100+ PPC Landing Pages Linking To Main URL... Hurting My SEO?
-
I started another thread around this question but don't think I was articulate enough. So, I have over 100 various landing pages that I use for targeted PPC. I don't really have any interest in these pages amassing their own SEO value; I simply use them for my PPC accounts. However, they all link back to my home page. Is this considered a link farm? And, if so, is the best option to simply add a nofollow attribute to all the links pointing to my home page? Would there be any reason to keep the links as follow? I don't think they're giving my site any SEO value but I'm concerned that they could be harming it instead.
Any expert advice would be much appreciated.

To answer your questions:
1. Yes, these are all different domains (ie. southcarolina-waterbottles.biz, tennessee-waterbottles.biz) but all these domains are hosted on the same ip address.
2. Yes, all the domains basically have the same content and the same links to the same pages on my main url. The only difference on the pages is some verbage that distinguishes each by state.
3. These pages do NOT link to each other; only to my main urls.
According to my SEMRUSH backlink audit, which most of these links show up on, these links have high toxicity markers, and most of them are identified by their ip network. I'm worried that Google has identified these and may be doing more than just devaluing them, which would really be the best case scenario. I think they may possibly be harming my overall rankings because of these links. It seems impossible to know.
What do you think, based on the information above?
-
It depends.
I have a few questions.
- Are these links all coming from different domains (e.g. carparts.com/ppc-page, waterbottles.biz/landing-page)?
- Are all these links pointing to the same page on your site?
- Do these pages link to each other? (i.e. waterbottles.biz links to all your other PPC pages and all your other PPC pages link to it).
If the links are coming from different domains, not linking to each other, and linking to different pages on your website, that all looks pretty natural and non-link farmy to me.
The question for me, would be what value do these links to your site deliver? Are they distracting the user from the main call to action? Are you hoping that these links will tell users you provide PPC services? Just curious.

How much website would be worth for SEO?
I have a website that I'm considering selling. It gives no profit, but I think it has decent SEO value. Link explorer report: domain authority = 69, linking domains: 9.8k, inbound links: 44.2m, ranking keywords: 294. Is that any good? Website is about web design, so keywords are also related to it. Would it be useful for SEO links building for other people? I did sell similar website once, but it was about 7-8 years ago and I've sold it for very high 5 digit amount. However things have changed since then in SEO world, so I don't know if today similar website would be worth much. There is so much information out there that contradicts each other, so I think I'd rather ask professionals here.

Has anyone tried Captora? Curious about people's thoughts on potential benefits and risks for SEO.
We talked to a vendor called Captora today and I'm curious if anyone else has tried them. It seems like it's too good to be true and could lead to issues should Google get wise to this tactic. So what are people's thoughts? watch?v=SVSCPrcXXDQ

Internationalization without losing SEO
Hi everyone ! For years we've had our e-commerce site targeting only our Brazilian customers, thus our domain name was domain.com.br . We've built a very strong AdWords account with the URLs within this domain and we've got a considerable SERP positioning as well. Now we've also bought the domain.com (without the country extension ".br"), to target international clients. Our plan is to build the site using the following structure: domain.com/en-US/

domain.com/es-ES/
domain.com/en-GB/ and also domain.com/pt-BR/ (for our brazilian audience). We thing that just dropping off the original domain.com.br and redirecting everything to domain.com/pt-BR/ would not be a good move, as we would need to redo all our AdWords campaigns (the domain is different) and would lose all our reputation/quality score. In terms of SEO I don't know how Google would react with the redirects (if we would keep the quality or not). So our plan is to keep both the domain.com.br and domain.com/pt-BR/ working simultaneously, but then there's the problem of duplicate content. Should we use the "canonical" tag and if so, where should we say the original content is? Has anyone been through this before, ie. expanding a country-level domain to a .com with multiple languages, but keeping the reputation gained by the original language. Thanks for any advice!! P.S. - We've also though about setting up the new structure with subdomains such as en.domain.com , es.domain.com, fr.domain.com, but we though it would work better using subdirectories. Any thoughts on this is also very welcomed.0 -
PPC strategies in a competitive ecommerce market
Hello, What's the top 5 things to keep in mind when doing PPC in a competitive ecommerce market? Our competitors are buying PPC leads based on gathering long term customers that only have to get bought once and then they are repeat customers with no more cost. Thus, PPC cost is through the roof in this niche. Anyways, what's the top 5 pieces of advice you would give and you're also welcome to reference any good or harder to find references for me to read or watch. Thank you, Bob

Number of reviews in PPC advert
Hi all Got an email from a client asking about this, Ive not come across this one before. The client has a Google + account with about 2500 reviews on their website on. They have linked this into their adwords so these show on their ppc. However, on the ppc ad it says only 650 reviews. Quite a difference!! Anyone know why this would be the case? Thanks
