Anyone heard of or used Hadoop software for SEO/website analytics?

Hey Moz Community,
We received an interesting email this morning from a client's marketing manager asking if we knew about or have ever used "Hadoop software" because "[Business owner name] says it’s supposed to help us see how people use our website and more."
I've never heard of this software and upon looking around on the web, it says it can do a lot, but my client is a small law firm who average 800-1,000 visitors per month, mainly from their 2 local office cities/markets.
Anyone have any thoughts on this or ever use this software? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your input, Martijn. This is exactly what I was thinking after reading up more about it. Small business wouldn't benefit from this type of software, nor do I think they could afford it.

Hi Patrick,
I've definitely heard from Hadoop, but if the site has 800-1000 visits a month then you're trying to scale issues that are really not useful with Hadoop in relation to the size of your site. Hadoop is really for big data for sites I would say starting at 800k - 1million. It's also by far not a plug and play tool like any other tool and you have to configure a lot with probably a lot of related costs.

Google Analytics Numbers Are Weird
Hi, I'm having a strange problem from past one month. My website gets about 10k pageviews a month with an average bounce rate of 50%. Lately, I observed a strange thing. The avg time on page of visitors from selected countries is less than 1 second and the bounce rate is zero!! How is this possible? Using logical operators (AND / OR) in Google Analytics Goal Funnels
When setting up a Funnel within Google Analytics, is it possible to use logical operators (e.g. OR, AND) in the first (required) step of the funnel? For example, suppose I want to track users who visit page1.html AND page2.html before proceeding to the destination goal. I've entered two pages separated by the OR operator, and neither the "Verify this Goal" nor "Save" produces an error message - is it safe to assume that this is working as I intend? When I click an outgoing link from Analytics - why are they all broken?
On one of my websites, if I visit the Behavior > Site Content section of Anayltics any link I try to open is broken. Google Analytics is appending the domain before every URL causing it to open in a popup but as a broken link. Example: Trying to click a link to a page on the website at this URL: http://www.thisisanexample.com/test.html But in the Analytics popup browser this is what it tries to load: www.thisisanexample.comhttp://www.thisisanexample.com/test.html So I can't preview any of the content within Google Analytics. I feel like this is a settings issue somewhere... Any ideas?

Most of the goal conversion in Google analytics showing under referral

Alternative to Google Analytics
Hi from sunny Manchester! I'm looking for recommendations for alternatives to GA. I'm specifically looking for something which won't sample data and will give us accurate numbers. Our site is pretty big, it receives 6 million+ visits and 50 million+ pageviews/year. Any recommendations would be greatly received together with any good/bad experiences you've had with them. Help with Analytics
Afternoon all - I hope someome might be able to help me getting some data out of Google Analytics. I want to try pull a report which will show me both what the last page before a goal completion was and the country that generated the click. Is that possible at all? When I go to look at goals, I can only pull data for the last page before the goal click ... and when I look at my goals in the Pages>Content menu, I can only view country. So is there any way of pulling the two set of data together at all? Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thanks very much, Simon
