Keyword in Domain AND Title. Yes or No?

We're working on a new buildout, and this one is really important to us. We've put a lot of resources into it. Before we launch, we want the structure to be just right... and this one question is nagging at me. How to structure urls? Consider these two options.
The fictitious domain is "icesurfing.org". Including all 50 states in the keyword, there are nearly one million searches per month for "ice surfing [state]". We have a page for each state to focus on this traffic. But how would you structure the urls and titles?
One concern is that the duplicate keywords in option 2 seem redundant, and a little spammy. When presented with google search, the matching tags are not as clean.
- Texas - IceSurfing.org
- Ice Surfing Texas - IceSurfing.org
But Yoast automatically suggests option 2. Is this really the best practice? Is there are definitive article on this?

I was writing about URLs. I think it's fine to have your brand name in most or all title tags, though I'm not sure I'd apply that to an exact-match domain like yours without adding the .com too (as in " - IceSurfing.com" not "- Ice Surfing".

Like I said, you have the option to manually put your site name (icesurfing.com) at the end of every title in Yoast - so that Yoast actually counts it when giving you a red, yellow, green analysis for each page/post. There is a way to turn off the automatic feature (which, if automatic, Yoast will not count it, dinging you for not having your keyword in the title, despite the fact that once it's published, it actually will be). I hope that makes sense?

If you had one page about ice surfing I could understand putting it in the URL. But if you expand this strategy out to all pages on a domain about ice surfing then it is going to get pretty redundant. I'd go with #1.

I agree, the second is not as clean. But what is better for google? Keyword: Ice Surfing Nevada
Yoast says #2 is better because the exact match for the keyword is in the title.
#1 looks cleaner, but we're relying on the domain name to complete the keyword. Most of the keyword (Ice Surfing) has been left out of the page title and slug.

I've had a similar scenario with Yoast - re: adding the site name (in this case, site URL) to the title automatically, but not really registering that fact when you use the plug-in on each page/post.
If it were me, I'd advise against 2, because you're right, it does look kind of redundant & spammy. OR, if you want, you can turn the setting off that automatically adds the site name at the end of every single one of your titles, and then just add it manually so that Yoast does register it. In WP, these settings can be found in the Titles & Metas section of your Yoast SEO plugin (accessible from the menu on the left, right under SEO's dashboard).

Problem with meta title
My web is http://www.canexel.es, is supported by wordpress and I'm having some problems with the meta title. Google SERPS shows “Canexel: Casas de madera canadienses“ when I config the snipped to show “Casas de Madera canadienses – Canexel” I use SEO yoast plugin. I dont know why it is showing the name of the company followed by a colon at the beginning. The home page is the only one that is having that problem. Thx!

Domain sub-directory not performing
We've restructured our site over the past 6 months and I'm going to run you through the whole scenario as I would love any feedback you guys have. 6 months ago we had 2 websites http://boulders-climbing.com (climbing facility) and http://bouldersuk.com (shop). We made the decision to merge the websites and leverage the SEO on 1 site. Although boulders-climbing.com was the older and more established domain, the company wanted to use bouldersuk.com so a whole new website was designed and boulders-climbing.com was redirected to bouldersuk.com. The climbing facility website now sits at bouldersuk.com and the shop was moved to bouldersuk.com/climbing-shop with 301's for all shop pages. This has lead to a significant a increase in domain rank for bouldersuk.com and much better rankings for the climbing centre related terms. The desired effect has been achieved, well half of it anyway. The search rankings for bouldersuk.com/climbing-shop have never reached the previous heights and are still heading in the wrong direction, even though the overall domain ranking has increased by 50%. What can I do to get the SEO for /climbing-shop working again? We're adding fresh content to our latest news with links through to products and categories, all category pages have A grades. we are attempting to link build but it is much more difficult for e-commerce than for the facilities pages. Is the SEO of the main site hampering(masking?) the /climbing-shop? All feedback on the whole process would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Impact of rogue keyword in content
I have a page that is optimised - title, URL, content etc for the chosen keywords. However, within the content are some batches of bullet point text that has repeated text throughout. So for example I have 5 instances of my chosen keyword within the content and 24 instances of the two word text within the bullet points. Does this kind of scenario have any impact on ranking?

Keyword in URL?
I have a website that has been live for about 8yrs. I do not have any significant rankings for my main keywords but am now starting SEO on my site. I am contemplating changing the url to contain the main keyword prefixed by my brand name. Any views on the ranking benefits and or CTR benefits.

Website title question
Say you have a website url of a rather competitive keyword phrase, would it be beneficial for me to go ahead and name my site title the same as the url? And also should my site title go through every page, or should i consider having slight variations throughout the pages? for example: page title | site title or page title| slight varation of title on sub page? **edit - to further expand on the question a bit also, if my google places has the company name on _there - would it be effective to go ahead and use the company name in my site title? _ _Also if i have the main keyword in the breadcrumb as the home, does that effect my SEO credibility if it shows up on all the pages? _
