Google Analytics: Deleted Profile
-
Has anyone ever successfully managed to have a deleted GA profile restored?
One of our client's profiles was deleted accidentally.
I know the official line is it can't be restored, but...

Let's just say there was something my, 'but...' assumption.
Official answer is no, unofficial may be different if you have friends in the right places (I personally don't, but I know a case where a deleted profile was restored.)

Do you have regular reporting process? If yes, Then please do following things
1. Analyze past trends, Make conclusion with consolidated changes, seasonality in data
2. Make summary Week Over Week, Month Over Month. Last Six Month would be ideal.
I think this is best you can do in this case.
If there was no such daily reporting. Then take it as oppurtunity & challange to redefine KPI's & Report formats.
Sometimes, Luck came in disguise

More 'New users' than 'Users' in Google Analytics
Hey Mozzers, I'm seeing more 'New users' than 'Users' in Google Analytics (see screenshot). This is over a 3 year time period. Any idea why new users would be greater than users? Thanks! 6lYmU0j

Google Analytics not Working on all pages despite many attempts
Hey gang, So this problem has been going on for months. None of our landing pages track, but all of our blog pages do. I've tried GA plugins, (we are on wordpress) and just now even put the code in the theme header script. Still to no avail. I just checked right now, and the blog pages have the global GA code, but now I noticed not even the home page has the code! Could it be something to do with my theme? I tried to pay a guy on upwork to fix but he couldn't fix it either. Thank you for you help!

Google Analytics to sub domains
Hi, I have a site xyz.com and two separate sites on sub domains xyz.com/abc and xyz.com/def. What's the best way to go about with GA such that I can get all the data in the same place. Should I use the GA code for xyz.com on sub domains as well? Or should I create separate profiles?

How to better track subdomains in Google Analytics?
Hello Everybody! so I am setting up a website that will have several subdomains, based on the language of the site, for example: site.com; es.site.com; fr.site.com... How should I trace this is GA but having attention that I should be able to see visits as a whole and also if I want I should be able to see visits per subdomain, anything on specific I should do when creating the account? And after creating the account, how to separate that accordingly? 🙂 Thank you all!

Google Analytics
Hello In Google analytics you can obtain the number of visits as a result of non-paid search. You can also set up custom reports to find the number of organic searches. The numbers are different, so what is the obvious difference between these two metrics that I'm missing. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Neil
