Yellow Stars on Google Ads.
-
Hi,
I see some Ads on google.de with a yellow stars. I was researching how they are doing this, and just read some topics online about that. And now, i now finally that this Stars are coming from Google Product Reviews on Google Shopping.
I don't sell product, i do Financial Consulting, but those ADS on germany doing the same, our product is consulting. I created an Google Merchant Account, and product feed, but i don't know which is the easiest and fastest way to active this option to review the peoples my consulting-product like this one:
Can you tell me the steps, from A-Z how to configure all this?
Thanks

I see that you are already on Ekomi, you should ask them, they offer a Google Shopping additional feature.
-
I see some reviews from websites like this one: http://www.ciao.co.uk/
what do you think if we use this service to make reviews?
and the last question, do you from technical side, how can i connect with my google adwords? it's this automatically or i must make any programming?
-
I believe that the reviews must be made through an approved third party such as Google Checkout or PowerReviews. Reviews on client websites would not be used.
-
hi Egol.
Yes my clients provide Reviews, but on their websites and not on external websites.
Can you tell me, which stars or type of stars can i include on google adwords?
-
A consulting report is a product. If your clients provide reviews then you have an opportunity to receive stars.
SOme of the starts are from google shopping, but review sites such as PowerReviews can also produce stars.
PowerReviews and similar services are not cheap - making it difficult for the small guy to compete with Amazon.

Google Product Ads
Hi,
Paid Search Marketing | | ChrisHolgate
I was wondering if I could ask is perhaps someone could give me some clarification as to how the amount we bid on Google Product Ads reflects the product positioning on Google Shopping? We have a Google Product Data Feed which is then linked up to our Adwords account so that we can determine a PPC bid amount. In instances like this it doesn't seem to make sense that one person may be paying 10ppc and another 20ppc when the buyers criteria for sorting merchants was purely down to the price. Since the buyer has the option to sort their products in price from minimum to maximum the sort order cannot be manipulated by Google based on the amount the merchant was paying. As such, how is determining a cost per click figure relevant when the customer is searching by base price low > high on Google Shopping? Surely I should just set the limit to £0.01 and rely on the customer determining the sort order (which ultimately will lead to a higher conversion rate) than allowing Google to skew the results based on bidding 20-30 times this amount? I should state that I'm in the UK. I do realise that a high PPC amount will increase our chance of exposure on standard search pages but my question does relate solely to results listed on Google Shopping. Thanks for your help! Does having redirects in a Adwords text ad destination URL hurt quality scores?
I recently noticed that one of my clients had several redirects in their Adwords text ad destination URLs. I updated the destination URLS to land on the final location (thereby losing all the text ad history). However I'm wondering if this could have any impact on the text ad quality scores (none of them were disapproved).

Google Display Network had 3000 new placements in May
Hi all, I'm running through traffic figures from May as there was a huge spike. This is down to a spike in Adwords, specifically the Display Network. In May 2014, there is a total of 4337 placements. In April 2014, there is a total of 1561 placements. With nearly 3000 new placements where the ad could be shown, would anybody be able to explain as to how and why this has happened? I've run through the change history, and nothing i've done explains the extra placements. Auto add placements was on, but has been on for 12 months with no more than 50 extra per month. The only change that has been done that may link is I've added a mobile phone extension on ads displayed on mobile devices? The significant extra cost has been of no benefit to the campaign, as the advert displayed on various apps, forums and irrelevant websites.Would be great if anybody could shed some light here! Thank You

How Can I Target Certain Countries in Google AdWords without Excluding Other Countries?
So, here is the situation: Our company works with merchants worldwide (with the exception of those who live in excluded high-risk countries--mostly in Africa), but most of our Google AdWords leads come from Indian merchants. My CEO wants our campaigns to convert leads from other countries (i.e., the UK, Germany, US, Canada, Australia, etc.), but I have no idea how to do that without excluding India. However, my CEO does not want to exclude India from our AdWords campaigns as the leads are profitable. We simply want more diversity with out leads in terms of geographic location. I am sure there are resources on the Web about how to do this, but I am not an Adwords expert and am unsure of what phrases to search to find the answers. Direct advice or helpful links are much appreciated. Regards,

New v Returning in Google Analytics with Adwords
I am trying to figure out an issue with Google Analytics. What i am stumped on is I see traffic from AdWords coming in (accounts linked) and I see new v returning user. Does the return visit still show even if a user came back in via direct or organic? Or is it that these return visits are clicking on the ad again to come back as visits and clicks match in the reports?
