A client of mine is being held hostage by their facebook managers and refusing to give access to their ads - any way to get facebook support on this?
-
David,
Because you can only have one ad account on Facebook this is common practice. Giving access to the add account to the client could compromise the ad campaigns that they are running for other clients.
The client should be able to see the results of the ads from within their Facebook page under publishing tools. and under insights. However they will not be able to see the cost of each ad. The company should provide the invoices generated by facebook. These can be distributed by client if necessary.

The client was never given access to the ad account that is being used to runs the ads for them even thought it is billing their cc. The agency claims that industry standard is to not provide access. I spoke to facebook and they said they cant help. I was wondering if this is a common issue?

Hi David,
Could you give us some details about the situation?

Facebook won't spend my ad budget. Any recommendations?
What do you do when Facebook won't spend your ad budget, no matter what you do or how high you bid? We've tested a large audience (2.2 million reach) under a single ad set versus many smaller ad sets with tighter targeting (50-150k reach). We've tested auto bidding versus manual bidding with bids as high as 1000% higher than Facebook's recommended bid. We've tested many versions of creative with and without text overlay and our relevance scores are high. Nothing seems to work. Our Facebook rep and Facebook technical support keep recommending to stay with one ad set and one ad, but that's not spending either. Most days we are getting less than 20% budget utilization. Has anyone experienced this situation before? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Facebook Lead Ads to email
I am trying to find the best way to get information from submissions that come from Facebook Lead Ads to be sent straight to email. I believe the way to do this is to configure a CRM. Does anyone know though of a free CRM to use that will enable this to be setup?

Is there a Facebook Ad equivalent to Google MCC?
Hi Mozzers, Really unsure if we are missing something here, but whilst trying to set-up paid ads for some of our clients on FB we have run into a significant issue. We need to be able to allow FB to debit multiple business accounts for varying ads on different pages. However every time we try to access the ads manager to set-up a new ad, FB takes us to the individuals (the person logged in to the page) account, rather than creating an ad account for that page/business individually. What are we missing? We use Google MCC for managing our PPC campaigns and so wondered if there is anything similar we can use for FB? Or any other recommendations on how to get round this without dragging each client into the office and asking them to log-in so that we can set these up? Thanks!

Are Facebook ads a waste of money?
Possibly a contrivercial topic as it depends on the business industry and other factors. Although when we have created targeted ads, say for example British people who live in London, aged between 30-55 as our 'targeted audience', set the ads live and we get nothing but fake followers and people from eastern countries. It seems to me as a complete waste of money.

Will you be adding +1 to your sites?
I logged into my Adsense account yesterday and saw a notification that I could have code to add the plus one button to my site. I currently have addthis on most pages, so I set it up so that the +1 button is floated next to my Addthis FB, Twitter and Share buttons. I'd love to hear your personal thoughts on +1. Do you think it will have a great effect on rankings? Are you likely to +1 interesting sites as you surf the web? Are you adding it to all of your pages?
