Moz Local & Fourscare
-
Hi! I hope I didn't just mess myself up. I signed up for Moz Local, but I already had a foursquare account. I did authenticate it... but then I read that maybe I shouldn't have done this. Did I mess it up? If so, can I correct it?

Hi Calico,
If you entered the email address associated with your Foursquare account and then got the message that you no longer had any accounts needing authorization, then it sounds to me like you're good to go. However, if you have any doubts about this, please feel free to start a ticket in our Help Hub so that you can privately share your account details with our Help Team, just so we can double check for you. To start a ticket, go here: https://moz.com/help/contact and choose the blue 'Local' link and then include in your ticket:
-
The email address associated with your Moz Local account
-
The name, address, phone number and website of your business
-
A summary of your question
Via the Help Hub, we will be able to pop into your account and take a look, just to be sure all looks well.
Hope this helps!

So, just to make sure, will it merge with what I already had there? I was just concerned that it would make a duplicate listing.
-
Hi Calico!
Then that sounds like you did just the right thing and are good to go. Once you've authorized Foursquare, that enables us to push your data out to that platform. Sounds to me like you're right on track:)
-
That is what I did. It now says
You don’t have any listings that need Foursquare authorization.
You have 1 listings managed by 1 account.
-
Hi Calico:)
Of the 7 partners in our network, Foursquare is the one that requires that you take an extra step, via the Moz Local dashboard, of authenticating the listing. You would do so by clicking the 'Foursquare Authentication' tab in the left navigation menu of the Moz Local dashboard and the following the steps from there. Is this what you did, or are you saying that you did something else? Please let me know!

Unsolved Moz Local keeps deleting my suite number
Hi, I entered my address on my Moz Local profile but it keeps either (1) deleting my suite number, or (2) not syncing my suite number at all to any of the websites to which it's connected. I've tried putting the suite number in Address Line 1 with the address, and by itself in Address Line 2. I've also tried typing out Suite, Ste., STE, STE., etc. - nothing works and the suite number keeps getting deleted. Very frustrated, please help.

Hello! My place of business, Widewail in Burlington, VT, is not being scanned by Moz Local, even though we have an active Facebook business page with our Name, Address, and Phone number listed (URL, too). Moz Local not finding Facebook page
I've got a listing on Moz Local - www.carolinasmilesnc.com. It finds most listings OK. When looking for other listing services where it locates a matching listing, it cannot seem to find the Facebook page. They have identical phone numbers as what we submitted (verified by Google) as well as the street address. We keyed in the Facebook link in the details of the listing for Moz Local. Moz Local only shows an option to create a page. How do I get it to connect to the existing and very robust Facebook page?

Moz Local: How to Update Yahoo?
Hi - I am using Moz Local and trying to update a Yahoo local listing. The Moz link into Yahoo just leads to the Yahoo (Yext) paid service for multiple citation updates. How do you claim and update a Yahoo local business page? It looks like my page was automatically fed from Yelp to Yahoo, but there is no way to update anything in Yahoo without paying their fee. Help?

New Company with Google+ but not in directories. Does Moz add those even though they show no listing status?
I am submitting a new company. I created a Google+ account that's been verified. Once it's on Moz local, will it be added to these directories even though it's not showing up that the business exists?

Moz Local Problems
On the 9th I tried to get Moz Local, but it would not connect to the right g+ page. I've been told their working on it, but after a week...nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? if so, how long did it take for them to fix it? Thanks, Ruben P.S. Mozzers, if you respond, do not mark it as "answered." I need answers from customers who can give me a timeline from their experience. As nice as you all are, I'm over the generic support responses.
