Lazy Loading & Image SEO

I wanted to implement lazy loading on my whole domain, but was unsure about the effect on the organic image search. Therefore I implemented it some months ago on 3 selected URLs with medium organic image traffic. Unfortunately all 3 pages dropped significantly (roughly 80%) of image impressions and clicks (seach console data). It seems that just images within the fold, that are not loaded via lazy load are still ranking.
Does anybody have here more positive experiences?

From your experience, testing lazy loading on three selected URLs resulted in a significant drop of around 80% in image impressions and clicks, according to search console data. This indicates that only images within the fold, which are not loaded via lazy load, continue to rank well. I faced a similar issue on my website, but I managed to resolve it.

I’ve built a CapCut template website called capcuthut.com/, where I share CapCut templates with download buttons. However, I’ve noticed that these buttons aren’t showing up in Google’s button search results. I’ve already optimized the buttons and added the right alt text and file names. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Well, If you have changed the URL then make some changes by adding alt attribute & change the sizes. You can get more tech solutions at The Geek Insights

I've created a CapCut template website called capcuttemplatee.co.in/. On my site, I post CapCut templates along with download buttons. Hey, I created a poetry-based website named crystal poetry. Where I post quotes and poetry with downloadable images so my question is why my images are not appearing in Google Images results I also optimized images and properly used alt and file names etc.

If you are using Wordpress then try to install some lazy load plugins. Learn more about it.

I haven't yet seen issues with lazy loading, also you can always separately file them as an image sitemap, but I can't see how this should be related to ranking drops to be honest as long as Google can still read the same attributes under the same URL.

No, everything the same. The only thing what was changed, the loading over lazy load to have a propper testing environment.

Did you change the URLs of the images, change their file names, change their alt attribute, change their size (file or pixel), change where they are hosted?

Meta Tags for Images in Multiple Galleries
For a while now we've had an outside SEO consultant as well as having me in-house doing a variety of work. One of the things our consultant would do was writing up optimized alt & title tags for the image galleries on our ecommerce sites. Recently what came up was what to do when a image appears in multiple galleries (e.g. an image of a bedroom could appear in both the bedrooms gallery & the accent wall gallery). We're not sure whether it would be best practices to use the same exact alt & title tags for an image in all the galleries it appears in or whether that would be too much duplication and each gallery should have different tags despite being the same image. None of it is being done in a deceptive manner, we're just been tailoring how we explain the image based on the specific gallery, landing page, etc. Our consultant is saying that an image should always have the same tags across the entirety of the site but I'm more of the mind that varying them by specific page would help images more readily rank for multiple relevant terms. Any advice?

A lot of local SEO questions from a newbie...
I've been doing basic SEO for customers for quite awhile now in terms of on-page stuff, but am starting to move into the arena of local SEO services and had a few questions that I hoped you guys could help with. 1. What services besides Google+ Local do you list customers websites in, such as Yahoo or Bing Local? 2. When creating accounts at the services listed question #1, do you have to verify the phone number that's listed with the business owner or is there any extra type of verification needed? How do you deal with getting all that verified for the company? 3. Do you create all these listings at Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. from the same account? 4. Does anyone know of a list of the top 50 places to get local citations such as Yelp or YellowPages? 5. When creating citations do you normally have to verify the phone number or address that you list and how do you deal with that with business owners? 6. Do you use the same accounts to create all the local citations or are different ones required for each listing? 7. What companies would you recommend that handle all the above for you, such as a setting up accounts at Google, Yahoo, and Bing - and then also creating around 50 citations for you? Of course all the login information would also need to be provided for everything they create. Thanks for taking the time to read this post, I look forward to hearing back from all of you!

Prioritising certain images in search results
I am currently putting together a website for my hobby (collecting cycling jerseys) that I can then use to improve my SEO knowledge. I have tried to optimize the image names so that when somebody searches for a particular item, the image is shown in Google Images. For example; if you type in "ADR jersey" in google; it gives the following image; http://cycling-jersey-collection.com/images/150px/2013-02-07-adr-fangio-ioc-mbk-1987-team-retro-jersey-maillot-trikot.jpg Whereas I want it to prioritize this one; http://cycling-jersey-collection.com/images/2013-02-07-adr-fangio-ioc-mbk-1987-team-retro-jersey-maillot-trikot.jpg The smaller image is used on a "Browse" the collection page whereas the bigger one is just used on the single, specific page. Can anybody offer any up-to-date advice? Thanks! Andy

What is the best way to host a video on my site from a SEO perspective?
Hi, we are in the process of creating a video about a topic that is highly relevant for our customers. Once it is completed we want to offer the video to our customers so that they can embed it into their own websites for free. What is the best way to do this and still receive maximum SEO juice? If we use a a video service like youtube or vimeo, then the link will go to vimeo or youtube and not our site. One thing we are thinking about is asking our customers to link to our site in return for embedding the video, but if there is an automatic solution then this would be a lot better. How much link juice do SVG images pass?
I have been experimenting with SVG images for SEO in the last 7 months. I can definitely get pages indexed using embedded links within SVG images but have not had much success measuring link juice. Have you tried anything along similar lines? How much link juice does an SVG image pass?
