Hi There,
I have few similar job forms that were created for different positions. SEOMoz says, its "duplicate pages". So how do I resolve it? I want my jobs to be searchable in Search Engines.
Thanks !

I would handle this particular situation by putting the four-digit job number in a parameter instead of its own file or directory. Even better would be to use cookies in a way that allows you to not adjust the URL at all.
An example of using a parameter for this might be:
http://point-star.com/careers/apply/?jobid=5418Then the rel canonical tag on that page would be:
http://point-star.com/careers/apply/5409/
Alternatively, if you are unable to change the URL structure, you could just make all of the above pages rel canonical to http://point-star.com/careers/apply/ .
If you want to rank those pages you'll have to write unique content for each job, including the job description, as advised by Lynn below.

Hi Michelle,
Those pages are indeed all exactly the same except for the job title and have very little content.
Writing a job description for each placement would help with the duplicate content issue, things like what kind of experience is required for the position, what responsibilities for each job are, what it is like to work for the company etc.
You could also check out relevant microdata here http://schema.org/JobPosting which even if you cannot implement will give you a good idea of what kind of data you could include in the job descriptions.
Hope that helps!

Hi Everett,
Here are three URLs :
1. http://point-star.com/careers/apply/5418/
2. http://point-star.com/careers/apply/5424/
3. http://point-star.com/careers/apply/5409/
Thank you !

Hello Michelle,
Would you mind sharing some examples? We're going to need more information in order to provide you with the best answer.
Regards,
Everett

Fire a tag when element is loaded on page (Google Tag Manager)
I'm using an Element Visibility trigger to track a value that appears on a page. However, I want to track this value even when the user doesn't scroll to the area of the page where the element is (i.e. when the page is loaded, and the value is displayed below the fold, but the user doesn't scroll down there). Is there a way of doing this

Strange landing page in Google Analytics
Hello MOZ Community, The website in question is https://x-y.com/ When i looked at the landing pages report in GA , x-y.com is appended at the end of every URL like this. https://x-y.com/x-y.com When i open the above URL in GA interface, it shows page not found. This is obvious as there is no such URL.

Will noindex pages still get link equity?
We think we get link equity from some large travel domains to white label versions of our main website. These pages are noindex because they're the same URLs and content as our main B2C website and have canonicals to the pages we want indexed. Question is, is there REALLY link equity to pages on our domain which have "noindex, nofollow" on them? Secondly we're looking to put all these white label pages on a separate structure, to better protect our main indexed pages from duplicate content risks. The best bet would be to put them on a sub folder rather than a subdomain, yes? That way, even though the pages are still noindex, we'd get link equity from these big domains to www.ourdomain.com/subfolder where we wouldn't to subdomain.ourdomain.com? Thank you!

Google analytics suddenly stopped tracking all my landing pages
Hey guys. I love the new update of GA. Looks so clean. So, of course, I was excited to see how my landing pages were doing. I went to behavior, all content, all pages. And I noticed it's only showing me 19 pages out of the 93 I have indexed. And none of the top ones at all! Can't find them anywhere in GA! Anyone seen this before? Thank you so much

Something does not add up with WMTs search analytics data
we recently replatformed our main site and switched to https. For the first 2-3 weeks after we moved organic traffic was great, we did not lose any ( increased a little), but then it dropped off significantly. Attached is a screenshot from one of our main keywords that dropped off. You can see click (blue) and impressions (red) dropped off, and the position became unstable, but in the last week it has stabilised to about the same position it was before, but the clicking and impressions are still very low. The keyword is generic (for our industry) and there would not be any major seasonal changes in the search volume. I can't make sense of this data, could be be wrong? Kd3p5f9.jpg

Does traffic coming from Adwords increase overall Domain Authority or Page Rank?
If I'm setting up an Adwords campaign, will setting my homepage as the landing page boost my domain rank? and will the Page Rank of the landing page get boosted because of the high click rate coming from the Adwords campaign?
