Different SERP results in browsers / different result pages for keyword in browser

Hi,
I am making the SEO reports for a travel agency and I have the following problem.
SEOmoz shows me the website is on page 1, for a keyword.
Yesterday, a google search with firefox showed me the same position, while, searching from a different computer on google using firefox gave me another position. The URL shown was also different.
I asked some friends to do the search - the results were the same - first page.
Today, firefox shows me the second URL on the 4'th page, and the result from the first page of google does not appear, while Chrome still shows me the first URL on the first page.
I have no idea why the URL that was ranking well does not appear on the first page with Firefox, and why it appears on the first page with Chrome, or why the URL that was ranking bad -meaning page 4, appears on Firefox but does not appear on Chrome.
Can someone give me some advice?

Oki - now this is my conclusion - just in case someone else has this problem, or will have it and will try to find the answer on SEOmoz.
The website has two results for the same keyword, on different pages that compete between themselves. The browsers access different datacenters, and it seems that on some datacenters the page that ranks well was not updated. I also noticed that in some Google data centers some of my website's pages are not even indexed.
Solution: manual submitting these important seasonal pages to Google - wait for all the data centers to correlate the result.
Any other ideas are welcomed!

What tool can I use to find the top traffic-driving keyword for a batch of pages from multiple sites?
I thought I might be able to use Ahref's Batch Analysis for this, but that just gives stats on backlinks. I have a several lists of thousands of pages scraped for particular sets of keywords, but what I need is some way to automate fetching the biggest keyword that each page ranks for - biggest being the keyword that is estimated to drive the most organic traffic. Is there a tool out there that does something like this?

Tools for constant SERP monitoring?
Does anyone know of a tool where you enter in a [search term] and it constantly (or periodically) monitors the SERPs and reports back on the top results? IE- If you wanted to monitor for the term [trump] it would fetch that search result every hour or so and report those via an online interface or downloadable .csv

One client - 2 domains / same business - good or bad idea?
This is a follow up to a previous question actually: My client has one domain that has 'hardwood flooring' in it and one that has 'concrete polishing' in it - both services they offer. **Would it be wise (for seo purposes) to have them both point to ONE domain (more general of course) ** **- They only have a few local competitors that aren't doing anything to rank well. ** **- They aren't trying to rank nationally. ** If the smart thing to do is to have them point to one (more general) domain using a 301 direct will there traffic drop significantly? (at least for a short time) Does it matter if they continue to keep the existing domains they are using now on their literature, business cards, etc. and let them continue pointing to the new domain or should they really start promoting the new domain name? (They do NOT want to do this). My only concern is saving them time and money by not having to build links, submit articles, social media, on and on for two different sites OK, that's like 3 questions Thank you VERY much for any thoughts or opinions on the matter! 🙂 Have a great week everybody! How much time takes Google to Index a page in the search?
Hello all, I have created a page and published it 2 days ago and it does not appear in the Google Search.How much time can usually/on average take to index a page by Google in order to appear in the search results of a web search? months now with little results. I have had numerous answers and various
solutions to the issue, and I have followed through with them trying to solve

How to gauge competitiveness on niche keywords
I'm looking to create a website selling a specific niche range of products. For example 'hair extensions.' Using opensite explorer it's fairly easy to guage the competition for similar websites focused on this niche only e.g www.hairextensionsworld.com - I just look at their authority, number of incoming links, anchortext links etc. However, I'm finding it more difficult to guage the competition if a large merchant, for example Amazon, has a page ranking for a specific keyphrase I'm after. Often the large merchant doesn't have a lot of external links to the specific page, but nonetheless it has power from being on the domain of the large merchant. Are there any good tools / metrics for guaging the competition of such pages? Page authority I guess is one? Thanks
