Is it possible for a multi doctor practice to have the practice's picture displayed in Google's SERP?
-
Google now includes pictures of authors in the results of the pages. Therefore, a single practice doctor can include her picture into Google's SERP (http://markup.io/v/dqpyajgz7jkd).
How can a multi doctor practice display the practice's picture as opposed to a single doctor?
A search for Plastic Surgery Chicago displayed this (query: plastic surgery Chicago)
http://markup.io/v/bx3f28ynh4w5.
I found one example of a search result showing a picture of both doctors for a multi doctor practice (query: houston texas plastic surgeon).

Hi Cake Website,
I'm looking into whether the query in your example would be in danger of being removed. I'll return as soon as I have a good answer.
Miriam
Update:
Hi Again Cake Website.
Here are the only guidelines I could find:
http://www.google.com/+/policy/content.html
Cyrus Shepard kindly pointed them out to me. They state:
"Your Profile Picture cannot include mature or offensive content. For example, do not use a photo that is a close-up of a person’s buttocks or cleavage."
You might like to check out this article by Anne Smarty on the subject of using logos as profile pics:
And, apparently there was one instance of Google cracking down on an individual who made an obscene gesture in his profile:
http://parislemon.com/post/14907295522/dear-google
Right now, it seems Google is allowing just about anything in profile pics with a few exceptions, so you can at least start out with your practice's photo. Whether it might get removed in future, I can't really say because the guidelines are not very detailed. Hope this is at least of some help to you in deciding your next move.

Thank you for your response. Let me try to clarify my question.
Our clients our plastic surgeons. We have a few practices that have more than one doctor practicing at that location. For our group practices, I want the author picture to be of all the doctors. So, when someone searches for plastic surgery and our practice is listed, I want the group picture in the SERP also.
For example, the search query for Houston Plastic Surgery is this http://markup.io/v/c8yq0r2tqk0h. Museum District Aesthetic Plastic Surgery has a profile picture of both doctors because two doctors work there.
I want to be able to recreate what Museum District Aesthetic Plastic Surgery did. Has anyone had success with a profile picture displayed in a SERP of more than one person?

This is sort of confusing as to what you are trying to accomplish. However I think I may understand as to what you are asking. If so, I believe this doctors picture only shows for one general field of practice? and you want to show for multiple practices?
This will depend on what your "Author Profile" contains regarding bio information, I would have to assume. This can be achieved using a Google + account.
Insert this code into the header of an article you publish on your website or anywhere on your website. (After you have properly setup your google + profile)
[(insert ID# -- https://plus.google.com/**11011000110101101**/about --)">About (**Doctors Name**)](https://profiles.google.com/<span style=)
Make sure to remove all underlined text but keep the 'bolder' sections after you find the appropriate info.
**Hope this helps!** ```

Weird behavior with site's rankings
I have a problem with my site's rankings.
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | Mcurius
I rank for higher difficulty (but lower search volume) keywords , but my site gets pushed back for lower difficulty, higher volume keywords, which literally pisses me off. I thought very seriously to start new with a new domain name, cause what ever i do seems that is not working. I will admit that in past (2-3 years ago) i used some of those "seo packages" i had found, but those links which were like no more than 50, are all deleted now, and the domains are disavowed.
The only thing i can think of, is that some how my site got flagged as suspicious or something like that in google. Like 1 month ago, i wrote an article about a topic related with my niche, around a keyword that has difficulty 41%. The search term in 1st page has high authority domains, including a wikipedia page, and i currently rank in the 3rd place. In the other had, i would expect to rank easily for a keyword difficulty of 30-35% but is happening the exact opposite. The pages i try to rank, are not spammy, are checked with moz tools, and also with canirank spam filters. All is good and green. Plus the content of those pages i try to rank have a Content Relevancy Score which varies from 98% to 100%... Your opinion would be very helpful, thank you.0 -
Images not appearing in Google Images SERPS
Hi there We pushed a new version of our website live more than 6 months ago. So far, none of the images that are in the product gallery on this page http://www.ingleandrhode.co.uk/bespoke-rings/inspiration/ are appearing in the Google Images SERPS (I tested this by searching Google Images for "site:www.ingleandrhode.co.uk"). I understand that the gallery uses Javascript, so Googlebot doesn't see the image files in the HTML, but in Webmaster Tools, if I "fetch as Google" with rendering, this suggests that Googlebot does see the gallery images. My website developer tried adding an image sitemap about two weeks ago, which is being indexed, but so far this hasn't made any difference. Any suggestions on what needs to be done for these gallery images to start appearing in Google Images SERPS? Many thanks!

Why is /home used in this company's home URL?
Just working with a company that has chosen a home URL with /home latched on - very strange indeed - has anybody else comes across this kind of homepage URL "decision" in the past? I can't see why on earth anybody would do this! Perhaps simply a logic-defying decision?

Is it a good or bad idea (in Google's eyes) to add a forum to my website?
I have an active website with many users adding dozens of comments on the many pages of the site daily. I'm am wondering if it would be good for the overall ranking strength of the site if I were to add a forum to it (in a subdirectory, like forum.mysite.com). On one hand, I can see the forum posts as thin content, which Google wouldn't care for. On the other hand, I see the additional user engagement on the site, which I think Google would like. I know the benefits it can have to the users, but for this question, all I want to know is if this would be seen by Google as a plus or a minus for my site, assuming the forum succeeded in becoming popular. I don't want to do anything that will diminish the value of my site in Google's eyes. Thank you.

What to do when all products are one of a kind WYSIWYG and url's are continuously changing. Lots of 404's
Hey Guys, I'm working on a website with WYSIWYG one of a kind products and the url's are continuously changing. There are allot of duplicate page titles (56 currently) but that number is always changing too. Let me give you guys a little background on the website. The site sells different types of live coral. So there may be anywhere from 20 - 150 corals of the same species. Each coral is a unique size, color etc. When the coral gets sold the site owner trashes the product creating a new 404. Sometimes the url gets indexed, other times they don't since the corals get sold within hours/days. I was thinking of optimizing each product with a keyword and re-using the url by having the client update the picture and price but that still leaves allot more products than keywords. Here is an example of the corals with the same title http://austinaquafarms.com/product-category/acans/ Thanks for the help guys. I'm not really sure what to do.

Restructuring Menu's
Hi all I am running my site on Wordpress using a slightly modified them from Studiopress on the Genisis frame work. I am extremely over my head but alas until I get some revenue SEO and Design are all on me. I do not know HTML or CSS but I do follow directions well (unless you ask my wife). Disclaimer out of the way I have some questions. I would like to change up my menu's to be more on the line of Products | Services | About Us | Contact Us | Blog Listing various direct mail pieces under Products, Sevices and so on and so forth. I wonder does this mean I will have to figure out how to write 301's and other complicated things or can I just make the changes. I think but might be wrong that this will change the URL's. Any advice before I mess this up would be greatly helpful. My site is http://www.roiautosolutions.com. If you want a few laughs about the car business read the 2 most recent blog post, anything before that and my writing style is pretty boring. Thanks, Mark Hilger
