Google+ Local Assistance (Listings being reviewed)

Hey guys,
My client is having issues with his Google+ pages and I'm wondering if someone can shine some light on the issue for me...
Basically the client has two businesses, both using the same residential address. The page was ranking well until a week ago, when it disappeared from search results and was listed in the dashboard as "Under Review."
I've heard horror stories about this -- examples of Google taking months to review pages and make a decision, and I'm wondering if if might be better to just delete the under review pages and start over (hiding the address on the new listing to comply).

Edward, yep i'd delete those listings and start afresh hiding the address.

Thanks - I know the guidelines, but did not know the business was located in a residential area, and am wondering where to go from here -- delete and start over, or wait for Google. I've heard horror stories on the waiting process.

If the business is a service provider (We come to you, only), and the residential building is just where the service provider lives.. Then you must hide the address in your Google Places settings.

Apparently now OK to use PO boxes to optimize local search?
I've always stood behind what I thought was Google's policy of not recognizing PO boxes. But it seems like all you have to do now is create one and take 2 seconds to create a low-quality G+ page. The below link is to a screenshot that shows my guy (yay new, high quality site with growing, relevant, authoritative content!) just out of the local results. He's not technically in Athens, so we knew it was an uphill battle. What's annoying though is the low-quality G+ PO box result above him. https://www.diigo.com/item/image/4bxh7/yi1x I know the PO Box result is not great in a vacuum in terms of conversion, but fact is if it's just phone numbers you're after they're at a distinct advantage, with no effort. For my client, we've indicated in G+ that he has a service area that extends into Athens. If Google is now favoring G+ results, I'm wondering if my guy should get a PO box instead? yi1x

Google Shopping
i am searching a tool which shows me the price ranking of my products in google shopping. that means when i type in a product which i sell in google shopping on which place is my ranking for this product. google has a free api to read this out but i just cant find a service that shows my ranking.

My Google Places get mixed with another similar business
I'm having this issue with the keyword "miami printing" raking local for Miami, FL. My website is miamiprintingfl.com and part of my listing, photo, some reviews and etc, belongs to another listing miami-printing.net that last domain is not working at all. Is there anyway to solve this problem? Creating a custom google map with spreadsheet
Hi Hi, I recently saw the Seomoz Webinar "All About Google Places", and there was the advice to make a custom map with google spreadsheet. I tried it, but it hadn't worked. Google Places ranking not making sense
With regard to the proximity to the city centre if you google 'chartered accountants swansea' you will see that the 2nd google places listing 'drpaccountants' are located way out of the city centre and they have no photos, reviews etc Where as on my listing it has a 100% completed profile but am way down the results, when many of the top places results are very basic http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=chartered%2Baccountant%2Bswansea&source=web&cd=6&ved=0CGIQFjAF&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.harrisbassett.co.uk%2F&ei=sp-mTraQEoiz8QPBqMzVDw&usg=AFQjCNG1C-xsNxgM6vWj1geoxv_u4KbD0g What else needs to be done apart from getting reviews? I have added lots of local citations to the likes of Yelp, Qype, Hotfrog etc but none are showing under the listing on google places? Also is there a reason why the description field is not being populated in the google places account? As from some of the other top places listings it seems to be picking this up from their website? The other issue is under the dashboard it displays 0 impressions and 0 actions is this normal? What is my places listing missing or have I done everything I possibly can and just have to wait for Google to re-rank the places results? I

What's the deal with this local business directory? (http://www.camerchants.com/)
They have a couple listings of us with screwy info but i can't actually use their website, all the buttons that say "join" or "write a review" "uplaod an image" etc, are just an href="#" and don't actually do anything??? I figured maybe they have some broken javascript so i tried using different browsers (firefox & chrome in mac, and IE in windows.) Local search optimization for national product?
Hi all, My company sells a direct-to-consumer product nationwide. We have competitors that sell through local distributors. Therefore, many customers think that this is a product that must be bought locally. Because so many people search for this product locally, we want to be able to rank for local searches. But, because we sell nationwide, we don't have localized content. We have a competitor that created a page for each state which lists every zip code and city name in the state, but that seems pretty labor intensive (and not all that effective). Any ideas on how to address this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks!
