My site on desktop browser: page 2 /mobile browser: page 0
-
Using my two most pertinent keywords in Chome my site shows up page two.
Using the same keywords on my iPhone does not show my site at all (I clicked on to page 15).
I have a mobile ranking of 84 on Google PageSpeed Insights. Could be a bit higher but not enough to totally ignore my site.
What am I missing?

Ah I get you. It could be down to your specific mobile deployment being somehow less-indexable than your desktop deployment (more common than you might think). I you can share a few URLs that rank on desktop but not on mobile at all, I (or someone else) will soon take a look at them for you!

I have done all the necessary SEO, the site is active on social media, optimized for mobile users, optimized for speed, etc.
I just don't understand why there would be such big difference with mobile (0) vs desktop search (page 2). It does not show up on mobile search at all.
Let me now if there is anything that jumps out: https://tamarindobeachinfo.com
Keywords: tamarindo costa rica.

All of the rest of SEO.
Inside of SEO - you have:
- Content optimisation and deployment
- Technical SEO
- Off-site activity
- Social amplification
- CRO / UX best practices
... and many other pillars that come and go. What you have done is some page-speed optimisation. Page-speed optimisation (due to its legacy and history, of how it came about) sort of fits inside of mobile optimisation. Mobile optimisation is itself, part of technical SEO optimisation
You have partially done (I say partially because your score isn't 90+) one small part, of another small part, of technical SEO which is merely one among many pillars of the practice
What you are missing, is (probably) everything else

Many of my pages are showing up as 4xx errors because they require a login/subscription to view. How can I fix this?
Should these pages be redirecting to a login page? Or does there need to be something other than an Access Denied message? I feel like these are bringing the overall site score down.

Deleted pages still registering as 404 pages.
I have a an all html site that I can only work on through the ftp. The previous marketing company ran a script that built thousands of location landing pages, but all they did was change the tags and headers and the keywords in the pages, other than that they are all duplicate pages. I removed them, but Google is reading them as 404 pages. How do I tell Google those pages don't exist? or do I just need to let the bots crawl it a few times and it will see that eventually?

On-Page Report Card: Whats up with the TITLE of the page?
Started to fix the SEO issues on a customers website. When I run a "On-Page Report Card" It says that the title of the webpage:

www.visbymaklarna.se/visbymaklarna.html Is "visbymäklarna - Ditt förstahandsval på gotland." But if I check in the source code of the webbrowser the title should be:
name="title" content="Vi är mäklarna på Gotland som sätter människan i första rummet" /> (Actually this is with special encoding for the swedish characters. The title in coded text is: "Vi är mäklarna på Gotland som sätter människan i första rummet") Anyway the title of the webpage source code and the title of what SEOmoz reports is different. Why is that?0 -
Can Page Authority of a site be higher than its Domain Authority?
I own a website called Takeyourtips.com. While doing a search no Google, I found that the page authority of the home page (31) is higher than the domain authority (23). I was wondering if it's really possible because my understanding was page authority of a page is determined by its domain authority. Therefore, it the domain authority of a website is 23, none of its page could have a higher page authority. Plus, upon consulting an SEO expert, I was told that neither Domain Authority or Page Authority of a page carries any importance as far as higher ranking of a website is concerned. Is this true? Thanks in advance for the answers. Cheers, Sushant large

Page title
So if we have a main category page on our site (mines an ecommerce site), do we go for more than that main keyword phrase for that category of products, or is it better to just keep it by itself, and not utilize the 65-70 characters available?

Different names for Twitter/Facebook, and site?
Greetings, I want to optimize my site, www.atstrust.com. I know that posts to Facebook and Twitter help improve ranks. Does it matter though if my twitter/facebook sites have a different name than the domain I am optimizing? For example, my Facebook site is facebook.com/easyinspection. I assume that doesn't matter as long as the URLs on the site refer to my domain? Thanks! Eric
