  • Hi, I am having doubts about my search visibility on my brand key words, all of them have a constant rate of 32.50% and don't move up or down in months, even that when I track my site it has a great variety of organic entries each week. what can be the issue, if it's an issue, or why it's the search visibility not changing? Thanks for your responses.

  • Hi guys, One of our website (https://www.residentiebosrand.be/) has been online for about two months. It's indexed and Google shows search results. But the website is not ranking on the keywords it's supposed to be ranking: 'residentie bosrand'. How come we still don't find the website on the first pages in the search results, while these are the main keywords on the website's URL, page, ... ? Best regards,

  • Good morning, We are trying to rank our India based company which provides the following services
    Engineering Design Services
    Architectural Design Services
MEP Design Services Our target audiences are in the US and UK. Offcource, we are targetting above services keywords on most of our main pages and created dedicated services pages too. But lately, we found out that we are ranking well for keywords like Outsourcing Engineering Design Services, Outsourcing Architectural Design Services, etc... which are actually very very good keywords in terms of closing the leads/inquiries as people are actually looking out for outsourcing but the search count for those keywords is low. (though we closed 2 inquiries from those keywords). These pages we created in past just to increase the content of the website. I really want to give it a try to target those keywords by creating more pages, blog posts, backlinks, etc... My question is if we create more and more pages around those keywords then will it affect the rankings of the pages which are already ranking for those keywords or will the new pages compete against those pages or the new pages will help to boost current pages? We can write good content and blog posts on the outsourcing topic but not sure if we should create new pages or increase the length of the existing pages. Can you guys please help with some directions on this as I really don't want to take the wrong route. Look forward! Regards

  • Moz has tons of great tools, so I was quite suprised there is nothing similar to Alexa's siteinfo tool, or SimilarWeb's site comparison tool. Am I missing something? Or does such a tool exists at Moz? Or is there a different way of estimating my competitor's traffic? It would be great if Moz would have something like that.

  • Having a heck of a time finding info on this one... We're working on a multilingual website which uses WPML. I've used the All in One SEO plugin to customize meta data (title, description, etc). These strings do not appear in the list of translations in WPML. Does anyone have any experience with this setup? How do you enable WPML to translate meta data set via the AIO plugin? Thanks!

  • Hi, I have found that on one site I am working on seems to have issues when i run it through the on page grader. The problem is that it is saying I am showing the main keyword 24 times in the body, but actually it is 12 times. Could there be a problem on the website that is showing something I cant see, or is this a known issue. Thanks

  • Hi. I have a set of affiliate links on my website. That's 50 unique links in total. They are placed in a separate folder /go/, and are all nofollowed. My website has 100 pages. When doing a site audit I get a report with 50 affiliate links pr. page x100. That's a huge report. Is this really necessary? I can ofc. choose to ignore the automated reports, but I can't help but to think that there must be an easier way to keep track of it? Like, if Link 1-50 is located in /go/, they should automatically be nofollowed, regardless of where they are located on the root/sub domain. Bonus question: The format of the link is https://exampledomain.com/go/brandname I am wondering if I should add that "/" at the end of it. If yes, why? If no, why?

  • Hi All, I have been approached by someone to look at their website who has seen a rank drop over the last week of around 15 places. On a quick look at their website I have seen what I am imaging could be the culprit as I imagine it will be creating a re-direct loop. However, i am not 100% with these things so would like some others opinions.com They have a wordpress website. There home page lets say https://theirsite.com/ They have an internal page built for a search term https://www.theirsite.com/keyword In wordpress they have set that page in settings to be the homepage. However, I looked on their server and via htaccess they have a 301 redirect from https://www.theirsite.com/keyword to https://www.theirsite.com/ So the questions are: 1. Could this be creating a loop? 2. The redirect was placed around a week before the rank drop. Could this possibly be the cause of the drop? 3. I am assuming that removing the 301 from htaccess is recommended? Thanks in advance for any advice

  • One of our sites received a Manual Penalty for unnatural links by Google. However, we never received a message in Google Search Console or an email about the manual action. The only reason we knew about the penalty is by the obvious drop in rankings, then signing into search console to look for any manual actions, which we found. Since then, we have submitted a disavow file and a reconsideration request. However, once again we did not receive an email or message in search console that shows confirmation of the disavow or that they received the reconsideration request. The disavow file does show up after I upload it, and it says it was successfully uploaded... but no messages or emails. After many hours of investigating the various canonical versions of our website on Search Console, we found out that there were several “owners” of the various canonical versions of our site that had “could not find the email address” as a site owner. We found out that these were previous employees who no longer worked with the company and their email address was deleted. After unverifying these site owners, (all the ones that had “could not find the email address” as the site owner), the notifications, emails and messages in Search Console started to appear. However, the only place they did not appear, is the main canonical version of our site. Of course, the main canonical version of our site (https://www) is the version that we uploaded the disavow and reconsideration request. This is the canonical version of the site that we need to receive these messages to know if our reconsideration request was granted! We’ve just reuploaded the disavow file and reconsideration request to all of the other canonical versions (2 of the 3 received the message about the penalty)…. and we are currently awaiting a response. Has anybody else had problems with not receiving notifications in search console due to deleted email addresses?

  • I have recently joined an accounting firm and am in charge of SEO as we revamp the website. As this is the first time I've done SEO for this type of site, my question is: Should the keywords I choose include our Brand (name of the company) in the keyword. For example, I'm not trying to rank #1 for "Careers" but I do want to rank #1 for " <ourbrand>Careers". So, should I include the brand when doing my research, making lists, etc.?</ourbrand> If the question doesn't make sense, please ask for clarification.

  • I have 2 different websites: one have good amount of traffic and another have No Traffic at all. I have a website that has lots of valuable content But no traffic. And I want to move the content of non-performing site to performing site. (Don't want to redirect) My only concern is duplicate content. I was thinking of setting the pages to "noindex" on the original website and wait until they don't appear in Google's index. Then I'd move them over to the performing domain to be indexed again. So, I was wondering If it will create any copied content issue or not? What should i have to take care of when I am going to move content from one site to another?

  • Hi Mozers, I'm working on some Schema for a client of mine, but whilst doing the research on GeoShapes with my developer, we came across a potential issue with this particular mark-up. My client is B2C business, operating in numerous places across the UK. I want to use the Circle property from GeoShape to draw out multiple circles across the UK, but am I able to do this? From looking at some other websites, most seem to just have one GeoShape. Can I have multiple on the same page and same domain? Thanks! Virginia

  • Hi All, I am hoping someone might be able to help with this. Last week one of my sites dropped from mid first day to bottom of page 1. We had not been link building as such and it only seems to of affected a single search term and the ranking page (which happens to be the home page). When I was going through everything I went to search console and in crawl errors there are 2 errors that showed up as detected 3 days before the drop. These are: wp-admin/admin-ajax.php showing as response code 400 and also xmlrpc.php showing as response code 405 robots.txt is as follows: user-agent: * disallow: /wp-admin/ allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php Any help with what is wrong here and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks

  • I've got 15 critical crawler issues coming up, all of which are (  tel: )links to the contact phone number. As this is a taxi firm, these links are pretty vital to customer conversion. Should I worry about these issues from an SEO perspective? If so, is there anything I can do about it?

  • Just  just implemented SSL with a wild card cert and I got an email from google that my non-www cert is not valid. Any ideas ? SSL/TLS certificate does not include domain name https://electrictime.com/ To: Webmaster of https://electrictime.com/, Google has detected that the current SSL/TLS certificate used on <a>https://electrictime.com/</a>  does not include <a>https://electrictime.com/</a>  domain name. This means that your website is not perceived as secure by some browsers. As a result, many web browsers will block users accessing your site by displaying a security warning message. This is done to protect users’ browsing behavior from being intercepted by a third party, which can happen on sites that are not secure.

  • Hello, I was doing competitive research and our top competitor has a clean backlink profile that includes the Best Of The Web directory. The top people on this Q&A used to recommend them and DMOZ for the only true good directory links. Is this still true or is Best Of The Web less important now? We only are listed in a small handful of directories, and not anything recent besides DMOZ. Thanks, Bob

  • Dear all, Is this cache:www.subhavaastu.com is not working now with Google. Why it is not showing when the site is crawled. What were the new algorithms which Google is adopted? in my searches of all of my site internal links of www.SubhaVaastu.com, I observed only 404 instead of Google visiting time and date. After observing this 404 of each of my site links, I understand Google stopped crawling my site. Some more examples are shown below with other websites: cache:www.vastuwebsite.com ("NOT" showing when Google visited this site) cache:www.vastuconsultantusa.com ("NOT" showing when Google visited this site) cache:www.shubhavaastu.com ("NOT" showing when Google visited this site) cache:www.subhavastu.com (Showing when Google visited this site) To my surprise, I noticed that Google crawled latest links in my site, which I added a new link (https://www.subhavaastu.com/remove-negativity.html) just 10 days back, this new link was clearly crawled by Google. I typed "remove negativity subhavaastu", I saw the results with this new page in the SERP, but on the same way when I typed "cache:www.subhavaastu.com/remove-negativity.html", it is showing again 404. what is happening with Google, is Google is following any new algorithms now. Is google changed any new concept? or, is my site is penalized in any case, I think it may not be, because if my site is penalized, then Google should not visit the new links and should not show the results with my site. Coming with my site, its pure from viruses, no malicious codes. Indeed it's an article based site, which has a good reputation. This domain is taken in the year 2003. We never spam anywhere we never did any wrong methods. If my site is penalized, then is it manual penalized or bot penalized. I thoroughly checked webmaster tools and google console, I never found any notices or any note from Google. Require experts analyzation on this doubt. Thanks in Advance.

  • Is it possible for me to take my Google reviews and show them under my homepage as stars when my page is shown in search results.  I provide a service, so I don't have separate product reviews.  My homepage is what ranks most in the searches I target.  If this is possible, what is the best way to do it technically? • Hello Dear Community, I'm running a photography website and have a question about the indexability of "No indexed Content" inserted on indexable pages. Background : I read everywhere that best practice is to "no index" all useless pages with few content, what I did with Yoast plugin : I no indexed all my nextgen galleries and "ngg_tags" since they create single pages for every photo, tags or slideshow. I did the same for all my porfolio-posts, price lists, testimonials and so on... Nevertheless, I inserted these galleries and portfolios on SEO optimized page for my target keywords. + Nextgen plugin automatically adds these images in the page sitemap. My idea is to have only my Seo optimized page showing in Google and not the others. Problem: I've been checking the results in Google Search Console, filtering by images : I discovered that most of the images featured in these Masonry galleries are not showing in google, and actually almost all the images indexed are the Wordpress from media gallery. I double checked with Screaming Frog, and the software doesn"t see images on these pages. My question is: Is the low indexablilty of these contents are related to the No indexation of the original contents ??? Does somebody has experienced the same issue that these contents doesn't show on Google ? in advance many thanks for your help

  • Hey Everyone, I'm curious if anyone can provide some insight as to what my keywords should be for my website. Just as a quick heads up, my company, Back In Motion Sport & Spine Physical Therapy, is a physical therapy clinic that specializes in orthopedic, sport, and spine injuries. You can find my site here: www.backinmotionsspt.com That said, I understand about doing key word research and integrating that on the site. However, since I am a smaller practice should the end of the my key word entail my city of Fort Myers, FL. For instance, should my key words be the following: Orthopedic physical therapy Fort Myers, FL Sport Rehabilitation Fort Myers, FL Back Pain Relief Fort Myers, FL Or.... Should they just be: Orthopedic physical therapy Sport rehabilitaiton Back pain relief I look forward to hearing any and all feedback.

  • I want to get as much SEO juice as possible onto my site. Our partner who is the manufacturer has about 5 pdf's per product listed on their website already. What should I do to create content and drive the most traffic to my reseller site? 1. Should I do a direct outbound link to their PDF and Google will crawl that content to boost my keywords? 2. Should I download the pdf and then upload the exact PDF onto our site? Will Google know this is not my content and copied? 3 Should I copy and paste the PDF content and paste it into our sites product page directly? 4. Should I recreate the PDF by copying most of our content and use our branding/contact details? then upload or copy and paste that content onto our site? (obviously alot more work) We have MANY products and different suppliers but want a way to be better at SEO then our manufactures. Option to any more ideas or ways to cut down on as much work as possible while driving the most traffic. Thank you!

  • We have a page that is ranking organically at #1 but over the past couple of months the page has twice dropped from a search term entirely. There don't appear to be any issues with the page in Search Console and adding the page on https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url seems to fix the issue. The search term we're tracking that drops is in the URL for the page and is the h1 of the page. Here is a screenshot of the ranking over the past few months: https://jmp.sh/akvaKGF What could cause this to happen? There is nothing in search console that shows any problems with the page. The last time this happened the page completely dropped on all search terms and showed up again after submitting the url to google manually. This time it dropped on just one search term and reappeared the next day after manually submitting the page again. akvaKGF

  • I would like to hear from SEO agencies or link building teams - how you manage guest posting on behalf of your clients? 1. What is your outreach process - Do you pitch as a marketing manager or as a subject expert? 2. What do you mention in your author bio? Your name and your bio as outreach manager/ marketing manager? Your client's name and client's bio? A fake name - as a subject expertise? 3. Which email ID and contact details you use? - Your work ID/ client's ID/ Fake Gmail ID? I work for an SEO agency and I am interested in content and SEO related blog posts. But, I have many clients in the home improvement, real estate, food, fashion and other industries. I don't feel right to use my name when posting a guest blog on their behalf. What you guys prefer? Any thoughts?

  • The question is about the Yoast plugin for WP sites. Let's say I have a site with 200 pages and custom meta descriptions / title tags already in place for the top 30 pages. If I use the Yoast variable tool to complete meta content for the remaining pages (and make my Moz issue tracker look happier), will that only affect the pages without custom meta descriptions or will it overwrite even the pages with the custom meta content that I want? In this situation, I do want to keep the meta content that is already in place on select pages. Thanks! Zack

  • Hello All, I am currently spear heading SEO for a national franchise. I am coming across locations in the same city and zip code. I'm definitely finding difficulties in naming the location in a way that will be specific to the franchise locations (locations are 1 mile away from each other). I am looking to apply geo specific location names for each center regardless of local city terms.  (e.g. Apexnetwork of north madronna, Apexnetwork of south madronna) Also, building the website and location to read (apexnetwork.com/north-madronna….. apexnetwork.com/south-madronna) While encouraging the client to continue using the geo specific terms while writing blogs. Is this best practice? Any feedback would help.

  • Our site is being presented in mobile SERPS with a completely wrong sitename. Screenshot is attached. Despite confirming multiple times that "HYPR Biometrics" does not actually appear anywhere in the back-end, schema markup, or webmaster tools settings - Google still _decides _that this is the site name. It makes no sense at all and is driving us crazy. What can be done to correct this? I imagine this can be a major issue for companies who are completely misrepresented in SERPs. Our URL is https://www.hypr.com/ Thanks in advance for any advice. djNlfkt

  • Hi, I am getting an error on Moz campaign for 302 errors. The reason we have this redirection is because we have the website available in different languages and the website redirects to the language according to the area you are in. e.g. www.keyhub.com/en or www.keyhub.com/es I am guessing it might be a common issue for all the websites with multiple languages. Any solutions for this or should we just ignore this error? Thanks, Priyam
