ca, color vs instagram, gowalla vs fourquare, ect), what are some of the better services to use and why? We have our favorites but they may not necessarily be the most effective. thanks!
