Do links tagged with Analytics UTM parameters has the same significance as once without any parameters?
-
If we add UTM parameters to inbound links, for tracking specific referral behavior, will those link have the same SEO significance as links without parameters?
-
Additional parameters do not affect link juice in any way.
If the URL is visible to users, it may affect click-through-rate. A clean, short URL will normally receive more clicks then a longer, less readable URL.
Also if the URL is also the text link, then the anchor text for the link is not good. A clean URL can offer solid anchor text.
A last point concerns ensuring your links go to a single page and are not seen as duplicate content: http://www.seomoz.org/ugc/url-tagging-clean-up-your-act

Thanks for your response.
What I mean is, will the link will pass the same "juice", with and without additional parameters.
For example:
http://www.usearch.co.il/?utm_source=coop&utm_medium=textads&utm_campaign=website

Can you clarify exactly what you mean by "same SEO significance"?
Also, can you share a generic example or two of URLs with your parameters added? I am trying to determine if you are tracking 1 or 2 items, or a dozen items.

Google Analytics Goals - Button Tracking
Does anyone know if there is a really easy way to track a button in Google Analytics yourself? It seems that most button click goal setups involve some use of tricky code and I'm wondering if there is a much easier way to do this that will allow us to simply setup and track certain button clicks as goal conversions in Analytics. Your help here is much appreciated!

Track subdomain in analytics
Hi, Our jobs section has recently been moved on to a subdomain https://jobs.ourwebsite.co.uk/home.html which is handled by a third party. Our analytics for the jobs section was lost as no code was added to the pages. Previously it was part of the main site. How do I track it as a subdomain so that it appears to be part of our main site? We have the old GA and universal GA code on the site Thanks

Removing Bad Links, Bad?
Our situation is this.. We recently went through a major redesign that included a significant change in content and URL structure. This of course cause a significant increase in 404 from our search traffic. In an effort to minimize those 404s we requested that Google remove certain URL directories from their index. Doing this resulted in a 90% drop in the number of impressions we were getting from search. My question is this, is it better to allow the 404s with a good landing page that explains the changes or better to remove the bad urls? Much thanks...

Is Analytics Code for SubDomains different?
I am currently tracking site performance on our website with Google Analytics. Recently, we've brought a Wordpress blog into our site as a subdomain blog.accupos.com. Though we did this a few months ago, we do not have Analytics data for these pages within the wordpress platform. I've found where to paste the code, in the Footer block of the Wordpress template, just before the close body tag (is this the best recommended way?) and just have one question about WHICH code to paste. Can I add the original code, same as the rest of the site? Or does Analytics have a different code for tracking subdomains? If so, do I need to replace existing code for the rest of the site? I hope I worded this okay. Please help. I'd appreciate it! Derek M.

Cover my tracks / two websites on the same Analytics
Hi, I've got 2 websites and I like one of them to make some links to the other one. These two sites are on the same Google Analytics account. They have been set up 3 month ago and they have some articles on them. I've heard that Google can see that those websites are related in my Analytics and use this information to give less power to the link I could make between them. What do think about it and what do you recommend me ? Shoud I closed the Analytics account ? Or down one of the website and rebuilt it whith a different domain / host / analytics ? The thing is if I delete one of the website i'll be force to republish the articles, because there are links on it, and they're part of a deal I've already made. Thank you
