The best checking tool Keyword Cannibalization
-
hi guys i have a Keyword Cannibalization isuue, please Introduce best free tools for checking Keyword Cannibalization.
-
When that happens here, we improve both (or all) of those pages, then go out for beers.
-
That is unusual - is that data from search console? Can you let me know why or what data relying upon so you believe multiple pages from the same site are attracting the same customer query?
-
thanks. i have a multiple page ranking with similar keyword.
-
The best tool is search console, but not sure what precisely constitutes a keyword cannibalisation issue. Is it you have multiple keywords ranking for one page, none in top 3?

How do I create a segment that shows me all pages using a certain keyword? But nothing that doesn't have that keyword?
There must be an easy answer to this, but I can't seem to find it. All I want to do is create a segment in Google Analytics that shows all pages and search strings with "orthopaedics" in the title, with pageviews, uniques etc. If I simply navigate to "All Pages" in Google Analytics and then click Advanced Filters and do an Include Page Contains "orthopaedics" it works just fine. (See attached Screen Shot) But when I try to recreate this as a segment, it pulls in all other pages the users visited before arriving on the orthopaedics page I want to include, which I don't want. I can manually exclude each URL I don't want, but this is tedious and I feel there must be a simpler method I'm just missing. At the end of the day, I'm trying to create a list of every page and dynamically created query string that includes the word "orthopaedics" to say doctor X, your orthopaedics section generated X views, and here's a list of the pages. What's the best way to figure out which keywords are the highest converting?
We have a client using Google Analytics. They currently have 3 goals set up to track when website visitors fill out 3 forms: Form A, Form B, Form C. I can easily figure out what traffic sources have driven the highest number of conversions on each form (Search for Form A, for instance, or Referrals for Form B), but of course, when I try to drill down on search terms that have driven conversions to each form, I get stuck in "not provided" territory. I'd like to know what people are searching for when they ultimately fill out each form. This will answer questions like: are people familiar with us already when they convert, or did they randomly find our website when searching for something we sell? It seems like there must be a way, using Google Webmaster Tools, Analytics, or another third-party app, to answer the question: what keyword searches are responsible for the highest number of conversions? Especially on a website that has traffic of 10,000+/month and a healthy dose of search traffic. Right? Where am I missing this information?

How to Access Keywords in Old Adword Account
Where can the keywords that go with a specific ad be found in Google adwords? Right now the only keywords we can find are all the collective keywords used across the 10 ads in the campaign. We need to which individual keywords are associated with each ad. Is that information available, and if so, where? Appreciate your input. David

What is the best way to embed Google Analytics charts on our site?
We want to build out this functionality so a client can log into our site and view data. I know its possible but I can't find any articles about the steps so that my team can move forward.

SEO Working GREAT! Although Keyword Rankings Only Directing to Home Page.
Since I've become a fellow MOZer I've seen an increase on my sites and proud to say that ALL of my clients have now accomplished 1st page rankings on at least 2 of their top 3 keywords. Yes, I am as stoked as them. Although I am a bit worried because as I rank keywords and test them on Google and engines alike all of our rankings direct to the homepage. I am essentially new to SEO. So as happy as I am to be doing something right I'm worried I'm losing the end user. By having them need to Search our site/menus/blog for the keywords/phrase that got them to us will turn most searchers away. They want the content now. What am I doing wrong? My pages are pretty specific so I never cared to use rel-canonical's...I dont have duplicate content, other than your typical footer/side bar consistent info. So I'm curious where I've gone wrong. Little history on my sites: I Use Joomla 2.5 & 3.x. I manage seo details through sh404seo. I've cleaned all duplicates I can up other than what these dynamic cms generate by just using one. I've done fairly well and all my pages rank A for moz's onpage grader for the keyword optimized around. Any help is appreciate, THANK YOU!

Best way to handle duplicate title on Home page?
Moz reports two links to the same Home page ad duplicate titles ... http://myhjhome.com/index.php
Reporting & Analytics | | ElykInnovation
http://myhjhome.com I'm not sure if I should just 301 redirect http://myhjhome.com/index.php to http://myhjhome.com, or if there is a better way to handle that? Or should I comb the website and make sure all links to the Home page dont include index.php? Just looking for some extra help here, learning as I'm going, thanks!!0 -
Setting up Webmaster Tools correctly - naked domain DNS error and sub-domains question
I'm trying to get our domain (verdantly.com) set up correctly in Google Webmaster Tools. Currently, I have three "sites" setup: blog.verdantly.com (wordpress.com blog redirected to this subdomain) www.verdantly.com verdantly.com The subdomain blog and www show up without errors. However, the naked domain shows a DNS error. I've checked the DNS settings at the registrar and don't see any issues. So here are my questions: 1. Am I correct in setting up the naked domain AND the subdomains separately in Webmaster tools? 2. How do I track down / resolve the source of the DNS errors at the naked domain? Thanks!

'Search Queries Report' in Webmaster Tools Question
Hi, How much do you use the search queries report in webmaster tools to research current rankings/movements? It does look like a great tool but the data doesn't seem to be spot on. For example a keyword over a week might have flux in position so lets say 6.0 then 9.2 for 3 days then back to 6.0. But I check the serp's for this keyword everyday and didn't see any movement?!?! Is this a good tool for you?
