To chime in on this, DA and PA are Moz metrics, and are not only impacted by gain and loss of backlinks, but also take into consideration that of competitors. That said, there's a good chance that if you did not lose backlinks and saw a decrease, that your competitors gained backlinks during this period.

Actually, only nr 4. in your list would have an impact on Domain Authority in how Moz calculates it as it's based on the authority from links. Any ranking factors from the site or on-page optimization don't play a role in how it's calculated.

I'm looking for some advice on switching domains for my survey/giveaway website.

I purchased a website that gets around 1,500 in traffic and makes a few hundred in Adsense. The previous owner had rebranded the site and changed the domain which ended up hurting his SEO and traffic. Before that it was getting 10,000 in traffic on the old domain.
It's been a few years since the rebrand but the original domain still holds a lot of authority and got way more traffic. Should I consider switching the website back to the original domain to try to improve rankings again or should I just focus on the new domain?
The website now is snipon.com and the previous domain name was surveyh.com
I'm wondering if switching back to the original domain will still be beneficial or if it will just mess up what's happening now on the rebranded site.0 -

Added Maximum keywords on Moz Pro - Updated our SERP and optimized metas for all our products on Bookscardsnbikes. We are sorting out bad backlinks - and have google ads + and boosting our seo. And yet - no traffic or customers [minimal] Have been a business for one year. In short: can you take a look at our moz [Site Audit] and explain what we're missing to get our company off of the ground. We are more than okay with criticism - it helps us grow. Domain Authority dropped 10 points and I don't know why
In my latest site crawl, the domain authority dropped 10 points for no apparent reason. There have been no changes to the site. Unsolved Links to my website are wrong
Hi, I have launch a new website, lorraine on october of 2021 and I have added it to a bunch a local and national directories to improme it local rankings. But when I get the domain authority and link data from MOZ it has only ten links and no one of them is from local/national directories. I have three questions: Do you know if it is normal that after 9 months DA is 1? Is there any problem with local/national directory links? I dont like buy links like others do but it seems the only way to improve domain authority and rankings.

"Duplicate Page Title" Problem - Please Help
Hello, My website is categorized into 2 main categories. Sci/Tech (Has 4 sub-categories) Gadgets(Has 2 sub-categories) The Crawl diagnostic tool shows "Duplicate Page Title" error on Gadget's sub-categories while there's no error on the Sci/Tech. I don't really know how to get rid of these errors. Anyone has a solution to this?
