Hi Miriam,
Yes i'm feeling 1 million times better thank you for asking.
Are you attending any events this year?
By the way great info on the Google local updates in so many posts I've read from you. I am really impressed.
All the best,

you bring up a good point Kevin if you use the Genesis framework SEO option then you will either see an outdated marketing or something that does the wrong thing with their canonical's.
That said this is easily fixed by downloading WordPress SEO at Yoast.com
all the best,
Hi Linda,
I am sorry to hear that.
Yes I had unexpectedly had to do the root canal fun times so I was not able to monitor anything to be honest with you guys. But I have a client who has returned absolutely ecstatic from it so I am very happy about this.
we can talk about the same thing now it's awesome.
I will be at searchlove & mozcon
Hope to see you at one,
Tom
you can use whatever CMS or code you want on this part.
How to keep your hosting and create a staging environment NON WordPress as well
you can use it on a server as bespoke as you please. (You must have root access)
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Establishing+Staging+Server+Environments+for+JIRA

I hope this will be more helpful.
all the best,
Tom
Hi Miriam & Linda,
amazing I did not expect to see what I found there.
Did you both attend localU I had a root canal issue and was unable to attend unfortunately but I did have a client go who absolutely loved it. I wish I could've seen you there.
All the best,
Thomas
Hi Dan,
Their are some very specific small things that are different about Genesis obviously but once you master those I do not see a downside whatsoever compared to just WordPress.
I use Genesis on every WordPress build including Woo commerce
I say definitely use Genesis framework get to know it very well check out sites like
Some of many excellent developers that prefer Genesis.
Genesis is open source framework you can make your own plug-ins bended it to make your own framework based off of it it's easy not bloated great for just about everything I can think of.
The groundwork for Genesis 2.0 HTML5 was built here by my friend Greg Yoast credits him for it this was not something that would have affected software license. It's 100% open source

Are you running WordPress? If you are here are a list of hosting companies that provide staging servers.
I'm glad to hear you guys are looking into possibly working this out hopefully it's just a miscommunication.
I think staging servers are a godsend and allow people to do things that they will know if they could have gotten away with are not once they try it.
This list is partial to staging every web post is very good there's one I state do not use unless you use their VIP plan I wish I did have to say that but I can't recommend them without stating that.
http://wpengine.com/plans/ (probably the best staging environment available)
You can get four months for free of WPengine & 30% off for life from Pagely via https://Moz.com/perks
https://kinsta.com/features/ (outstanding staging and hosting)
https://pantheon.io/features/version-control-workflow (awesome)
http://www.presslabs.com/ (great hosting and staging)
https://getflywheel.com/tour/staging-sites/ (must just say please turn on staging)
https://pagely.com/plans-pricing/wordpress-vps-hosting/ (one of my favorites but staging only available on VPS & enterprise plans. I must say it is worth it)
https://pressable.com/ (unless you're going to get a private “VIP” cloud the downtime is very bad and will hopefully get better soon but until then I cannot say use these guys in less you are going for the VIP plan an amazing staging set up.)
https://www.siteground.com ( inexpensive offers staging)
http://mediatemple.net/webhosting/wordpress/ (offers staging)
** How to keep your hosting and create a staging environment NON WordPress as well**
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Establishing+Staging+Server+Environments+for+JIRA
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3844369/git-production-staging-server-workflow
I think if the person is really trying to do things without other people knowing what they are that's not good. At the same time I would be wary of anyone keeping secrets.
I hope this information is a step towards you guys working it out.
Sincerely,
Thomas
okay you are still dealing with 302 redirects because you are using a old Windows server . & non Windows server move the redirects to the new server
copying paste the URL http://www.finetechtoolings.co.in/featured-products below into the tool below
http://www.ragepank.com/redirect-check/
I know you're running Windows because of this your header
http://www.feedthebot.com/tools/headers/test.php
I tried this tool as well
http://99webtools.com/url_redirect_checker.php#
I know you are using Joomla! and I do not know what you are using before so I would redirect page to page for the entire site.
http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php
http://99webtools.com/blog/htaccess-redirect-entire-site-to-new-domain/
or if your host Is managed or has 301's
https://kb.mediatemple.net/questions/1889/How+do+I+use+the+Redirect+Domains+tool%3F
your new server may not be the best setup either.
http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www.finetechtoolings.in
https://www.virustotal.com/en/ip-address/204.11.58.237/information/
In Apache .htaccess - not Windows, Cold Fusion etc
It is normal practice to have domains linked and accessed via the www version. However, if you prefer the non www version, just reverse the following:
To redirect all traffic from http://finetechtoolings.co.in to http://www.finetechtoolings.co.in (and also redirect all other domains parked into the same webspace)
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.finetechtoolings.co.in
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.finetechtoolings.co.in/$1 [R=301,L]
To redirect http://www.finetechtoolings.co.in/index.html tohttp://www.finetechtoolings.co.in. Change to .htm or .shtml depending on your requirementsand http://www.finetechtoolings.co.in/index.php tohttp://www.finetechtoolings.co.in

Another way to redirect is page by page. Following rule redirects each page on old domain to same page on new domain (eg: http://olddomain.com/page.html to http://newdomain.com/page.html).
This is the best way also recommended by Google
| 12 | RewriteEngine on``RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://newdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]

Good catch Chris
Jacob I agree with what Chris has to say completely.
_ By the way I see you are using WordPress if you do rebuild the site my personal opinion is use Genesis framework found here._
http://www.studiopress.com/features
_ And_
Woocommerce found here
_ if you want to simply use just woothemes there's no harm in that._
Call me Tom.
I'm happy to be of help!
Hi Andy,
I do the same thing with SearchLove I unfortunately just missed localU (root canal no fun)
Smart idea I think you will love Seattle it's a beautiful city. Don't forget to check out the SubPub in the airport if you're a Nirvana fan.
Sincerely,
Thomas
Try using a staging server it's kind of crazy to be making changes to the live site regardless. There are some great staging servers out there that will allow access to them then only once the site is definitely not broken or heard in any other fashion then you can move forward.
Saves you having to do their work and them having this issue. I do agree everyone talking about the secrecy stuff there's no secret sauce it's create the best website and best user experience.
Most people would be proud to say what they're doing not say that this is MI fives operation
I want to say I agree anything they say is "secret" is probably not white hat. I don't think anyone here is worried about someone stealing their formula for on page search.
However it's possible the person he's used to working in a certain way.
If you're going to do the work and allow them to delegate to you and you're actually going to do what they say I don't see an issue with it all.
I understand how that SEO feels you are preventing them from doing their job if you do not allow them root access.
If you do not trust them enough to actually be in there on the server then you should not be using them.
There are alternatives like staging servers but search engine optimization is done over a long time and definitely requires admin access to the server I imagine this person does not want you doing what you think is best and affecting their work just the same way as you do not want them affecting you by doing something else to the server.
A good SEO should work with a developer if they do not have that knowledge.
this is actually something a SEO should know before taking the job although it is definitely assumed.
I would not presume to tell you how to do your job I feel that they probably feel the same way.
Hope that helps,
Tom
I will see you there although I'd think there will be enough to do at MozCon
Google will have to index your entire site and update their side of it.
So all of the URLs in your website will have to be indexed and updated.
there is nothing wrong with copy scape if you go to Google and type in site:finetechtoolings.co.in You will see in Google's index cached there are two PDFs on the www. along with 22 other URLs still in Google's index
you will see 22 indexed pages this is not the end of the world Google simply has to catch-up to your 301. Did you 301 redirect every page?
I hope this helps,
Tom
Along with Redirection I think the Yoast WordPress SEO premium plug-in is probably the best redirection and search plug-in for WordPress.
One thing I wanted to let you know is that you are showing HTTPS you should be forcing HTTPS though I do not believe it has anything to do with this particular issue.
Add the following redirect to the the top of your .htaccess file:
RedirectMatch 301 ^/palm-beach-gardens/$ https://www.thinworks.com/palm-beach-gardens-team/?p=$
You may need to implement force HTTPS
Use https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-force-https/
of course depending on your hosting provider and other factors you can do one better and implement it in this method
sincerely,
Thomas
well some of them are and your navigation which obviously should contain internal URLs does contain internal URLs. I am sending a screenshot of one of your widgets and a look at the actual URL which is an internal URL as your other widgets contained the same domain "hindimeaning.com" they are internal URLs as well.
here is a screenshot below of your entire home page sorry if it looks strange my browser is dragged pretty wide.
Regardless it looks like you using a Genesis 1 framework is this correct?
Go into appearance then widgets you will see the URLs and be able to modify them to your liking.
So far I have not seen external URLs meaning from another domain.
I hope this is helpful,
Thomas
in addition to analyticsseo having an API SEMrush which is now doing on page and off page seo through their site audit option is allowing this at an extremely low price via their API. So those are two companies that will offer on page SEO via API I hope that helps,

Hi Jake,
I'm going to do my best to answer this let me know if I am missing what you're saying.
1. In what way does my website benefit from the paragraph of text in the header? e.g at the domain level? Just the home page? etc etc
** It does not benefit from having a paragraph of text in the header unless that text is being used to describe the site to people looking at it in search engines.**
2. How does google assign 'juice' to the paragraph of text? (similiar to Q1).
Google does not assign juice the term "juice" is often used for links URLs link juice comes from a authoritative and relevant website linking to your website. It can also come from your own website linking to another relevant page internally.
3. How would my website be effected if I moved the text to the footer? (Aesthetic change)
If the text you're talking about is visible it would simply look like the current text in your footer. I would not recommend putting things in your footer unless you know what they are and why you are going to do it. Most information in the footer is not given as much authority as things found higher up in the page.
4. When I 'inspect element' on the paragraph, it is labelled 'div id=site description.' Can someone please explain the relevance of a sites description to SEO for me.
the code you gave me
'div id=site description.'
Is this CSS? not a meta description something that is important to the end-user so they can see what you're site is about when they're looking at it in Google's SERPs please see
http://moz.com/learn/seo/meta-description
For the code you gave it looks like the CSS code for a part of your website that is your paragraph description I'm assuming? see http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/css-basics/
This paragraph of text was in the websites header before I came onboard, and I've been too concerned to change / move it as I don't know enough about it.
Welcome to Mountain Jade, New Zealand’s premium source of jade jewellery and greenstone jade art for sale. We work with leading New Zealand jade carvers to bring you traditional and contemporary Jade Jewellery art carved from New Zealand Pounamu and greenstone from around the world.
<a name="navmenu"></a>
move the text above anywhere you like. Remember if it is relevant and customers should be seeing it you will want to keep it visible therefore not in the footer.
My advice to you is add more text to your homepage it's very hard to understand what your company does as well as learn about it so one can purchase from it if you do that I believe it will help you quite a bit.
I hope I have not confused you as I want to be clear the welcome to the mountain text is on page or content text not the same thing as a meta-description however it is important to have text on your page without out it it is like people and Google want to play Pac-Man without anything to eat a.k.a. the text it's very hard to do.
If you wish to make the site better you may want to use WordPress that is what I would do. You can also download some high-quality free code
please check out

I hope this is helpful,
Thomas
popular posts and related posts are dynamic so they would not show up as URL's when you say widgets
you mean the widgets containing the URLs that make up most of the website as I have only seen two pages but they look very similar.
this Would not allow me to click on the other URL until after the video that's what the second link is for
your widgets contain URLs
could you please rephrase the question and take note that the code I looked at is not ideal.
Hi,
your example of a canonical tag is an example of what you do not want to do.
_ This is the example I'm referencing_
www.pageA.com/?CID=1324 with a canonical tag pointing to: www.pageA.com/?CID=1324)
There are two issues I want to point out.
you do not want to create a canonical tag for a CID URL meaning the URL www.pageA.com can have a canonical ( this example is if you want to keep a capital letter in your URL)
www.pageA.com/?CID=1324 would have a canonical of nevermind ?CID=1234 that is why the canonical matters to keep Google from mistaking www.pageA.com/?CID=1324 with if you intended to have a capital letter www.pageA.com
Using a capital letter unless you have very good reason do not put cap's in your URLs Linux based servers servers e.g. Google bot consider a URL with a capital letter different from the same URL all lowercase.
So www.pageA.com UNLESS you intended to keep a capital letter in the URL would look like this
If you had you intended to keep the capital letter
To simplify this is much as I can. The ideal canonical tag for www.pagea.com/?CID=132 would be
as long as the ?CID=1234 is not in the canonical URL check out

Hi Guys,Gianluca brings up some good points.Talking about very real situations that happen to me quite often. I will prefer to read German and if there is a conversion like a purchase obviously I will have to back out and find the product that I hope is in stock for the US market.I think placing something the language that is native to the country and you can only hope the visitor.
"We saw you are visiting us from the USA. If you want you can go to www.domain.com. If not, do not consider this advice" (this is what Amazon does, for instance). Gianluca
I would say user see native version for whatever country you're actually assuming that they are visiting from. Well said GianlucaAll the best,Thomas
Google has cracked down on low quality photographs they want photos that are 2000 pixels wide the smallest can get away with his 500 pixels
"min 500x500 px. For best results, add photos that are at least 2,000 px wide and no wider than 2:1 ratio."
_ See the bottom of the URL referenced from _https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038221
This is what Google recommends for their my business which must also be approved and you should have no less than 10 photographs of relevant pictures regarding what your company does and especially of your business.

I think I speak for everyone with that type of traffic increase you should not gamble mixing it out.
Well think that if you are in the end user / visitor's shoes.
I'm German and although I spend most of my life in United States, I would prefer German I have a better understanding of it. So if you prefer English over any other language or would you like to have to choose?
That's the way I will look at it in. You said something about IP address and they do matter ONLY if you do for have not correctly set up your site in GWT with hreflang.
So the good thing to check out would be WP engine Mercury project GeoIP that might have some interesting things for you to learn more about the subject. It is trying to provide the best end-user experience.
http://wpengine.com/support/geoip-personalizing-content-based-geography/
It depends on if the traffic is extremely low and how old the domain? How bad the URLs are there's a lot of different questions that need to be answered with the actual .if you're only doing 100 people a month and he went up by 30 people yeah it's safe to say you should be okay to changing them there are good reasons to change URL structures however there are also awesome reason keep them. If you cansend me a URL I would be happy to tell you if I agree with your choice or not.

"Now that https is the canonical version, should I block the http-Version with robots.txt?"
Absolutely not GWT will handel all of it think about backlinks both https:// & http:// urls you will not want to lose the flow of link juice that you would cut off
Remake robost.txt with
http://www.internetmarketingninjas.com/seo-tools/robots-txt-generator/
But use https:// for the xml sitemap.
go into Google Webmaster tools and see if you have the option of HRlang
How new is .in it was .co.in
if you do targeted at the country you wish to Rank within
Do you have the correct language setup is your content copy written for the country are targeting?
here is a list of TLD's that do not need to have you tell Google where you want them rank. If you do not have any Hindi and your server's IP address is being hosted out of the United States Google could be picking up on these other signals.
| http://www.google.co.in | .in | India | en - English | hi - Hindi |
I will write back tomorrow and finish this it's very late for me now but look into this for me please.

if you want to prevent robots from crawling your site truly prevent them you will need to use either a password restriction or a tool similar to this
http://www.distilnetworks.com/
If you see what is being said by Google and Moz a robots.txt file can not guarantee blocking something that is linked to. if you want to do that you will have to block the referral using a WAF like distilnetworks
http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/crawl-diagnostics
https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/dotbot
&
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6062608?rd=2
Also blocking link analysis user agents that are nothing but a drain on your resources is a good idea. Simple enough to do in htaccess with something like this:
Search Engine Blocked by Robots.txt
This page cannot be crawled by search engines due to the robots.txt protocol. If you're seeking to remove this page from search results, we recommend that you use meta robots (with noindex, follow values) instead of robots.txt. This will ensure that the page does not appear in the results but allows link juice to flow through the page's links and count towards the relevance/popularity of other pages on your site.
If you don't want dotbot crawling your site, we always respect the standard Robots Exclusion Protocol (aka robots.txt). If you would like to block dotbot, all you need to do is add our user-agent string to your robots.txt file.
If you want to ban dotbot from most areas of your site, it looks a little something like this:
User-agent: dotbot Disallow: /admin/ Disallow: /scripts/ Disallow: /images/
below this I have placed what somebody has created that they state works I do not know if it works I told you that distill networks will work but I cannot guarantee the very bottom I think you will not have any trouble if you set up the robots.txt as configured at the top.
If you want to ban dotbot from crawling any part of your site, add this text instead:
User-agent: dotbot Disallow: /

Hi Tim,
I think you did a great job of writing everything out. Would you mind sharing your URL's with me via private message if you are uncomfortable sharing it here?
I would be very hesitant to tell you to merge sites without knowing what type of content they have.
However having said that Granger.com is a good example of a site that sells just about everything. The only common theme is industrial products. But those range so vastly that you can understand what I mean.
as far as the best way to do it take the domain with the most authority and keep that domain 301 redirect the other domain page by page to it.
Here is some information
let me know if this is enough information I'd be happy to field any questions.
All the best,
Thomas
I think thats a great Idea .net is not my thing.

More that will help you show google there two companies
Yes in order to break the correlation between the businesses it does not really matter that they're on the same IP. more on that at the bottom in case you're using a .com and trying to target a country that you have yet to tell Google Webmaster tools you wish to target.
this only matters if you are outside of the country you are are targeting with a geo-targetable domain like .com, see
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1347922 etc.
you will then want to make sure you sign up for
https://www.google.com/business/ this is free and allows you to add your business to Google plus
one very important part of adding this site correctly or sites correctly to Google Webmaster tools is to make sure you have chosen www. or no-www in Google Webmaster tools the reason this matters is you cannot target any country without doing this first. See
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/44231?hl=en
Then add Your businesses to
https://www.google.com/business/faq.html
you should place your IP address into the box in this URL this will tell you where your server's data center is
http://www.neustar.biz/services/ip-intelligence
( always nice to see people using a VPS)
one thing to understand about IP addresses is they do play a small role in Google's understanding of where you are but it is extremely small. If you are in the United States and have a .com address you will want to use Google Webmaster tools and target United States. Obviously you would want to do the same for whatever country or in. If you're in a country with an non-geo-targetable domain like .ca ( Canada) or .de( Germany) you automatically are targeting the countries with a geo-target domain.
There is really no other way around doing that then once they're created use Moz local to create citations that will differentiate the two businesses even more.

one of the best
I signed up with
You will also want to add schema to your address along with a KML file and XML site map with your latitude and longitude
this is a free tool that allows you to do this and even creates a schema generated map.
http://www.geositemapgenerator.com/input
If you use WordPress I recommend purchasing the Yoast local plug-in it will do this and add it to your site map flawlessly along with giving people directions to your business
you can also incorporate tools like yoast local SEO in order to add https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/local-seo/
http://local.yoastdemo.com/widgets-demo/
another easy way to add schema for your address is to use
Google's rich snippet creator which is only good for Google not other search engine but if that does not bother you here it is.
https://www.google.com/webmasters/markup-helper/
in my opinion this is one of the greatest schema tools and it has a WordPress plug-in if needed.
http://schema-creator.org/organization.php
or you just want a fast address made correctly

to better understand why you should use it

All the best,

Yes in order to break the correlation between the businesses it does not really matter that they're on the same IP.
The most important thing to do is to create a suite number or whatever your town allows you to change. So for instance I had to create a Suite 101 and sweet 102 for business I have in order to appease Google.
I too live in Florida and the town of Winter Park charged me $312 to do this I do not know what your town will charge but I do know if you go down to the county clerk's office you can get the suites created.
There is really no other way around doing that then once their created use Moz local to create citations that will differentiate the two businesses even more.
All the best,
Tom
if you are looking for somebody to back up what Anthony said I agree 100%. You can also canonical a page that is just a photograph to the original source. However if there is something worth reading you will want to let the crawlers index it.
You can use Yoast in order to know index all page numbers e.g. page1, page2 however you will lose the ability to have them show up in Google's index possibly if they're linked they will still show up.
I would not worry about it if you do want to change it use
https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/
like Anthony said no index but definitely **do not nofollow **
All the best,
Tom
HiI know there are two crawlers that Moz uses Roger bot and open site Explorer uses dotbot
Make sure there is no forward slash "/" after e.g. (Disallow:/)
Mozused to have an awesome writeup on it but it just forwards to Moz.com/help now it could be that they have another great write up but the URL changed. For now here's the information
User-agent: rogerbot
Disallow:
User-agent: dotbot
Disallow:
User Agent Analyser
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; DotBot/1.1; http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/dotbot, help@moz.com)

Hi Jason,
You can request the hosting company you're using block the hostnames below. You can also look for their IP addresses however note this is probably a waste of time because they are so easily changed. This is a tool that you can use if you do want to block by IP
http://www.whatsmyip.org/whois-dns-lookup/
In many cases it shows me the hostname has more than one IP address.
Better to block the host name itself then to deal with the IP's.
Adding a web application firewalls that give you control will make a world of difference to your clients and yourself.
Remember you can check if your site is infected for free by using the tools below. Simply put your domain in and run them to make sure you are not infected.

I definitely recommend adding one of the WAF's You Can
http://www.incapsula.com/pricing-and-plans.html (free plan will help)
https://sucuri.net/website-firewall/ ( Probably Best Value)
or
http://www.distilnetworks.com/ ( Incredible Bot Protection)
Here is a list that will allow you to add multiple bad host names to a block list via using a comma in between the host names. I did this just make it easier not to be redundant.

I think you can do some amazing things for very little money with the Sucuri , incapsula (paid) & Distil Networks WAF Allow You to Separate Human, Good Bot, & Bad Bot Page Requests Simply By Changing Your DNS

Update if you use WordPress
**Joshua Strebel - Pagely CEO **Today at 02:12
Hey Thomas,
The site is not hacked, if what you are referring to is what is shown here:http://www.incapsula.com/blog/semalt-botnet-spam.html then it is referrer spam. We'll take a look and see what we can do at the network edge. We'll also look over your site as well.
Check the FAQ at https://support.pagely.com for Answers to commonly asked questions.

/!\ Unfortunately, this plugin can't remove ALL spam referral traffic. Some domains are massively hijacking Google Analytics ID to push false traffic directly to Google's servers.
As they do not interfere with your blog or server, the plugin obviously can't do anything against them ; you have to block them in your Analytics account. Click here to view how : https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2795830?hl=en.

I actually forgot about another tool that does have this ability. Analytics SEO enterprise version does allow you to use their API externally. I have to warn you it's not cheep however it's a very good service.
http://www.analyticsseo.com/us/seo-data-api/
deep crawl in this may be the best on page SEO tool in the world in my opinion. It combines everything screaming frog has and places it hosted on servers so you can run millions of URI's they do have a API which you can integrate with.
on their enterprise offering. They start out at $80 a month and go up to thousands of dollars a month.
raven tools has a decent on page search tool however I think that there is no API access but I could be wrong.
I hope this helps and remember to utilize what Moz does offer because in my opinion they are the most complete tool out there and really thing everyone should have.
all the best,
Tom
I Moved the domain to FireHost I am using their WAF & ADC ($3,672.03) the combination is keeping me safe right now. If you want to be able to block these things
https://www.firehost.com/secure-cloud/application-delivery-controller-web-application-firewall
I strongly recommend using a WAF
https://sucuri.net/website-firewall/ probably the best deal on the planet. ($9-$350)
Sucuri at nine dollars to give you DDos seven protection and three and four with everything the other guys offer on their top-of-the-line models it's pretty easy to make a wise decision and spend nine bucks.
http://www.incapsula.com/ enterprise version or personal version excellent WAF (free to 350)
http://www.distilnetworks.com/ ( awesome bot control) 30 days free $100
or
I'm not going to recommend this tool below because I don't know that it will do the job I know the ones above will. Still at 20 bucks it's worth a look
https://www.cloudflare.com/ ( the free version of cloud flare is hundred percent worthless)
I will update this continuously and can't wait to hear more from other people that are dealing with this.
All the best,
Tom
Moz has access to their API as a pro member you have the ability to get acquainted with your information.
Check out scribecontent.com it is a tool made by copy blogger that might do what you're asking.
Let me know if I can be of more help,
Tom
Hi
You will need a few of the things below. One of the most important ones is either a copy of screaming frog preferably the Pro version or deep crawl
My preferred method is to use both but deep crawl rocks look at this article about site redevelopment it will index both sites and really make your life a lot easier
Definitely download the free version! & a pro- of screaming fraud there is a paid version it is 100 British pounds
Read this guide it has incredible insight on how to use both tools
http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/screaming-frog-guide/
Here are the basics that you don't want to stray from at all take all this in before changing the URL.

happy to be of help and remember if you ever have an issue with your permana links breaking before you going crazy simply go into them and hit the save button this refreshes them and works miracles I promise you.
All the best,
Tom
are we talking about an HTML site map or your XML site map?
I would not use a parent page unless it was designed specifically to create a site map if it was that's cool use it.
Because you have a functioning XML site map I am going to go ahead and assume that you're talking about an HTML site map what you showed us.
Find the footer and create or use this link I've created for you
and place it somewhere in the footer so it will show up on every page
you can make a widget in the WordPress widget area and simply paste HTML link above into that area. For more on creating links use this
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp
The XML sitemap & HTML function correctly

&
add here
http://i.imgur.com/DBnMHK9.png
http://arowautorental.com/sitemap.xml ( works just fine I would use Yoast but it's up to you)
If you are talking about an HTML site map then you're in good shape. As long as it contains all the URLs from your site.
if you do by any chance want to change or XML site map
http://arowautorental.com/sitemap.xml ( works just fine I would use Yoast but it's up to you)
https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/
https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/#xml-sitemap
Just place it in a static area in your footer.
You're all good I hope this helps,
Tom
