Schema.org for ecommerce

Hello,
Has anyone got any experiences of using schema mark-up on an ecommerce site? If so, what has been the outcome since doing in?
I am just wondering if it is worth marking up our products with the full product set of schemas and what the impact would be?

I agree the reviews should be good, at least in terms of CTR.
I am also looking at doing the image, item name, price, brand etc and wondered if this would have any impact as well?

We have implemented the reviews function on a few website in my opinion it is worth it.
I mean things like REL author and other Schema's are 100% worth looking at.

Is it possible to have schema.org itemtypes for both secure and insecure ports? I run a static-ish site made in Jekyll, and am implementing Schema.org on the individual pages. To many links on page. Big or small issue for eCommerce
On my site I have around 3k pages and about 90 categories. Most of which have a sensible number of products but some have only a few products and some have loads. if I have say 40 links on the page ignoring the producand is it a big problem if I have more than 60 products on the page? Assuming a link limit per page of 100 user wise we have filters and sorts for thme to find what they breed without issue. But simply from an seo point of view how damaging would I be to have the 23 "to many links on page issues? Worth fixing by making two categories and splitting out products even tho it would hinder the user.

Schema address question
I have a website that has a contact us page... of course and on that page I have schema info pointing out the address and a few other points of data. I also have the address to the business location in the footer on every page. Would it be wiser to point to the schema address data on the footer instead of the contact page? And are there any best practices when it comes down to how many times you can point to the same data, and on which pages? So should I have schema address on the contact us page and the footer of that page, that would be twice, which could seem spammy. Haven't been able to find much best practices info on schema out there. Thanks, Cy

Certain product ranking higher than category (ecommerce)
Hi all, I'm a bit stumped on a SERP. The product is ranking higher than the actual category. Is there anyway to fix this? When I type in "category111", I get the product link instead of a link to the general category. It would be "productname category111" and link would point to product not category. Hope that makes since! TIA

Is it possible to use both Schema.org and Facebook Open Graph for structured data markup? On the Google Webmaster Central blog, they say, "you should avoid mixing the formats together on the same web page, as this can confuse our parsers." Your opinion on using the markup from schema.org
I am attending SMXEast and one of the speakers is strongly encouraging to use the markup from schema.org. Does anyone have experience with the markup from schema.org and were you able to track any outcome in the search rankings based on adding this markup?

Does it matter if my domain has a .com .org. net extention?
Hi, Does the domain extention ie. .com .org. net effect the chances of me ranking in search engines. Is there a prefrence or does it not matter? Thanks Yaser
