Are RSS fees tracked by Google Analytics?
-
In both the new GA and former version, how are RSS feeds handled by Google Analytics.
If not, is there an easy means by which to account for this traffic, in order to have a better picture of traffic.
Thanks.

You can't track accesses to your feeds as simple as you track pageviews. You still can see the traffic coming from you feeds.
If you are using XML feeds in plain text, then there's nothing you can do to track impressions. However, if you use some scripting language to build the feed, (if you are using wordpress you are) then you can use some server side counting including sending a track pageview to Google Analytics while the scripts prints the feed.
Here's an example on how you can accomplish that: http://suefeng.net/blog/google-analytics-rss-feed-tracking/
Hope that helps!

Google Analytics, Wordpress, Sumo - who to trust
Something is wrong. I have a website that according to Google Analytics gets zero relevant clicks, with most of the clicks it does get coming from Russia. Wordpress says it gets a hundred or so visitors a month, with most traffic going to the pages that I know rank. Sumo says the heat map got 76 clicks. How would you figure out what's really going on?

Mobile Site on Google Analytics
Hi mozzers, We just launched a mobile site and I was wondering what are the main steps to follow for gettting your mobile site tracked via GA (m.example.com)? We have a profile for www.example.com GATC: javascript or PHP to install? Should the profile be on a subdomain? What else to consider when implementing a mobile site on GA? Thanks

Google Analytics session update question
Hello, With reference to seomoz blog post - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/panda-24-and-analytics-session-update-rolled-out-simultaneously#jtc151292 , i would like clarification about the following - User searches Google for "Product Name" and clicks on your AdWords advertisement. User leaves site and searches a few more times, click on competition and comparing prices and features. User ultimately decides to with your product, Googles "Your Brand + Product Name", clicks your organic listing, and buys the product. This whole process takes less than 30 minutes. "Your Brand + Product Name" will appear in your organic keyword report with 1 visit. My question is whether "Product Name" will also appear in organic keyword report with 1 visit if the visitor is not signed in. ( as search won't be encrypted ) Thanks
