Google Search Console - Excluded Pages and Multiple Properties
-
I have used Moz to identify keywords that are ideal for my website and then I optimized different pages for those keywords, but unfortunately rankings for some of the pages have declined. Since I am working with an ecommerce site, I read that having a lot of Excluded pages on the Google Search Console was to be expected so I initially ignored them.
However, some of the pages I was trying to optimize are listed there, especially under the 'Crawled - currently not indexed' and the 'Discovered - currently not indexed' sections. I have read this page (link: https://moz.com/blog/crawled-currently-not-indexed-coverage-status ) and plan on focusing on Steps 5 & 7, but wanted to ask if anyone else has had experience with these issues.
Also, does anyone know if having multiple properties (https vs http, www vs no www) can negatively affect a site? For example, could a sitemap from one property overwrite another? Would removing one property from the Console have any negative impact on the site? I plan on asking these questions on a Google forum, but I wanted to add it to this post in case anyone here had any insights.
Thank you very much for your time,
Forest

Only my homepage ranks for my keywords, should I delete my other pages?
I am an independent artist and all of my business inquiries come through my website (www.ChrisCarlsonArt.com). Over the last 6 months I have been trying to get pages other than my homepage to rank for my keywords, but I haven't made any progress. I worry that I am cannibalizing my keywords since my pages all have similar information. Should I just delete my other pages and focus on ranking my homepage? Also, if I delete my other pages will that have a negative impact on my rankings?

"Recruitment Agencies In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia" Google is ranking me correctly #1 in singular version on the query, but not in plural version. Even my competitors in SERP's are same and ranking correctly on both teams. And yes, the real/in-search keyword is ""Recruitment Agencies In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia" and not the "Recruitment Agency In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia" I have gone through my on-page and off page but sill can't find the solution. Here is the image of current SERP's: "Recruitment Agencies In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia"

words not appearing in the search engine or not ranking correctly ?
Although we do all the SEO work on our website, we do not rank in the words computer repair and laptop repair, although our backlink rate is good. The address of our website is https://trueonefix.com, one of the keywords I gave to the homepage that I was really curious about, for example, computer repair, I created a page on this page ( https://trueonefix.com/computer-repair/ ), they told me it was cannibalization and I removed it, now the site is getting less rankings than before. Can anyone help as to why this is? No matter what I do, I can't rank the words. #trueonefix #googlerank

Is page speed important to improve SEO ranking?
I saw on a SEO Agency's site (https://burstdgtl.com/search-engine-optimization/) that page speed apparently affects Google ranking. Is this true? And if it is, how do I improve it, do I need an agency?

Unsolved Are my local pages watering down my website?
We operate in multiple cities, and for a number of years, have (mostly successfully) targeted each city with its own landing page. But lately Im seeing these pages drop in rankings, If I ignored SEO tactics, and designed the site based on what I think would be most useful/helpful to people viewing the website, I would not have any location landing pages. I would have one strong page (eg, probably the home page), that says "and we operate in the following locations..." and then list them off. The thing is, I dont really think these location specific landing pages have ever offered any real value to someone searching, other than just making it clear that we operate in their area (which doesn't need a landing page to make that clear). They're basically variations of each other, key word adjusted for the location - done for the purpose of ranking locally. I mean, that sounds like spam. But all the research says that I need landing pages for each location. My question: What would happen if I built one new page, and listed all the locations clearly on that page, and then 301 redirect the existing location landing pages to the new, single page. Would I fall of the cliff?

Keywords are indexed on the home page
Hello everyone, For one of our websites, we have optimized for many keywords. However, it seems that every keyword is indexed on the home page, and thus not ranked properly. This occurs only on one of our many websites. I am wondering if anyone knows the cause of this issue, and how to solve it. Thank you.
