ECommerce Tracking in Analytics - Should I use a plugin or do it manually?
-
Hi,
I have a WordPress site (woocommerce integrated). I would like to know should I use a plugin to enable e-commerce tracking in Google Analytics or I should do it manually with GTM. Which is a better way?
Will using a plugin to enable e-commerce tracking slow down my site? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

We recommend hiring a web developer to ensure they put the Google Analytics code on every page- to ensure that your business gets reliable SEO information.
We have had problems with a company building fencing/ garden bars that involved us re adding the code so that we could get seo information from Google Analytics.

Whenever you install a plugin you will slow down somewhat the performance of your wordpress. But many times you have to value what that plugin offers you versus the knowledge you have to do it manually. That's why I recommend that if you don't have the necessary knowledge to do it manually do it through a plugin, save time and not go crazy. I also recommend you to know more about Google Tag Manager, offers great utilities to create custom events that allow you to carry out a very complete monitoring of your ecommerce.

Track buttons in Google Tag Manager
Hi! First question: I am wondering if it's possible to track two buttons with the same code in Google Tag Manager without changing the code? There are different page URL's.. Second one: My tags are displayed in Google Analytics as 'events'. When I put the events in 'goals', the number of times it fired differs from my events. Someone who can help me with this issue?

How do I add subdomain tracking to an existing Google analytics account that was set up to track website only (without the subdomain option)
I know you can track subdomains by just selecting the proper code when you set up the analytics and then create filters for the data in analytics. But how do you add a subdomain for existing analytics website. Is there a way to go back and change to the option to include subdomains and then I assume just replace the tracking code with the new code that Google delivers for this?

Subdomain GA Tracking??
Hi Mozzers I am tracking a web property www.example.com and we are launching a subdomain.example.com. Should the subdomain tracked on GA by creating a new profile or should it be on its own with a new GA property ID? Thanks for explaining how to do that setup 🙂 Ty

Does Google Analytics parse visits from search apps?
Does anyone know if Google Analytics reports visits to your website differently from individual search apps like Google and Bing? Or do they just treat them the same as any other keyword visit from Google or Bing search engine? I suppose the end result is probably the same as in the Google app you're using Google so it would just be a different access point versus a new tool. I'm just curious if there is a way to see how many Mobile visits are coming from the apps vs the browser. For me personally I have the Google and Bing iOS apps installed but rarely use them, opting for the Safari search bar 99% of the time.

Track Individual Organic Orders In Google Analytics
I was wondering if there is a way to track information about the individual order in google analytics. Currently I can see all of the organic traffic, rev, transactions, etc, but I would like to be able to know what those individual order numbers are, as well as be able to place test orders to see if organic tracking is correctly working. Does anyone know of a good blog walkthrough for this, or have any suggestions? Thanks (again individual organic order data not all data from a specific search engine or keyword).

Is IP tracking of visitor allowed?
Hi, Google Analytics does not provide IP addresss of the visitors. What if i develop some in-house tracking mechanism to do so? Is it allowed or will Google penalize me if it comes to know about it? Thanks
