Facebook News Feed - Proximity as a Factor?

I just got back from a conference in Florida and since being back am seeing many of those industry friends showing up in my Facebook feed with much more regularity than usual - is Facebook using proximity between devices in delivering who shows up in the news feed?

I am willing to bet it's extremely likely, especially if Facebook takes notice that you are (or were) at the same event in the same location or if that event is trending amongst your peers. Also, if your connection posts about it or something closely related, the post will more than likely make it to your news feed because you care about that topic in Facebook's eyes. Keep in mind, if you engage with these people more during or since the event, you're more likely to see their posts. Here's more information from Facebook.
I would take a look at Buffer's Inside the Facebook News Feed. It's continuously updated, has a great comments section, and is filled with a lot of factors and potential factors in their algorithms. Also, Single Grain has a great resource.

Facebook Business Page Optimization: Awards Section
Hi everyone! I am looking to add my clients awards to the Facebook business page to add a little "pow" and give myself a "look what I did" talking point at my next meeting with them. I was comparing their page to the competition, and I noticed the competition has a lovely Awards section under their About. Do you know how/where this is hiding? Facebook Reach on Post Just Spiked!
Yesterday I put a post with a photo on our company Facebook page Normally our reach on a post is 500-600 out of a list of 77,000 followers. However, since posting this one yesterday afternoon, our reach has hit almost 9,000! The only thing different with this post vs. any others we've done is that I put a text link for the company name back to the same Facebook page that the post was put on. I didn't intend to do this, it's just that when I started typing in our company name, Facebook suggested making it a link, so I thought, why not? I'm thinking somehow that made it appear in more people's timelines than usual. We posted it the same time in the day as every other post, and this was the only thing unique about it. Any thoughts?

Facebook Page Banned and Removed Due to Negative Comments Against A Single Post - How to Recover?
Hello. I'm working with a very reputable company - and their Facebook page has completely disappeared. Yesterday, a random visitor flagged a couple posts as abusive, and today the page is gone. How to implement products in facebook to generate maximum traffic to site and facebook profile page?
Lets take the example of a hotel reservation site offering 500 hotels. Any suggestions on how to present the 500 hotels within their facebook page so that they generate maximum traffic and interaction? No intention to offer checkout on facebook. For a new site, I want to feed in Twitter updates and Facebook posts onto the page. I regularly update these feeds. I'm using PHP to directly integrate with the two sites API and grab the data.
