Link building service - linkfool

Hi,
quick question - has anyone ever used link building service called linkfool ? I was on another reputable seo information site and linkfool showed up, i checked it out and at the bottom site was an seomoz logo to insinuate partnership of some sort.
Anyway , if anyone has used this service, was it worth the investment

Link building has a bad connotation thanks to spamming black hats, outspoken link critics, and a myriad of other players in the market. You can follow that advice and still be quite successful with your website. However, link building done properly can be a powerful tool for your website growth and will make building your brand online easier. You can do link building yourself or you can work with a company like ours to develop a clean and professional offsite reputation with valuable links.
As a business owner or marketer you will at some point want to mention your website online. This helps the search engines recognize the relevance of your site and the popularity of it. Any link building company is being flagged by Google these days. If you're doing link building it needs to be independent and one offs and not share the same profile as other paid linking customers which is what you would get with a link building company.

Link building via Rafflecopter
I received an invite from a company to enter a contest for a chance to win a prize. The contest is run by Rafflecopter. Rafflecopter looks interesting because you can place the contest anywhere including social sites and your own website. Contestants can increase the chances of winning in various ways such as an FB like, tweet, etc. The largest number of points (for this particular contest) are awarded for linking from your website to their website. Given that the contestant must add the link to their website and the sponsoring company can not control whether they use nofollow, couldn't this contest approach to link building cause problems for SEO? If the contest included instructions to copy and paste the html with a nofollow, that would seem like a better solution, but the only guidance given was to link to their home page. Your thoughts? Out-of-season link building
Hi all, We have a couple of seasonal websites (Artificial Christmas trees). Now, its fairly easy to develop good content that people are interested in when the season is approaching, and even easier mid season. However, this somewhat stalls when everyone has had their fill of Christmas, between Jan and Sept. So, my question is, how would you suggest an approach to link building for a seasonal ecommerce site such as this? Obviously my aim is to develop links now, so when September comes, the site is up there. Thank you 🙂

In light of penguin - what are your thoughts on widget based link-building?
Hi all, I thought it would be interesting to see if people's perceptions of widget based link building have changed. By that I mean - Do you think it's ok to give somebody a tool to use oon their website with a reference to the creator of that tool or will that count as 'manipulative or unnatural' link building? I'll start the discussion off by saying... I think this type of link building is ok and legitimate as you are merely referencing the creator of the tool whose widget you are using on your website. My only caveat would be to ensure that the anchor text is not manipulative but relevant. Looking forward to hearing what you all think about this as I'm sure many people maybe put off by doing this.

When rebuilding a site, when should you start building links?
We are in the process of completely rebuilding our web presence. We went ahead and started a blog using Hubspot while we are redesigning everything and writing all new content. The new site will be live in early August. The question is when do we start making a big push with Linkbuilding? I am currently trying to promote the Blog but I'm wondering about linkbuilding for the rest of the site? Do we wait until the new site is live or do we start doing it now? The new site will be completely different from the old site?
