@CerenSEO, addressing SEO-related defamation can be tough, but there are actionable steps you can take. First, try contacting the website owner to request the removal of the harmful content. If that doesn’t work, consider seeking legal advice to explore options for a defamation claim, especially if the content is damaging. Utilize SEO tools like Moz to analyze backlinks and identify any suspicious activities that may be affecting your reputation. It's also crucial to document all instances of harassment, as this evidence can be valuable in legal proceedings. Lastly, focus on creating positive content to help push down negative search results and improve your online presence.
I also think that this is a right way to handle this issue. take screenshots from website, first contact website admin then also contact his domain hosting and domain provider

Dealing with SEO-related harassment and defamation can be tricky, but there are some steps you can take to mitigate the issue:
Removing Content: If the content is defamatory and public, getting it removed directly from Google is difficult. However, you can file a legal request if it violates local laws. Another approach is to push down negative results by creating positive content with proper SEO strategies, such as publishing blogs, social profiles, or other relevant content.
Identifying Techniques Used: You mentioned that the website is a PDF. Even PDFs can be optimized for SEO using backlinks, keywords, and meta tags. Tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush can help analyze the backlinks and SEO strategies applied to that specific content. Also, checking for hidden keywords or optimized metadata in the PDF can provide proof.
Proving SEO Manipulation: If you suspect someone is using SEO against you, documenting changes in search results over time can be useful. You can track keyword rankings, analyze backlinks, and monitor any new content or manipulative techniques through SEO analysis tools.
If you need more insight into SEO techniques and how they might be used, feel free to explore resources on digital marketing that cover these topics in detail.

Hi,
I am new here and I have an issue to solve. I do not anything about SEO.
My ex harasses me using SEO and causing defamation by crawling unwanted website. Google does not remove the website as it is public record.1: how can I remove it? I am not even sure if he uses backlink because website link is pdf and he might do some other technics
2:Although I am sure he uses SEO, I can not prove it and nobody believes me. How can I proof it?Unfortunately, removing public record websites from Google can be challenging. However, you can try the following steps:
Google's Removal Tool: Use Google's removal tool to request the removal of outdated or specific content, but it's limited to certain cases.
SEO Expert: Consult with an SEO expert who can analyze the situation, identify harmful backlinks or tactics, and help mitigate their impact.
Legal Advice: Consider seeking legal advice to address the harassment and potentially take legal action against your ex.
To prove the SEO tactics, an SEO expert can analyze the web activity to provide evidence of manipulation. -

Google search console 380,000 spam backlinks
Hi guys, I recently suffered a major negative seo attack against my site, with more than 380K spam backlinks using more than 5k domains. Because of this, I'm having serious problems tracking my site's statistics in GSC due to the limit of only 1000 query lines. Please, I need help on how I can get access to all these 5,000 domains in the search console so I can create a disavow list. Any tips on how to clean this up?

To hyphenate or not to hyphenate?
Quick question: does Google differentiate between terms that correctly include a hyphen (such as "royalty-free") and those that are incorrect ("royalty free")? I ask because the correct term "royalty-free"(with a hyphen) receives far less monthly traffic for the same term without the hyphen (according to Moz): Term | Estimated traffic
On-Page Optimization | | JCN-SBWD
"royalty free music" | 11.5-30.3K
"royalty-free music" | 501-850 If Moz views the terms separately then I'd guess that Google does too, in which case the best thing to do for SEO (and increased site traffic) would be to wrongly use "royalty free" without the hyphen. Is that correct?0 -
Should I "no-index" two exact pages on Google results?
Hello everyone, I recently started a new wordpress website and created a static homepage. I noticed that on Google search results, there are two different URLs landing on same content page. I've attached an image to explain what I saw. Should I "no-index" the page url? Google url.JPG In this picture, the first result is the homepage and I try to rank for that page. The last result is landing on same content with different URL. So, should I no-index last result as shown in image?

Google Search Console - Excluded Pages and Multiple Properties
I have used Moz to identify keywords that are ideal for my website and then I optimized different pages for those keywords, but unfortunately rankings for some of the pages have declined. Since I am working with an ecommerce site, I read that having a lot of Excluded pages on the Google Search Console was to be expected so I initially ignored them. However, some of the pages I was trying to optimize are listed there, especially under the 'Crawled - currently not indexed' and the 'Discovered - currently not indexed' sections. I have read this page (link: https://moz.com/blog/crawled-currently-not-indexed-coverage-status ) and plan on focusing on Steps 5 & 7, but wanted to ask if anyone else has had experience with these issues. Also, does anyone know if having multiple properties (https vs http, www vs no www) can negatively affect a site? For example, could a sitemap from one property overwrite another? Would removing one property from the Console have any negative impact on the site? I plan on asking these questions on a Google forum, but I wanted to add it to this post in case anyone here had any insights. Thank you very much for your time,
