Increasding the number of Tweets & FB Shares

Just asking for advice / strategy on increasing the number of tweets & Facebook shares to a particular domain.
We're seriously lacking in this department and I'm not exactly sure how to get started as we're a B2B services company.
We're languishing on page 2 of Google where all the other stats look good enough for us to be in the top 5, tweets and FB shares are 1 and 1 respectively.
Any advice gratefully received - we also have a small budget set aside for an expert to provide a ranking strategy if anyone's interested.

Hi Tony,
I had a very quick look at your site. Content ideas etc. from below are good.
One of the easiest ways to increase this aspect is to make it easy to Tweet / Share. Can you bring AddThis or similar Share services into the design of the site? If people can see these on the site it is easy for them to share. I increased Shares of a TV Advert by 10 times by including this feature (video been on the site for 2 years, one year of which with AddThis).

Totally agree with EGOL. Here's my 2 cents to that: Simply ASK your customers, what they want you to write about
Start a mini-survey and let your customers openly discuss your content. Ask them if there's something particular that they don't like about your content. Also ask them on how often you should write something. Sometimes you'd be amazed to hear that your customers either want more or less from you.If users get what they want when they want it, they are more probable to retweet it Even though that may not sound very new to you, it is most often neglected when creating content.

Some tips to increase B2B tweets.

Make a blog on the domain, create good content which suppliers and friends will want to share.

Contact suppliers about your content see if they will tweet things on their accounts.

Make a document for B2B suppliers to download, to download the content they must tweet first.

Make corporate video and link it via FB shares.

If you want tweeted then place something on your site that is highly tweetable.
If you want shared them do something that people will want to tell their friends.
Funny content, free stuff, a great video, a news article are examples of things that people tweet about. What can you do?

Facebook: reaching audience who have liked / shared my content
Hi, I am new to social, so the question might be a bit beginner. If I put a like / share / recommend button on my site, or maybe a comment box, how can I reach audiences at a later time, who have interacted with my plugins (liked/shared/commented)? YouTube Channels - Geotargeting - UK & US specific YT channels (but with identical videos)
Can you have one for each region such as Uk & US like you might with FaceBook etc: I know its a good idea for Geo-targeting reasons to have country specific social pages to promote country specific websites (i.e. UK FaceBook for .co.uk website and US Facebook for .com site etc), does the same apply to YouTube ? Does YouTube allow this (since videos will be effectively the same on both channels) ? I would hope so since say if you wanted to exploit annotated links to the main site from the videos then you would want the US viewer following a link to a US product page not a UK page and vice versa ? Page Speed and Social sharing bookmarks - how to balance
I've been having some challenges on my page load times and am in process of addressing. Some of the issues are my pictures(so I'm in process of condensing), but part of the issue (according to pingdom.com) is my social sharing. I was using 1 click retweet, and when I changed this to Sexy bookmarks, it seemed to improve. But, I'm wondering 2 things: 1. Do you guys have any recos on which plugin is best to use and takes least time to load (I'm not sure if this is contraditory). My priority is G+/Tw/FB. 2. On my sexybookmarks, it's strange because visually, the plugin is not showing up correctly. Where the G+ button should be, it's invisible. Ironically it works, if I click on it, but a normal person is not going to realize it's there. Any suggestions? In case it helps, my site is TheFlooringGirl.com. I don't think the plugin shows up there, but it does show up at the bottom of all of my blog posts. Thx. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Personal & Business Google+ Pages - which gives SEO juice?
Hi i set up a personal Google+ page and added a business page for my website www.over50choices.co.uk. The business page is linked to my site, but my personal profile "James Price" has the authorship and my blog, youtube, twitter accounts for over50choices linked to it - do i need to link all these accounts to my Google+ business page to get maximum SEO juice or will my personal page get picked up? Do i need to transfer all the social accounts to my business profille - help!? Thanks James

Optimal Image Size For Social Sharing
Hi Everyone, I have just watch Rands latest whiteboard friday and in it he mentions that care should be taken to ensure that images are sized correctly for social sharing on facebook and Google+. Where is it possible to find a total number of tweets by URL? So, for example, domain.com/page1.html 2 tweets domain.com/page2.html has 20 tweets, etc.

Tweet Archive
I'm planning to create a Tweet Archive on my WordPress install. Ideally each tweet would be a separate entry in the database. That would mean that each one could essentially have it's own page. I think that if each had it's own page though, it would just create a very deep site with super shallow almost non-existant content. I am pretty sure I know the answer to this, I'm just looking for some substantiation... Should I just keep it as a list and not have each tweet exist as a separate page?
