Knowing that pointing links to your website with only your targeted term is toxic how on earth do you defend against a third party site pointing a link to your site using the very term you dont want to over do.
Put another way... imagine you have a site ranking well for say target term "cordless drills". You then notice multiple sites who you have zero control over has pointed links to your site using that target term. So my question is...
"How do you block an incoming link if the site administaror doesnt head your cries to take out the targeted pharse in the link"
Any insights welcome

The eternal problem of an online marketer and I have faced this problem countless times. Quite true we have zero control over them and the good news is that Google will not pay any heed to you. Usually what Google says is that if you have not built those links, you do not need to care about them but at the same time, they also say that if you believe that these links are causing you harm, you can use Disavow Links option to make Google aware of the fact that you do not trust those links coming from those sites.
_So, it is a tough game. But as you said that the links are coming with exact anchor text, I would recommend you checking the quality of the links because you may never know that these may be actually [I know you are good at it] adding value to your website. Once you are confirmed that the links are spammy, go ahead and give the Disavow Link a go. _

UK Times Pay wall effect on links?
Hi all Our PR agency has obtained a few inbound links from the UK's Times website. This is a great website with a very high DA, however they have a pay wall. My question is does the paywall counteract the efficacy of the links into our site? It would be good to know because if they aren't having the desired effect on rankings then I'll ask our PR agency to focus their efforts on other national newsapers. Thanks

Is there a difference between .com backlinks and .co.uk?
(We are a UK based business) I am currently looking for sites for guest posting opportunities and I am not sure whether I should prioritize .co.uk sites or go for .com sites. Does it matter? Is more weight given to .co.uk sites if you are based in the UK?

If you had someone working for you for $10-12 an hour, what would you have him or her do?
I was recently promoted to director of marketing for a small business that focuses primarily with online e-commerce sales. I need help assigning someone who makes $10-12 dollars an hour. If you were assigning this person to do SEO work, what would you have them do? Note that this person does not have any previous internet marketing knowledge, but they are a college graduate and can read in write in perfect English.

How to improve (ASAP) the linking root domain, the followed linking root domains and the linking C-Blocks? Linkbuilding (or whatever) techniques.
I have a small site (.com) like any website in my sector. 30-90 pages. I have no crawls errors. Everythings is fine, just I need to improve my linking root domain, the followed linking root domain and the linking C-Blocks. Example: my competitors have 300 (one of them have 1300) of total links. I have 30. Anyone know some good strategies? techniques? tips? I just dont want to be in a farm directory, I want free links. I'm already running two strategies but it works so slowly. I want something faster at this moment. Also, any recommendation will be thankful.
