Do only paid adwords appear in google shopping
-
Does anyone know if we have to have a paid addwords campain for our products to appear in google shopping.
We have a feed set up for google shopping.
We have addwords campaigns running for google.
But our products do not seem to appear in google shopping.
Any advise on how to get them there?

I totally agree. The conversion on my campaign is sick! Mainly because we always appear cheaper next to the big box stores, they have to charge sales tax and shipping, we don't. It definitely is worth every penny and every minute of time it takes to manage it.

Thumbs up for Monica answer.
I can only add in my experience google shopping campaigns are worth every cent. CPA is yummy.

Google shopping doesn't run off of key terms at all. It runs off of the attributes of your products. You have to create a shopping campaign in Google AdWords in order for your products to be displayed. The products are submitted to merchant center, then you add them to a shopping campaign in Adwords. Here is a video with instructions. Make sure that you are starting with high bids and budgets. This is the best way to get a large amount of data in a short amount of time.
You will want to frequently check your search terms by going to the keywords tab, hitting details, and under search terms, select all. The only way to control your campaign is with negative keywords. Adding keywords to the ad groups WILL NOT matter. (I had to learn this the hard way) I set up each of my products in its own ad group in order to better determine CTR, what my CPC should actually be and negative keywords. This was the most effective way for me to do it. Some of my products ended up being grouped together in one ad group because I have over 1000 products in Google Shopping. I tried to minimize it as much as possible.
If you need help with this, just give Google a call. They are super helpful with setting up these campaigns and ad groups.

in short - yes, this used to be a free channel until about 18 months ago and drove a lot of traffic however that traffic is still there and more (now its in the SERPs) you just got to pay for it and its quite expensive for certain keywords.

Hi,
Here I am providing you few checkpoints either of them could be reason for not showing your products in Google shopping.
(1) google may sometimes take 24-72 hours or so
before a properly processed data-feed can be seen
within the adwords account; the feed must be valid.(2) be certain a product_type attribute is submitted
using plain text and > separated taxonomy data ; e.g.
Toys > Wagons
https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188494#product_type(3) product-targets are for regular-product-listing-ad-campaigns;
shopping-campaigns use product-groups to create groups of
items to assign bids.

Hope this helps
Thanks

Hi everyone, We have been running Google Ads for a while now and last week all of our Google Ads were paused with reason Compromised Site. • googie-anaiytics[.]com
• vty68[.]net We have asked our Website vendor to scan and they found nothing. We would be greatly appreciated if you could help. I tried Google Search Console and even the tool Google Safe Browsing that Google itself suggested but both the tools showed that our website does not have any malicious links at all. And yet Google Ads support team keeps telling us our page contains these links. I am wondering if anyone in the community has experienced this before and how did you address this issue. Or could you guys please help to share any tools that you know can do a deep scan on this page and if possible our entire website to help us identify where the links are located? Please let me know if you need any additional information from us and I would be happy to provide it.1 -
Google Analytics Offline Conversions
Hi All, I've been searching the net for this for a while now and haven't found any suitable solutions. I'm looking at a way of importing conversions into Analytics. For a business I work with there is currently a split between Contact Form Submissions (we can track) Mobile Website Calls (we can track) Offline Calls (visit the website via AdWords and pickup the phone) We currently record all call data so we can see just how many calls we are getting from the campaign, and we take notes on keywords and time of call. So manually we can figure out the conversion rate. I was wondering if there was a way to mark certain visits as conversions manually? I'm pretty sure there isn't, but figured this would be the best place to ask! Thanks in advance!

How to manage AdWords accounts for two business units
Hello! I need some insight with a problem I'm struggling with. First, some background... Our company has two business units: (1) our dental practice and (2) our insurance business. In 2013, we started using AdWords to promote our insurance business. In 2013, we also used an agency to manage our SEM efforts for the dental practice. In 2014, we plan to bring our dental practice SEM campaign in-house and manage both AdWords account internally. That leads to my question... Is it possible with the one AdWords login that we've used for our insurance business to add a second, completely separate account? And by completely separate, I mean separate reporting, separate Campaigns tab, etc. If it's not possible, whats a guy to do? Set up a completely separate AdWords account with a different email address and login? Any insights from those who have managed a similar situation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Adwords "seller reviews" not showing
We have been building up our reviews (with trustpilot) over the last few months, which has been picked up by google's reviews, and on the 2 July we passed the 30 reviews mark, (takes about a week or two before it shows the reviews on google reviews). So we have had + 30 reviews for over 6 weeks now, our score is 4.8/5 but are "Seller Reviews" is still not showing on our adwords. Is there any other reason our seller reviews would not be showing yet?

Trademarked words in in Google Adwords ads - Why do competitors get to use them?
Hi, The keyword I want to use in my ad is trademarked, so they disqualified my ad. The trademark was specifically cited as the reasoning. I tried this across maybe 5 different ads. All disqualified The thing I don't understand is that there are like 10 other advertisers who are actively using this "trademarked" word in their ads. It's not like 1 scooted past Google, there's a ton of advertisers doing it. So how do I get past them or were they grandfathered in or something? FYI... I tried dynamic insert to see if that could my "trademarked" word in the back door, but no luck. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Adwords Keyword Quality Score changes when keyword is paused
Today I was pausing a bunch of low quality score keywords for a client, the thing is, once I paused the keywords, the quality score would immediately change. For example, a number of keywords that had a QS of 3 while they were running, immediately changed to 1 once paused. Out of curiosity I un-paused one of them and it remained at 1. Has anyone else experienced this and/or have an explanation? Cheers

Running Adwords Campaigns to show Improvement in Organic Traffic
Hi mozers, I have a new client who contacted because his organic traffic dropped all of a sudden from 5000 visits per month to 300 visits per month. I have been reviewing his website profile and there are several reasons that take me to beleave the agency that managed his account until 3 months ago, was doing PPC to show improvement in the orgranic (SEO Service) traffic. 1. The Website was showing traffic for several highly competitive keywords 2. Most of the traffic 95% was driven to the home page with several groups of keywords 3. The website has just a few external links with anchor text not related to keywords sending traffic. Is anyone familiar with this type of practice? Thanks in advanced.
