Hello,
I have a twitter account.
Do I need to make a 2nd twitter account for my business?
My current username is
BobWeikel
If I need a 2nd account, what would my username be? My company is called Bob Weikel & Associates.
Thank You!

I used to think when doing SEO that personal life and business life would be two separate things. But after delving into the culture and shortly after joining SEOMOZ I had a total perspective change. Rand often talks about networking and being social with others members of the SEO field, and that a lot of his work was accomplished by people he knew, and connections he made on a personal level that allowed his business life to grow. All of my personal social media profiles are also my business profiles. The other day I had someone browse SEOMoz, recognized my username and one the websites I work on and out of the blue just gave me some free links to his sight just to be nice. You have to keep them together for them to be effective.

I think it is a good idea. Usually your personal Twitter account is more focused on your identity as an individual and your business account is more focused on your identity as a business. You might not want to share the same things about your personal life on your business Twitter profile, but sharing those things on your personal account can definitely help build business relationships through shared interests. You can also have your employees contribute to the business Twitter profile to increase the frequency of updates and having conversations with people, which can help increase followers. An added benefit is that you can Tweet your own blog articles from both accounts, which can help a little in terms of getting the ball rolling with social media promotion of an article that you write.
Maybe something like BobWeikelCo or BobWeikelTeam would work.

Does Google give more ranking weight for Shares for One Social Network over Another.
We are using BuzzSumo to explore the types of content that generate the highest number of shares per article. Does anyone have data to suggest that a share on Google+ carries more ranking weight than a share on Twitter or Facebook, or LinkedIn? We have seen a recent case with one of our client's competitors where they significantly grew their Google+ shares within a relatively short period of time and gained a higher rank for a key search phrase that my client is also targeting. Thank you, Rosemary Brisco

Should rel=publisher tags (pointing out at Google+ Business page) only go on the homepage?
Hello, I've just read... “Publisher tags should only go on the most significant page of your site, usually the homepage.” Is this correct?

Twitter stats
I am trying to increase the position of one of my deeper links (my site.com/targetpage) trying to use twitter to up this page as a new strategy. I have 18 on OSE for my twitter metrics but none on the deeper link (i havent tried yet for this). How do i actually get the a twitter metric score for this deeper link? Does the tweet have to be the actual target page URL? Or is it a twitter share button on the page? Confused how it works. Thanks, Chris

Connecting Twitter accounts?
Does anyone know if it is possible to connect 2 separate Twitter accounts? The marketing department in my company set up the official Twitter feed. However, one of the employees took it upon themselves to set up another one and built up a good following. Now a lot of people are getting confused to which one is the official one. It would be great it we could merge the two, but I've been looking all morning and can't seem to find a way. Any help?

Facebook Account Architectures (Pages, Groups, etc)
I'm looking for help with how to setup/manage a community on Facebook. Here is the scenario: You have a bike store owner. Out of the store he also organizes different biking training groups, for people who want to be able to meet certain personal goals. These groups like to interact with the other members inside their groups, but not across groups. Does the following architecture make sense? The business would have 1 Company Page. Then for for various different training groups, the company admin would create Facebook 'Groups' which allow for interaction amongst members that way. Does that make sense? Or is there a smarter way to do this? It seems like this isn't very unified, because there could be a bunch of different groups. Is there a way to set this up inside the business' page itself? Any other thoughts?
