PPC Keyword list
-
Hi
Im embarking on a PPC campaign targeting one single product that we sell. I am compiling a key word list just now and was just wondering if there is a maximum number of keywords i should be looking to target for this?
Thanks in advance

Hi
I know this is a bit late, but I just wanted to follow up in case you were doing this again in the future.
There will always be high volume queries out there, but your goal with starting a campaign for one product is likely to make sure that product is a viable source of profit. I would suggest starting out with the most specific queries first, then moving "up the funnel" to more vague, less specific queries. This doesn't even have to be done all at once. This can be done in stages if you are trying to launch fast.
So if you're selling a specific electronic device, you can start with the specific model number, then to the most common name for that specific device (in the case of Phones, you could call it the G3 instead of LGVX####), then to manufacturer and the most general of queries (like "new phone").

In our opinion,
Distil all the keywords to a handful, Your budget will be swallowed whole if your not careful, pick the best and just stick to to those. Set your initial budget high for a week and then drop it way down, once you start to see which words work best. Make sure your adverts are linked to the right page and use keyword destination URLs. Check the quality score for the keyword. If it's a low score, revisit. Final thought, don't tweak daily unless you can see a problem that is costing money. Leave the campaign alone for 7 days and then revisit.

No not really. Be aware that you make good keyword groups. for example. if you are targeting fruit and have keywords like "buy fruit, buy fresh fruit, good fruit, fruit products" but also "apples, good apples"
Don't make 1 campaign or one big list.
separate those. This can even go further, personally i make groups for almost al different keywords. "Fruit shop" and "fruit store" are in my case in different add groups.
If you follow that way, your unlimited in number of words. and its still with a clear and clean overview.

Correlating Form Submissions to PPC vs Organic - COA
I currently don't use a landing page model. From either Adwords or Organic you reach our site, find the event product that appeals to you, and then fill out the form. I need a way to determine which of those form submissions came from Organic Vs Paid so I can calculate my cost of customer acquisition (COA). Via Google Analytics I can see that X amount of Organic were submitted and X of Paid. If I get 5 submissions in one day there isn't an efficient way to correlate the form submissions to the medium. Any suggestions on an attribute method that would help me sort out COA?

Product listing Ads and the product descriptions. How much of a factor is this in visibility?
I've scoured the web trying to find some proof of whether the product listing text uploaded to GMC is in fact a factor in showing up or whether its just the title that matters. Basically, does anyone know if the product descriptions play a large factor in showing up or is it just the landing page text and the title? I also wonder just how much text is worth putting there, it seems there is a 500 character limit.

AdWords Negative Keywords
Hello community! I got a bit stuck with negative keywords management today! I have updated the negative keyword list and as it can be shared among all my active campaign I put it into the shared library. But when I downloaded the recent changes on Editor I can't get to see the new negatives and I can't check their match types. Do I have to upload the list on Editor for each campaign? Thanks

Need help regarding to get rank for “Product listing Ads” on perticular keyword
I have one project Canvas Champ and we have been running Google shopping campaign for this project and we are getting good visits from some of the keywords. But our client has sorted out some keywords having high search volumes like “Canvas Prints” Now, We want to show our Product listing Ad for this keyword. Let me make you aware about our past efforts: We have set an auto target in Google Adwords for this particular product and make its bid around $8 and we have reviewed that product in listing for 2 days, but we didn’t see our Product Listing Ad on Google Search Result for this keyword. So Now, My concern is that, How can we show our Product listing Ad on Google SERP for this particular keyword “Canvas Prints”? Let me know if you have any confusion with my question. It would be really appreciated if I would get valuable inputs for the same. Thanks,

Adwords Keyword Quality Score changes when keyword is paused
Today I was pausing a bunch of low quality score keywords for a client, the thing is, once I paused the keywords, the quality score would immediately change. For example, a number of keywords that had a QS of 3 while they were running, immediately changed to 1 once paused. Out of curiosity I un-paused one of them and it remained at 1. Has anyone else experienced this and/or have an explanation? Cheers

How to set up Adwords Account for Keyword Research
Hello, At the advice of some knowledgable people around here, we are setting up a $200-$300 Adwords campaign to determine keyword research. Our site is already doing well but we want to make sure we are targeting all the appropriate terms. What do we need to keep in mind in setting up this campaign. I assume we would do some broad match terms with a bunch of negative matching. Thanks!

PPC Keyword Ranking
The SEOmoz PRO tool shows how keywords rank in the organic part of the SERPs. Does anyone know if there is another tool out there that shows the same thing for ranking in the ads section of the SERPs? Also, does anyone know the winning lottery numbers (any lottery will do, I'm not fussy!). Thanks Neil
