Am I at risk of EMD penalty?
-
I bought a domain name drivingtest,DOT,ca and planning to move (301 redirect) one of my established site (4k daily unique) to it. The site is about written driving test Q&A in Canada.
Am I at risk of EMD penalty if I use that domain name? by the way 'driving test' is not my targeted keyword.
Many thanks for people responses.

No you are not.
EMD penalties are for the ones that abuse that. ie: have several EMD pointing to the same site; have the entire site flooded with the keyword, etc.

U.S. Vs. Canada search volume
How does Moz differentiate Canadian data vs. U.S. data? I'm particularly interested in search volume. Why is there such a big difference in volume (much less in Canada)? Is this due to population differences or are there other factors? For example, see the monthly volume for the keyword "Business resilience": U.S. = 360

Inconsistent Keyword Search Volume & Difficulty Across Tools (e.g., Moz, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, Semrush)
Hi there, Moz Community! I'm reaching out for some guidance on keyword research discrepancies. I'm currently targeting the keyword "sui gas bill" for my blog, sngplbill, which focuses on information related to Sui gas bills. I've used several keyword research tools, including Moz, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, and Semrush, and each platform provides different search volume and keyword difficulty scores: Moz: No search volume data, Keyword Difficulty (KD) 24
Keyword Research | | Faizali.786
Google Keyword Planner: Search volume 100k-1M, Difficulty (Low)
Semrush: Search volume 90k, KD 31
Ahrefs: KD 1 (Very Easy)
These varying results are causing some confusion. Ideally, I'd like to understand which platform offers the most reliable data for search volume and keyword difficulty. Here are some additional details that might be helpful: My target location: Pakistan My Questions: What factors might contribute to these discrepancies in keyword data across different tools?
Considering my niche (Sui gas bill information in Pakistan), which platform would you recommend for the most accurate search volume and keyword difficulty estimates?
Are there any additional factors to consider beyond search volume and keyword difficulty when selecting keywords for content strategy?
Any insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Potential traffic
Hi! I am curious what is the Moz equivalent of "potential traffic" metric in Ahrefs? Is there any keyword metric I can check in Moz to receive data on potential traffic rather than only volume? Thanks in advance!

Brand or company name
Hello Let s' say i am working for a multiservice company , sort of general contractor. We have a website using company name . Myccompany.com I ve been asked to make a new website owned by the same company but specific to the multisites multitechnic maintenance activity , which has beeger clients with specific needs seo wise, is it better to call the seconde site myccompany-maintenance.com or to give a brand to the activity and call it let's say newcompany.com (by myccompany ) I would go for the second solution to avoid confusion in the the serp ? is it good to reuse the brand in domains ? ( small company ) I hope my question is clear 😄 I l listen to any advice , tks !

Best techniques For EMD Ranking in 2013
OK. I know some will say "same as any other SEO". But I am keen to get one of my sites ranking for it's EMD. Nothing I do seems to be working at all. As far as I can tell it's not even in the top 100. Because the site is managed for a business, it needs income. I've managed to increase it's ranks in some low terms.

Penalty for on-page optimizing too many pages?
Hey in the process of building a new site in the fitness niche - targeting keywords such as: <colgroup><col width="387"></colgroup>

how to get a flat stomach
how to get rid of belly fat fast
how to get rid of belly fat for women
how to get rid of love handles fast
how to get skinny
how to have more energy
how to loose weight fast
how to lose love handles
how to lose love handles fast
| how to lose lower belly fat | All these keywords get decent search volume. My question, alot of the content for these keywords would be similar for example - "how to get a flat stomach", "how to lose love handles" and "how to get skinny" would pretty much have similar content. I could build a single page for all these keywords but i loose all the ranking benefits from doing on-page optimization such as creating a page for each of these keywords and optimizing it for each of these keywords (e.g. putting the keyword in the URL and Title) But if i build individual pages, to me it doesn't look natural optimizing multiple pages for the keyword terms, plus i loose the benefits of building a single page (e.g. less costly, not as much outreach activity required, etc) You could argue however that if you create individual pages for each of these keywords you are addressing the query directly as theres a slight difference between "how to lose love handles and how to get a flat stomach. But i guess thats up to google to decide. So how would you approach this? Cheers, Chris0
