Where I can place a banner/message in my site telling I have a new website?

Where I should place a banner or a message in my old site to tell user that I have a new website?
Thanks in advance!

If you want to be subtle about it, then just display a simple horizontal message at the top of the browser window as Cyto references. It isn't in your face, but it is noticable. Leave a small "X" for people to close the message bar and make the bar itself clickable to link to your new website(s).
If you want to really let everyone know, then create a slider image/graphic and place right smack dab in the middle of the Home page and have it scroll with your other images/graphics. Make the graphic clickable to the new website(s).
In my opinion, I would go with the more subtle approach as the visitors will see the site pushed down a little with the message bar clearly having an X to close and a text blurb about the new site and a CTA to click to visit. Also, this will show on all pages from where the visitor lands.

No, the old site will stay live. We just want to inform users that one of our divisions from our old site will be migrated to a whole new site with a new brand and domain name.

Yes, but we will not remove the website. We just want to inform users that one of our divisions will be migrated to a whole new site with a new brand and domain name.

Will your old site be replaced with the new website? If so, I would place the message on top, so it appears above the header. This message pushes the site down
The message could have a 'continue' button and once clicked, it will dissapear pushing the site back up. This way, everyone will see it no matter what landing page they arrive.

Is anyone aware of stats stating how many people abandon pages the deeper they get in a site?
For example, let's say someone enters via a landing page, and instead of having a form there is a button to a form. What percentage of people will click the button and fill out the form vs if the form was right there on the page? Basically, I am trying to figure out what percentage of users do websites lose for every click a user makes on the site.

Why Google Analytics is still showing data for edited/old "Goals"?
For example, I edited "Goal #1" (goal type=event) with new values/event conditions last Nov. 20, 2014. Why Google Analytics is showing numbers from Nov 1-19 for Goal #1? Does Google Analytics show old data?TIA!

Any providers offering a/b testing using JS callbacks?
Hi all, I am looking to test the impact of buy button wording on conversion rate. The website in question has a few thousand products on non-dynamic URLs. The common a/b testing products on the market restrict tests to a single URL, or you have to enter all the URLs being tested which isn't practical. Ideal Solution What I'd really like to do is: use the provider's web app to configure an experiment with a name and a description of the variations; use some JS code to run the experiment with a callback to carry out the variation. This would allow me to easily put this code on the product details page template. I've written example code below for how this would look. When the experiment is run, the provider's framework would a) tell my code what variation to run, and b) handle the measuring of conversion rate. Questions Are there any providers which work like this? Is there an alternative solution on the market? If there isn't someone already doing this, would it be useful to anyone else? How can I pass the Search Term into a lead form?
We receive lead forms from interested visitors that include their name, email, grade level, and academic goals, and we would like to also know which specific phrase they used when searching for us. I need to find a way to grab the referring keywords and pass them as a hidden form field. Can this be done, and are there scripts available that can do this?

Re Opening Question......Strange Visitors To Website
Ooppps, Looks like I closed this question a little early. So, I will give it another run. I paid to have some link work done...... (now I know better) Anyway, now there are several links and quite alot of traffic going to the site....... Unfortunately now my bounce is going up..... because online games really has nothing to do with Concrete Pumps and Pump Parts.... go figure. What is a logical next step to correct the problem. Thank You!

Lookiing for examples of local "small biz" sites with phone or contact form conversion points
Hi Guys, I'm looking for any good examples of small business sites that you've come across that do a good job at converting potential visitors to clients. I'm primarily thinking about service oriented business such as Doctors, Dentists, Salons, Clothing stores, small restuarants, car detailing services, local photographers, etc. I'm just trying to digest other examples and look for new inspirations.
